I really enjoy Sasha’s cyclamen aldehyde based composition – dry and herbal with a mandarin top. I usually don’t like aldehydes at all, but here it performs more like a dry floral heart ingredient. There is a distinct resemblance to Eau de Rochas Pour Homme though without its strong myrrh drydown.
My EdC splash’s juice is very weak and with a very light amber-musk base. Makes a nice cologne splash (splash plenty on) although one might say it performs more like an aftershave. Thumbs up for the price though – not to mention the hilarious Russian guy in the picture. (I guess that would be Sasha!)

It smells like reclaimed wood treated with paint stripper.

Good old Sasha, nobody wrote a review about you. My father used it many years ago. Classic eau de cologne, but without all that screaming neroli and citruses. As far as I remember, it was not sharp. Green and woodsy notes were dominant.
