This is so much lighter than I imagined it would be after such an appealing description! Unlike Marianne for me the cedar took centre stage, drowning out most of the composition as it dried. I would have loved a bit more spice to shine through and especially the green mandarin which was so realistically sweet but woefully brief. Amazing longevity, 12+ hours of intimate scent. I strongly feel this is one I may revisit in time.

I had high expectations, but the anise note comes to the top and stays there. It is a note that doesn’t work for me.But if it did, I think i would like this perfume very much. I have had it on for about 1 hr and can still smell it, very light, close to the skin.
