The top notes reveals citrus: bergamot and Sicilian lemon, united with mouthwatering sweet melon. The heart is introduces us into a beautiful floral fantasy created of orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine, the king of night hours. The sensual base unites rosewood and coconut, amber and musk. The fragrance was created in 2006.

It was my 16 years old birth day gift. It was amazing to me.

The first perfume I chose for myself and the first that is wholly my own when I was 14. It smells very delicate, feminine and grown-up to my young nose then.
The initial clean citrusy burst developed immediately into subtle floral bouquet that lasts up to the drydown of clean musk. The coconut isn’t too prominent to my nose but I can detect hints of it accompanying the florals lending it a creaminess near the drydown. For those wary of white florals you have nothing to fear here. If white florals seems to be a ferocious beast to your nose they are completely defanged in this frag. 😉

I don’t really see this fragrance as a kids perfume.
I see it more as flirty and sweet with a hint of spice.
For me the notes that stood out were; orange blossom, rosewood, musk and bergamot.
It is so beautiful to me.

So much light flowers and discrete scent. I don’t find it flashy or strong like others.

My first bottle of purfume when I was 16. Very light, fruity and floral. It is the purfume for young girl.

I can’t believe pepper is not a note listed for this perfume! It smells just like Lancôme “Miracle” to me- anyone else smell pepper? (or did my bottle go bad before I bought it?)

I used to have this fragrance and I really liked it but i would reccomend this perfume to 7-13 year olds because its really sweet and light, sutible for early teenagers. Over all I would rate this perfume 6.5/10.

this is actually my first bottle of perfume, it is girly, suitable for a sweet teenage girl. it is very floral and received lots of good comments from female friends. The scent is too youthful so i stopped using it when i was 18. It is gonna be a good memory. Ideal gift for teenage girl!!!!

This perfume smells very girly to me. Cute, sweet and fun but a bit fragile and naive. However, my boyfriend likes me whe I wear it, maybe because guys like simple girls?

It’s funny how so many Anna Sui’s smells like D&G Light Blue. I have Secret Wish Magic Romance, Dolly Girl and Dolly Girl On the Beach and I can smell D&G Light Blue in all 3 and from reading reviews here, it seems even Secret Wish smells like D&G Light Blue. Where is the originality? All of her perfumes smells almost the same and smells like D&G Light Blue. I bought these 3 around 6 years ago, when they came out. At that time I liked fresh scents and my collection weren’t as big, but I would never have bought them today. I stay away from Anna Sui now. What am I gonna do with the 3 bottles of her that I have? Maybe I ask some younger relatives if they want them and I will give them away. They also lack both sillage and longevity. I noticed that this summer when I opened Dolly Girl On the Beach for the first time and used it everyday for a week, when being away. You can only smell them for maybe an hour, then they’re gone. And it’s so close to the skin, that even you can hardly smell it, except for that first 30-60 minutes after you sprayed it on. Like room freshners. Anna Sui Room Freshner!

Secret Wish Magic Romance is one of the better Anna Sui fragrances.
It starts out frisch and a little bitter with bergamot and lemon.
The heart of the composition is tart and sweet at the same time, it is dense and floral and smells like orange blossom and – still – bergamot.
I cannot smell any of the base notes; the coconut is (fortunately) not detectable on my skin, and amber and rosewood are a no-show, too.
Instead of a “proper” drydown the heart note remains unchanged on my skin.
Secret Wish Magic Romance does not leave a fragrant trail; the tart-sweet orange blossom mix stays close to the skin.
It lasts around 3 – 4 hours on my skin which is a nice surprise.
All in all, this is a nice, summery orange flower fragrance that is surprisingly grown-up.
Secret Wish Magic Romance is also O de L’Orangerie’s fragrant twin.

I bought this because it got decent reviews and the notes seemed lovely, and also because the bottle really is darling. Unfortunately, on me it smelled like a cross between “Fantasy” and “Circus Fantasy,” neither of which am I a fan of. The citrus turned sour on my skin after a couple of hours. A well-made citrus never does this (Perry Ellis 360, M. Asam No. 1 are examples), but synthetic, cheap citrus always does. Oh well, too bad for me. Though I was tempted to keep this because of the adorable bottle, I returned it the next day.

Just bought it yesterday and worn it for the first time today. The first time I sprayed it, I thought it will give me a headache because it was a burst of white flowers. However, after 20minutes it is calming down to be similar to the secret wish blue that I love so much. It is great to use when you want to be feminine(floral) with a clean citrus scent. I think I will like this but not as much as I love the Secret Wish blue.
Edit: the floral scent really overpowering and now i can smell the tuberose heart. i wish the floral scent wears off faster. it is not something i like much but not something to dislike either. i will probably wear it on a day or night that i want to be all womanly and alluring. but not an everyday scent for me.

Wearing it today for a quick test, and it is definitely a lovely fruity floral fragrance, but in this case it’s fruity WHITE floral. Tuberose is very lovely (but I think it smells more like jasmine), and it reminds me of tuberose note in Estee Lauder Pleasures. Juicy and fresh melon is just delicious. Other flowers and citruses notes are fresh as well and slight aquatic. Sadly, I don’t get to smell anything from the base like coconut and rosewood, but the scent gets quite smooth later on. Overall, this fragrance is surprisingly lovely. White flowers are not overpowering and fruitiness is delicious. It’s not as “pink” as it seems, so don’t get fooled by the packaging. I recommend any white floral lovers to give it a try, and it’s so inexpensive!

This one was kind of strange for me, like lemony, powdery rose. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not what I expected. I thought it would smell sweeter and a bit more “pink” by the looks of the bottle. This one is a weirdo, but a pleasant weirdo at least.

I was given this scent as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. I am a mature lady and thought that the bottle was cute but a bit childish and the only Anna Sui I’d ever tried was Dolly Girl which I didn’t like very much. THis is OK on me but I don’t find it that citrusy or fresh. It dries down to a rather powdery “old lady” smell on me which I don’t like and although the coconut is there, it isn’t strong enough to make an impact (I love coconut!). Also this does’nt last very long on my skin although I have spritzed my bed linen with it – seems to smell better on cloth than skin! Not horrid but not that nice either!

smell a bit cheap, but the bottle is cute and i kinda like it.. but it is kinda cheap smelling, like 16 years old who wear too much perfume.. but for those who like sweet young smell, this is quite okay..

I gave this a dud review before but I’ve changed my mind. I like the drydown – it’s really sweet. There is nothing really unique about this perfume, it’s like Miracle by Lancome without the pepperiness, but sometimes I quite like to smell like Miracle by Lancome without the pepperiness. A good perfume for office wear or lounging around at weekends.

On my skin,it does smell like ‘versense by Versace’. Nothing special for me.

I got this as a present from my 5 year old daughter at Christmas. My husband took her into a department store and asked her to choose a perfume for me and she picked this one because of the pink bottle and she liked the smell too apparently. Not my cup of tea unfortunately. Smells a lot like Miracle by Lancome – funnily enough when I was pregnant with my daughter I went off all my favourite perfumes and would only wear Miracle (which I now can’t stand).
I’m actually wearing it today (I feel guilty that I haven’t tried hard enough to like it) and I’ve softened it with White Musk but all I’m getting are wafts of first one perfume then the other. Not very nice actually.

Sorry, not a fan. Cute little bottle, but the melon makes me feel ill (in any fragrance, not just this one). Also, I get a strong jasmine scent, even though it isn’t listed among the notes. Odd. Slightly bitter in the dry down, which to me smells cheap.

Secret Wish Magic Romance is a very likeable, soft, light and sweetish scent which I think is better than some of Anna Sui’s other perfumes, including Sui Dreams and Secret Wish. I just got a tester bottle of it in the post this morning which was a birthday treat to myself and I’m very happy I picked this one over a few other perfumes I was toying with!
Ironically, I recently got a blind buy bottle of J-Lo’s Deseo (which I’m returning!) which smells strongly of coconut yet apparently it doesn’t contain it! Secret Wish Magic Romance, on the other hand, contains coconut yet I don’t smell it at all (which, for me, is a good thing because I really don’t want to smell of coconuts!) !! The main notes that come through on my skin from SWMR are the lemon, jasmine, tuberose and musk, and at first I also smelled what I thought might be violet but apparently that’s not one of the notes! Some reviewers have mentioned that they think it smells synthetic but to me it doesn’t at all. If anything, on my skin it smells very natural and very nice!
On me, this perfume gets better as time wears on and despite it being soft and subtle it lasts on my skin for a surprisingly long time (6+ hours), so I’m really happy about that. I was a little worried initially that with it being so subtle it would fade very quickly but it sticks around for a surprisingly long time!
I’d definitely recommend this perfume to anyone who likes softly sweet, light and subtle perfumes. It’s so nice!

I can smell Dolce Gabanna Light blue and the Secret wish (blue bottle) smells the same to me as this one. Nice perfume I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I have to keep reapplying it because I can never smell it. It is a very fresh angelic smell a little like Love at First Glow by Jennifer Lopez. A pink, innocent fresh zesty smell.

This perfume has a floral warmth to it that the other Sui fragrances, which are more on the fresh and/or fruity side, do not have.
And compared to most of the other Sui frags, the staying power is alright.
When I wear this frag at work in the office, I only feel the need to top it up once during the day.

    Why I bought it:
    1. the bottle is cute. can;t help it.
    2. it smells lovely.not great,or superb or an Anna’s masterpiece, but it’s just simple and lovely. it starts out very well on me. soft and very girly, and it ends nice.
i wear it at home though, since it doesnt last long enough, and i’m just too old to wear this kind of fragrance hahah

While Anna Sui fails to impress me with her uniqueness, I can’t help but admire the cute, girly bottles.
I must admit that in real-life the bottles look rather cheap and tacky, but since my teenage years I always longed to discover what was inside those delicate and fairy-like bottles.
Well, the green-blue bottle (Secret Wish) was a disaster, however the contents of the pink bottle are rather likable.
Magic Romance is what I’d call a subtle fruity floral. It opens with soft and harmonious citrus and sweet melon. The overall impression is fresh and wearable.
The white florals in the heart are more soapy than creamy, which had me slightly disappointed yet also relieved. Magic Romance does have a somewhat synthetic feel, most likely caused by the coconut and musk which reminds me of an air freshner.
I’m actually a fan of this fragrance’s simplicity. While personally I seek more complex and unique scents for my wardrobe, I can see why this may appeal to the younger crowd or those just getting interested in fragrances.
The lasting strength is very good and I don’t doubt that this fragrance has been a popular sell, however I do disagree with the price which is a very costly $70 Australian dollars, (and that’s the discounted price).

my sister in law, it smells very

I could smell the coconutty tuberose from the very start. This reminds me a lot of Christian Dior DiorStar (although DiorStar is slightly nicer). Its sweet and frutiy but these notes are underscored by the coco-tuberose, which adds a nutty-musky warmth to the scent, and this is what the drydown is like too, but with some amber too. It’s nice and not too teeny (which I find some of Sui’s scents to be), but I have stockpiled DiorStar so I don’t really need one of these.

For me it smells pretty similar to eclat arperge. Sour with some ( little) sweetness. Like it.

it looks cheap because of the plastic top, but its fresh and sweet though a bit artificial,

I bought this perfume by accident (I was supposed to get the first Secret Wish) and today is the first time I’ve worn it.
It smells really unique, but not totally in a good way. I had a bathroom air freshener that smelt exactly like that when I was a kid. So to me it smells cheap.
It gets much much better after about 20 mins, because then the smell is gone and what’s left is a bit of coconut-musky smell…

I’m not saying that it smells better than Secret Wish, it’s just really different! Inital first spray didn’t leave such a great impression but when you wait for about 15 minutes later it really evolves into something elegant, warm and calming. I’d say that Magic Romance is the elder, more gentle, and kindhearted sister to the enchanting little forest nymph Secret Wish. This stuff smells nothing like Light Blue, so just that fact makes it pretty unique. Personally, I believe that the lasting power isn’t too great but that’s ok bc it’s suppose to happen to light scents.. I’m just so glad it’s not headache inducing!

I usually don´t like these kind of perfumes, I use to find them to discrete and anonymus. But this one i really likes. The topnote is sweet and tender, and the basenote is very nice, varm and relaxing. On me it smells a bit of liqorice in the end…
