Description
The word ” Attar “comes from the Urdu language and means” Fragrance Divine “, a definition which stresses the power of the magician in his wake. Formerly took the name of “Ittar” which in Arabic means “Heavenly Fragrance”.
According to legend, the birth of ‘ Attar is due to an accidental event. One day, the Persian Queen Nour-Dijhan, walking among the streams of the imperial garden, he noticed a veil fat floating on the water at the point where they drop thousands of roses. After collecting a few drops of that liquid gold with a peacock feather and it smelled, the queen was enchanted by what he called heavenly scent. Because of the sharp fall had been a natural process of distillation, which had brought to the surface the essence of the rose and gave birth to the first Attar of Rose. L ‘ Attar is completely free of alcohol and comes in an oily substance made by the soul alone, and only smelling extracted from natural raw materials, according to ancient procedures for processing.

this is the real deal. It is nice to sometimes tweak a fragrance. Its smooth creamy sandal.
Upon application a hay like scent comes forth. after that its very beautiful sandalwood. something real nice. great and blends with anything and everything it seems.
It will last a long time,price is much more affordable that some other and this is prize choice. usually not available but on request amouage will order it. Only such a small tiny amount is needed.

I am not a sandalwood expert (never having smelled the real Mysore variety) but, this is one of the best sandalwood scents I have smelled! Not a complicated scent but, as promised, it is a gorgeous sandalwood scent. It has a true creamy milkiness that is almost sweet. As with most attars, the sillage is low but, it keeps going and going. You will not be able to stop sniffing this beauty. What all sandalwood scents should smell like! This is usually only available from the Oman Amouage boutiques but, I got mine in Dubai as a special order.

They also do a plain (Bulgarian Damascena) Rose attar – mine (white box, not the more expensive Taifi Rose) is exceptionally lovely if you like rose and very long-lasting indeed, one of those which perfume coats & jumpers delicately but is never overpowering.
