The combination of nutty amberette, creamy tuberose, and sticky sweet honey forms an almost nutella accord the same way Kim Kardashian’s True honey almost smells chocolatey. It’s very warm, smooth, sweet, creamy. No off-putting sharp edges, just a syrupy sweet, nutty, floral, but I will note a strange nuance of crayola crayons, or rather the paper they’re wrapped in.

Flat out honey and baby powder on me. Actually pretty nasty. I can see where this would suit some people, but with my chemistry it’s just offensive. Pass

I wish I could give this a good review. The description sounded so promising, but the musk immediately turns powdery on me and that’s all I can smell. It’s pleasant but boring. Oh well, I only got this imp because they were out of Snake Oil.

I’m picking up a honey spiciness that is so very nice with this one.
It is pretty well blended to my nose, there is a spiciness in the background, and it is slightly boozy.
Initially it did smell rather masculine to my nose, but then this aspect died down, to bring up the spicy/honey aspect.
I think women can also carry this one off, but I’m not sure it will suit ultra girly girls.
There is a slight spicy-floral undertone which I assume is the geranium.
It is another unusual scent-to my nose, and as I’ve said before, I am a sucker for things that are unusual.
After a little while the geranium comes out more, and now there is also a more prominent honey note to it. There is something else floral-which I’m guessing might be the tuberose.
There is also something slightly green about this scent. It does sit a little close to the skin for my liking-not that I want a sillage monster, that offends everybody around me, but rather I would like to be able to smell some of the perfume wafting up to me-without having to put my nose right close to my wrist.
ETA: Several hours after the dry-down there is a lovely spicy honey scent with the musk combining with the honey and the myrrh. It is actually a sensual and sexy scent-but this is after the dry-down

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“Strange goddess, brown as evening to the sight,
Whose scent is half of musk, half of havanah,
Work of some obi, Faust of the Savanah,
Ebony witch, and daughter of the night.
By far preferred to troth, or opium, or sleep,
Love vaunts the red elixir of your mouth.
My caravan of longings seeks in drouth
Your eyes, the wells at which my cares drink deep.
Through those black eyes, by which your soul respires,
Pitiless demon! pour less scorching fires.
I am no Styx nine times with flame to wed.
Nor can I turn myself to Proserpine
To break your spell, Megera libertine!
Within the dark inferno of your bed.
A pounding heartbeat coalesced into scent: demonic passion and brutal sexuality manifested through myrrh, red patchouli, cognac, honey, and tuberose and geranium in a breathy, panting veil over the darkest body musk.”
One of my absolute favourites.
Well….. What can I say.
To me there is definatley a nutty undertone to this scent! The honey and the nuttiness are underlying the whole time with this gorgeous complex smell on top!
It’s very hard to pick the notes out, I can’t smell patchouli or geranium at all.
This is another scent which has changed over the weeks that I’ve worn it. At first there was a definate stronger nutty tone, that has calmed down a bit and my body chemistry had balanced things out a bit!
It’s very sexy, It kind of reminds me of a mix between Snake Oil and Skuld. Very nice and I’ve had loads of Compliments at work about it!
ETA: 11 months down the line, I have recieved another imp of this. I’ve completley fallen in love. This is going on my bottle wishlist and into my TOP 10 Black Phoenix perfumes.!!!! It’s Gawjuss! It’s like sexy nuts. haha. So many complimetns have been had with this one it’s astounding.
