It is sweet but I’m in a sweet mood today so I don’t care…I’m wearing it.

It reminds me synthetic vanilla. Strawberry. Fruity. Warm. There is something unpleasant. Perhaps soap or some synthetic mixed with fruits and by that destroying their natural smell. Too synthetic to be gourmand. With time becomes even more soapy.

Cheap, and not cheerful. Lingering pong of a freshly cleaned high school toilet block.
Annoying, headache endusing, this scent was something I was glad faded quickly and never used again.
    Its not sweet or floral.
Like a loud, giggling teenage girl, its just plain annoying.
Gave my used only twice bottle away to a relative who lives in a different city. I dont want this anywhere near me!

Delicious, girly scent, not too sweet.
    Lovely bottle !

In my opinion, this is a fragrance for teenage girls, too sweet otherwise

I like this scent but it is something i will not repurchase. The scent is too young in my opinion, like someone who’s around 14-15 yrs old can rock this. It projects candy sweet and bubblegummy for me. Very synthetic and shampoo-iy. 60% strawberry and 40% pineapple

I’m quite surprise with this one. For such inexpensive perfume, it is actually quite a good perfume. Sillage is quite bad though.

I actually really like this scent for what it is. It is strawberry / apple / sweet perfume. It is somewhat juvenile and simple, but I like that about it! it reminds me of a bundle of un-burned strawberry incense sticks! I usually spray 8-10 times and it is not overbearing and lasts all day! You can afford to spray that much when the perfume costs under $10!

Smells like sweet strawberries with floral notes , and no proper base to support it. Not recommended.

  10. :

This is a review based on a sample from the magazine so cannot test longevity or sillage.
Initially the main scent I get from this is red berries. Raspberries I thought. (It says strawberry on here and apple in the picture – but pineapple in the description! I could detect the pineapple when I thought about it.not so much apple).
The strong sweet berry scent lingers along with a sweet scent that I think of as sugar, or the note tgat was classed as marshmallows in another perfume (vera wang pink princess). Also a powdery scent.
I’m surprised I’m saying this but it is too sweet. I like sweet scents and fruity ones. In fact I was pretty sure that I would like this a lot before trying it from what’s in it. I couldn’t make up my mind whether I liked it or not but found it too much in the end and wouldnt buy it.
Id say this was a scent for young people -early teens at latest, although I wouldnt want to give a perfume to someone younger really (bodysprays but not perfumes. ..even if its inexpensive). I suppose the bottle looks like its aimed at young people (I’m 30) and yes, I would associate the fragrance with the colour pink.

Secret Fantasy is a really sweet perfume. smells like berries, and is milky and creamy sometimes I smell musk, I really like it for everyday wear. The sillage and longevity are poor but the bottle is so small I can carry it with me, and reapply whenever I feel like it.
PD I layer this with Bath and Body Works “Warm vanilla sugar” and it makes a huge difference, it smells so much better

Secrets to Keep/ Secret Fantasy is an innocent, youthful, upbeat fragrance. It has sweet fruits, but also a light, grounding musk, and it lasts quite a long time. Perfect for people who want to smell energetic and approachable without turning to common citrus-aquatic-chemical bombs. It is absolutely worth what I bought it for, and superior to other store-bought perfumes in that price range. The bottle is cute in it’s bubble-y shape, which begs your palm to cradle it, and in its semi-opaque and lightly shimmery blossom-pink.

I smelled this simply because my friend had a bottle of it. I knew what I was in for and I wasn’t wrong – sweet, strawberry sweet, candy, candyfloss but once the fruit dies down it’s quite musky with freesia and sandalwood. Not completely terrible and it was quite long lasting I could smell it for ages.

It actually smells for me just like sweet tarts! I love it for that, and that soury note makes it so lovely and candy-like 😉

    Very fruity, clean and fresh
    A perfect all seasons scent

The color of the bottle suits the fragrance perfectly. I liked this scent a lot this summer. If I put it on in front of my friends, they would be enchanted by the design of the bottle as well as the aroma it creates in the beginning. It was an everyday girly vapour completed by cute floral dresses, lace, curly hair…
    Romantic cotton candy.
    Pretty good, Avon!

Reminds me of Bath and Body Works Honey Sweetheart. I like it. I smell lots of pineapple and strawberry.
I noticed people said it doesn’t last but it does on me. Projects well too. I may just catch a whiff from time to time, but judging by the comments other people can smell it. It’s not complicated or unique but a nice casual perfume for all ages. Very young at heart.

  18. :

I liked it in the begining but now I find the smell very chemical or synthetic. It’s not horrible, but I can only apply the tiniest amount or else I’ll get overwhelmed.

  19. :

If it had a honey note, to me, it would smell like Fame. I was shocked at how small the bottle was! I do like it though because it’s sweet and playful.

Very sweet and creamy. It smells like a hair conditioner. It’s good when you don’t have any money.

I love the smell of this perfume but it doesn’t last smells fruity delicious and when i spray it i love it but 20 minutes later i’m not happy cause i can’t tell that i have sprayed anything

This is a dead ringer for BBW Honey Sweetheart. Layer the two. It really helps with projection.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

This. Smells nothing like Fantasy. It is a simple floral fruity scent. No candy, noo chocolate . I do not know how anyone could compare the two.
I like it. I think it is nice. It is a simple though unimaginative scent. Good for a day around the house . Great for a young girl too, as it is not some supersexy vixen juice.
In the US we call it Secrets to Keep. It doesn’t project well so people may think it does not last. It does , for hours and hours.

I am officially convinced that Avon’s Secret Fantasy and Secrets To Keep are the same fragrance, just different bottles. Secrets To Keep is the Secret Fantasy bottle just without the title on it. Avon fragrances are cheap so there’s really no “high quality” here and it disappears in about 15 minutes, honestly it’s to be expected so I am not disappointed. It’s sweet and young, like a synthetic strawberry and some sandalwood. It’s good to throw in your bag on the go, but nothing fancy!

  28. :

    5 out of 5

it smells like miss sixty elixir but much better. i also like it better than britney spears fantasy. it probably suits women in their early 20s

  29. :

    3 out of 5

I seriously dislike how they’ve tried to make Secret Fantasy their own version of Britney Spears, “Fantasy”. It’s not like the name’s a dead give away or anything.. Personally, I find the fragrance very cheap, unoriginal.. It doesn’t take me to that “special place” like a perfume should. I don’t feel good wearing it. I can’t even give a true description of what it smells like on skin, because on me it disappears instantly. And that’s with 12 sprays. I’m glad it was given as a gift – because I wouldn’t want to waste my money.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

Pure guilty pleasure! Costing only $3 a pop it was a no-brainer purchase for me. The fragrance itself is pretty generic but far from boring. It is a bright fruity sweetness that makes me happy everytime I wear it. As with all Avon fragrances, this one might not last so long so a generous application might help to prolong its longevity. Sillage is moderate so it can be used as an everyday scent. Cute, simple bottle and I love that it fits so well in my hands. All in all a delightful thing and a fair exchange for the little changes I have under my couch! Sure, it is not unique or a legend in the manner of Chanel no. 5, but what really matters is the feeling it evokes. It is a simple, uncomplicated joy in a bottle made for the young at heart.

Does anyone knows if this perfume has chanched name or bottle? Because i have an Avon perfume that looks the same, minus that is sais “Secret Fantasy” on the bottle. It is suppose to be named “Avon Secrets to Keep” and it smells just like Fantasy by Britney Spears plus a little more fruit. Smells good ofc, but i just want to know wich perfume it is that i have.
    Forgot to add the perfumenotes:
“A dreamy blend of fruits and florals. Whispers of sweet apple and juicy strawberry with a passionate heart of jasmine, white musk and warm sandalwood”

This sweetie opens up with a fruit punch up the nose! Red Berries and Pineapple now waft about me almost magically lifting my mood! It is early morning and this scent is simply perfect for Spring days at home or shopping. Once the Tang-like fruit notes have settled, a dreamy note emerges : lilac.. Then creamy jasmine moves in giving the fragrance a more opulent vibe. I love that it is not too musky- for me it would ruin the ‘rock candy’ effect. (yes, I am gourmand to the core!). I can now smell the soft woodsy notes and the warm amber peaking through the red cherries and pineaples. Love that the fruit notes remain through all the composition. It does remind me of Britney Spears’ Fantasy but mixed with NYC ( the fruit punch fume by Sarah Jessica Parker.) It is less sweet to me, not as heavy (chocolate notes absent) and quite playful. It puts a smile on my face and for that I give it a 9! Longevity is surprising on me! Love to layer it with Cancan, Pure Seduction’ Body Shop Strawberry, and many Bath and Body works scents. A perfect waker-upper that sings with zesty fruit notes : shall get the whole line. (am I the only one to detect a note similar to ‘red lady apple’?: it enchants me!).

I gave this perfume away to my 8 year old sister, very fruity and pleasant but not for women over the age of 16 it has a barbie feel to it. Rather cheap scent. perfect gift for someone in there early teenage years. Smells of candy is non threatening but very boring it has no personality or character about it.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Oh yes. I forgot. This also has a very pleasant “candy” smell on me. Love it much!

  36. :

A very girlie fragrance. It has a nice sweet smell without causing a headache like lots of other “sweet” perfumes has done before to me. This was a blind buy and I was pleasantly surprised. Plus my husband always gives me compliments when I wear it. Will definitely buy this one again.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

Just to clarify, Secret Fantasy and Secrets to Keep are not the same perfume. They don’t even have the same notes. Secret Fantasy is described as “A sweet blend of innocent red fruits, pineapple, feminine jasmine, lilac, velvety white musk, amber and warm sandalwood.” Secrets to Keep is described as “A dreamy blend of fruits and florals. Whispers of sweet apple and juicy strawberry with a passionate heart of jasmine.” They are similar, yes, but they are not the same perfume. I am an Avon Representative, I own Secrets to Keep, and there is definitely no pineapple in it. As for the argument that the bottles are the same, all of the bottles in the “Secrets” line are similar, and the differences between them are negligible. Hope this helps to clear up some of the confusion. 🙂

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Bought it, but I was not impressed. Really sweet fragrance, similar to Britney’s Fantasy, only it has the freshness from the pineapple. Sillage is moderate and longetivity is about 4 hours which is fine for the price.
BUT! It was the first time when I felt grown up for a fragrance if you know what I mean. Okay, it is sweet, nice, creamy, but it just isn’t enough. It absolutely a girly scent, and I need more matureness!
If you like fruity-gourmand scents, give it a try! Nice, sweet, fruity perfume!

  39. :

Is this the same as ‘Secrets to Keep’? I’m confused by all the similar names and identical bottles. ‘secrets to Keep’ is not in this database and I’ve never seen secret fantasy in a catalogue…US vs foreign market?

  40. :

    3 out of 5

I bought this because I found the bottle so damn cute, not expecting much for the $10 price tag but lo and behold! This little baby is a DYNAMITE. Spritzed myself before swimming and when I emerged from the pool an hour later, people around me could still smell it on me! Now THAT’S what I call longevity & sillage! Chlorine had nothing on this gem! 😀

  41. :

My sister wear it. She love it, but for me it nothing special 🙂 so boring!

  42. :

    4 out of 5

i bought this one because of tempting notes, but bad luck, on my skin it smells just disgusting. i use it as air freshener 😀

  43. :

    3 out of 5

A product replacement brought me here, and I can’t quite make my mind up about it. It initially smells quite sweet and fruity, but am getting a kind of ‘fly spray’ scent in the dry down. Not pleasant. But on the up side, it doesn’t last very long, so mistakes can soon be got rid of!

  44. :

I have two bottles of this for swap, one bottle is full and the other is half full. It’s the U.S. version called “Secrets to Keep”. PM me if you’re interested. 🙂

fresh ripened red berries, tart pineapple and sweet white flowers, that about sums it up for this feminine and fresh perfume that is great for everyday use. it’s bright and happy and thats what today’s winter chill needs. lasting power isn’t the greatest, but the price is more than right so i can spray away. i like it.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

Perfect for every day but that is mostly because it is weak. I agree with the notes listed above but it does this crazy wacky metamorphosis once on my skin…all I can smell are those little green and white spearmint candies. Odd, but I’m okay with it.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I got this as a gift the other day. Surprisingly i adore it! It reminds me of more expensive perfumes that i have used before. Its fun, girly and sweet. I agree that its not a grown womans fragrance but none the less i cant stop spaying some on every time i glance at it =)
    Update – June 6th 2013
I’m half way through my second bottle and i think i will soon be ordering my 3rd =) Who knew i could fall head over heels for this little fruity bomb?! =)

I own this perfume, it was a blind buy…It is okay it is very fruity with a very little sweetness if you really smell it. It is quite strong when you smell it from the bottle but it gets more soft, sweet, fruity as it sets in. It is okay I prefer warm/soft/cozy sweet spicy perfumes not overpowering but stays on long and noticeable. It doesn’t last long at all on me maybe 30 mins. I am not saying it is a terrible perfume It just isn’t my kind of taste…But that’s okay 🙂 I am going to give my bottle of Secret Fantasy to my sister for Christmas it is basically full. She loves the scent. At least I know that perfume won’t go to waste… It would make good summer perfume it is jasmine flower scent, soft, sweet, fruity.
(If you never purchased this perfume and thinking about purchasing it, I hope it is what you are looking for and are enjoying and are satisfied with it…Hope my review helped someone)

I just got this for my birthday and I like how it’s so sweet, fruity and soft! A very summery, daily scent.
It doesn’t last very long though, and the initial spray is very alcoholic smelling.

nothing new, it’s not bad but i think it’s for teenagers.. oh and it doesn’t last AT ALL! it fades really fast.

In the US this is called Secrets to Keep. I got a sample and it smells really nice. I will review better when my fb gets here.
There is NOTHING remotely similar to BS Fantasy in this perfume. There is nothing gourmand about it. It is light and soft. Sweet but not cloying. Its a great everyday fragrance. Secret Fantasy is aimed at younger girls. But like any perfume, it is a matter of preference.
I will review this better when my fb gets here and I get a few days wear under my belt.

Avon’s Secret Fantasy could easily be the love child of Burberry Brit Sheer and Britney’s Fantasy. It really exhibits characteristics of both those scents.
It starts out with a burst of fruity pineapple, the pineapple lingering for quite a while, even as the floral notes emerge.
The dry down is sweet and musky, and, unfortunately, a little synthetic.
I find that the fragrance gets progressively sweeter through its development, but the fruity tang keeps it from becoming too cloying or headache-inducing.
Unfortunately there is a note in this that bothers me. It’s a strange, generic cleaning product note that persists throughout. In winter though, I feel that Secret Fantasy is still wearable in spite of that.
I did find that the sillage is pretty much non-existent and the lasting power is very poor. It wears more like a body mist than an EDT.
Secret Fantasy is not particularly original or different from many in this genre. But in its favor, it’s pleasant enough and very inexpensive.

  61. :

This smells like pure candy on me! I don’t get the comparison to fantasy, to me there is no richness, no devine white chocolate smell, it’s just sweet candy and some sweet fruit notes. It’s a pleasant scent, but when it runs out, I wont buy again.

  62. :

    I’m wearing this now.
I do love a sweet scent like Harajuku Lovers and Pink Sugar but I’m finding this one a bit sickly. It’s VERY sweet and gourmand.
It IS nice but in my 30’s I’m feeling slightly old for this perfume.
I would wear it again but I’d have to be in the right mood.
    It suits the sunshine.

bout the bottle, the design n color r amazing but it’s tooooo small :S

still cant judge on long. and sil.

I like sweet candy yummy fragrances, but to me it’s not tasty. It’s just too sugar-candy-like. Nothing special.

  70. :

    3 out of 5

A very candy-sweet fruity scent. It’s a clone of so many other similar fragrances out there. It does smell yummy but I disagree that only the very young should wear it. If you like it, you should wear it, even if you don’t fall into the age category. There’s no reason women of a certain age should feel they can’t wear whatever fragrance they’re attracted to.

  71. :

A typical girly teenage girls scent. I love it and I would buy it for everyday use in the office as it is inexpensive.

  72. :

    3 out of 5

This is fresh and sweet. To me it smells like a mix of a watermelon with candy sweets. I agree that it could as well be an Escada summer scent. This is for everyone who likes playful floral-fruity scents.
PS: After a while the pineapple comes out nicely on me. It reminds me of JLo Live Luxe in the drydown, just with a bit more staying power. I find it still juicy and quite nice.
The staying power only lasts around 3 hours

I just bought this perfume and now I can not stop smelling it and seeing the bottle, which is beautiful!
The buy here in Mexico in an AVON shop, and between all they had, really struck me this bottle, looks like AGENT PROVOCATEUR and THE BLACK XS FOR HER, it is super nice, the key that hangs is an insurance , which is pulled to open the perfume, I tried it and OH SURPRISE! Is very similar to FANTASY OF BRITNEY SPEARS! the color is similar too, I inmediatly purchase it for about 10 dollars. Fairly inexpensive and does not smell anything cheap, smells delicious and is the most beautiful bottle of my shelf (I´m in love!!!), I recommend this for the ladies! Look for it and you will not regret!

    OPINION LATINA!!

SECRET FANTASY is pure berry on first application -the different notes all mingle together to be sure of what they’re meant to be. Raspberry and redcurrant maybe? Whilst I can’t outright distinguish the pineapple, I can tell there is a sweet-but-tangy note that is a bit separate from the berries.
The floral notes in SECRET FANTASY are all mild, creamy and a bit watery; yet still easier to pick apart in comparison to the fruit notes. The jasmine is the key note and is the first to emerge from the lingering fruit notes. I’m sure that there is peony or rose in here too, because of the creamy powdery undercurrent to the fragrance. I like the scent of lilacs, so I was disappointed by how mild and blink-and-you’ll-miss-it it is on me here.
After a few short hours everything fades away into the usual Avon perfume base; a vanilla tinged, woody base. A little bit of jasmine seeps down into the base, making the most out of the creamy sandalwood, but everything still seems quite flat after the loud notes in the opening.
It’s an Avon mass market release and it’s a EDT concentration, so no prises for guessing that the lasting power isn’t anything to shout about; it’s got four hours maximum on me.
I first received my bottle in winter and I wasn’t overwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong; I liked it, but the EDT concentration doesn’t work with my body chemistry; I can’t smell any of the floral notes in colder weather and after an hour I struggle to smell anything at all. So yeah, this is limited to the spring/summer months for me.

I got this perfume for christmas, only just started using it! It smells so yummy and sweet but not headache-y sweet, its just got enough sweetness and enough sandalwood and must to make it approachable, its now one of my faves to wear!

I sprayed three sprays on wrists and one behind neck and initially all I can smell is blackberry, no pineapple or flowers to my nose.
I have only used this so far before bedtime, although it would be appropriate on a weekend daytime, not for work imo.
It is a sweet fragrance which reminds me of some of Britney Spears fantasy line…
However, the silage and longitivity are both good, as when I wake up in the morning I can still smell traces of warm woods.
Overall I like it for what it is:- A reasonably priced fun fruity scent for casual day use, any season not just summer. As a great feel good pick me up for the winter months.

I acctually like this perfume. Not much fan of Avon perfumes but this acctually is a friendly, happy scent which makes you feel good when you put it on.
Cheap and sweet!Good for me to cheer me up when the sky is grey!

I’m usually into sweet perfumes but Secret Fantasy is too much even for me. Extra sweet fruity bubblegum bursted out when I opened my tester and it’s very synthetic fructose. It stays sugary sweet all the way.
This fragrance would be suitable only for kids and teens, I couldn’t imagine any woman wearing this. But any girl who loves to chew colorful chewing gum and blow poping bubbles could wear Secret Fantasy proudly.

this thing is daily candy parfume!
its really cheap so you can use plenty in the morning.
it can be used by young adults and teens but after age 30 it wont fit to user

Not bad. Exactly floral-fruity. Sweet and worm, but yet too much pineapple for me. Staying power – 3 hours till now, but it’s fading away.Suitable for teens. Won’t buy it myself.
