Oh what a wonderful olfactory experience. Just a beautiful fragrance to be worn on a crisp bright warm autumn day.
It opens up with a delightful minty herbal note which projects and lasts for a good 3 to 4 hrs. And then it takes a mysterious turn where it takes you to musky ambergris note, which I came to find out is the spermwhale intestinal material obtained from the ocean.
For next 6 to 8 hrs I get beach and sea salt and ocean breeze notes and on and on it goes.
Everytime I wear it I always fine a new note that I missed before and I am sure it will give you guys the same pleasure.

I think they need to differentiate between the two bottles sold under this name. I’m usually not one to yell about reformulations, but the clear bottle version I own seems to have far different notes from what’s listed. For example, the far most dominant note I smell is geranium….by far….

For about 10 years, I wore Creed Green Irish Tweed exclusively. It’s the ultimate “green” fragrance, with a lot of sandalwoody smoothness. Then I got olfactory burnout (it happens) and have been searching for another signature fragrance. I found it! Royal Water is a masterpiece!
Per the Official Creed Website, the notes are:
Top notes: Bergamot, lemon, mandarin, verbena, clementine, peppermint
Middle note: Cumin, basil, pepper, pinkberries
    Base note: Ambergris, Tonkin musk
The way the notes unfold is nothing short of captivating. The citrus top notes are sweet and juicy, but it’s a fresh sweet. Fresh fruit and peppermint delights and lifts you up, mood-wise.
Then, while the citrus is still hanging in there, the spice kicks in, with the basil taking the lead and the other smooth pepper middle notes mixed in perfectly. There’s a sense of proportion in the mid-notes. The effect is both energizing and centering at the same time.
The base is the signature base curve of Creed Ambergris (which is hard to describe — smooth & and rich and, well, smooth) and Tonkin Musk (I’m NOT a musk fan, but this musk is great).
The sum of the parts is absolutely something else. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist! And every time I sniff, I smell a little something different. I’m going to be using Royal Water as my signature scent. For another 10 years? Most Likely! GREAT STUFF, and if you’re careful, you can get the 100% authentic bottles off eBay for more than 1/2 to 2/3 off! Enjoy the experience. Royal Water is a treat!

Judging by the reviews, there are two versions of this fragrance on the market, which I highly doubt. One is citrus/peppermint, other one is with prominent flowery notes. Be it or not, the notes listing on this site is definitely not complete.
The one I tried is with a distinct citrus/lilac/hyacinth combo opening that lasts for at least two hours. Citruses here are not just commonly high pitched – they are very rich and creamy. I even get the vibe of a lemon drop melon, which is fresh, lemony, but mild and creamy.
Only when the drydown hits, floral notes get quenched by a mild peppermint/fern feel that lasts and lasts.
Projection quite good for the first two hours, as a skin scent it remained on my skin for at least another six hours.
My feeling of it is that the opening does have a very sensitive (feminine, if you will) touch, but that it should not be of any issue for a man to wear it.
I knew from the first moment what it reminded me of. I had a (now discontinued) fragrance which was not a clone, but had a striking similarity with Royal Water. That was Gaultier’s Fleur du Male.
This is what that fragrance should have been like.
It had a nice idea of a male floral, but was really badly made, with bunch of harsh, chemical notes just screeching underneath. Similarity of floral notes is there, even the peppermint/fern drydown is similar to what FDM remains smelt like on skin.
Royal water is a quality, classy and mature rendering of that idea, unlike pompous, extroverted and eccentric, as FDM was.

I wore this fragrance just yesterday and, after picking-up cheaply on the discount market a few years ago, it has become one of my favorite Creed’s and a top Summer scent. One of the most underrated fragrances from Creed! I picked-up a bottle on the discount market not expecting much because this one gets little attention (it was cheap) and what a gem this turned out to be. I will be needing another bottle before the Summer is out.
Thanks for the info from some members on the clear versus frosted bottle. I have the frosted bottle and need to get another one soon. I just love that minty-basic-citrus fusion blended with that telltale Creed DNA. Personally, I don’t notice a heavy floral accord with the older formulation, but really interested in putting my nose and comparing both versions. I just hope I’m not disappointed.
I get a solid 7-8 hours out of the older frosted bottle, which is fantastic for a citrus scent on my skin. For example, I have a 500ml flacon of Creed Neroli Sauvage and, while it smells fantastic, it doesn’t last but an hour or two on my skin. I give Royal Water a solid 9/10 but, beware, it is not for everyone. However it is a must try if you enjoy a high-quality citrus-herbal-mint fragrance that performs well in the Summer heat; it is a very refreshing fragrance with a fine gentleman’s edge to it.

I can’t decide if I like this fragrance or not. It has a very sharp and bitter headspace that i’m desperately trying to fall in love with, but just can’t.
I am a huge fan of Juniper when it’s done correctly. However this is sort of an odd use of the note combined with basil and citrus, and the overall delivery is very “tart” for lack of a better term. I have worn it on a few occasions now and felt a little out of place every time i wear it.
Now please don’t get me wrong, this is a very well blended and distinct fragrance and I have nothing truly bad to say about it. It just doesn’t wear like a second skin like almost every single other Creed fragrance I have.

I just put Royal Water in my top 5 for Spring and Summer.
It is in my top 2 fresh fragrances.
I have some great MFK Neroli fresh fragrances. But Royal Water does fresh with such depth and beauty.
The citruses are lemony, but there arre some fruity oranges, or maybe tangerine; and the citruses make an accord with the green basil, and that’s the main beautiful accord. You get a clear sandalwood but it doesn’t weigh down the frag, just gives it some depth. Then comes a good dose of Creed’s signature ambergris, very nice here.
I think the musk, juniper berries and mint are the 3 weakest notes, but they are very nice nuances.
This fragrance makes you feel good and optimistic on a cool Spring morning. I think it’s best for Spring. It’s not sparkling fresh for really hot Summer days, but great for Summer mornings and evenings.
Royal Water is so clean, fresh, and natural; the highest quality notes, and good performance overall. It may have an unlisted magnolia floral note. It may just feel like it could have a subtle floral note. It does not lean feminine at all, slightly masculine or gender neutral.
    Rating: 10/10 (citrus genre)

Im not sure why this doesn’t get much love in the community but I think its awesome. This is a sleeper fragrance you wont smell on everyone. Beautiful natural fresh citrus. Men and women can pull this off. Very safe. Compliment getter for sure.

Very simple, safe and non offensive creed.
Authentic citrus musk with light touch of millesime signature ambergris base.
Main advantage is the excellent longevity. Still beautiful and I like it but not in my creeds top 5.

A lovely zesty lemony, citrusy (very small hint of sweetness) type of fragrance that is reminiscent of Virgin Island Water less the sweet-coconut, lime distinction-this very much so has Creed’s DNA.
Royal Water is a nice, unobtrusive fragrance that’s sharp without the sting or bite that some pungent fragrances carry…I’m looking at you Neroli Sauvage LOL!!! I think this comes off very masculine, however borders the unisex fence.
Overall, a nice fragrance and is probably the reason I saw a 1.0oz {good deal} and purchased right away. This fragrance has been in my wardrobe for a number of years and will definitely be in my wardrobe for many years to come!

  16. :

This starts with very zesty citrus notes and in heart notes it’s very green, very very green notes and I can easily detects marijuana and it last till the Base notes. I am afraid I can’t take a risk to smell like marijuana in office or in social gathering.

So I was laying down my review of bottega venetta aromatique and found myself drawing some comparison to royal water – now realizing I never left my mark on royal water, so what the hell. Royal water doesn’t get talked about too often in the forums or on YouTube – and rightfully so, I suppose. It doesn’t have a real wow factor to it. It’s not “unmistakably masculine” – nor does it “lean feminine” – this, in and of itself, is just a pleasant smell that doesn’t conform to our pre-determined gender constructs. That’s the scenic route for saying it’s unisex.
With that said, I find the following characteristics in royal water:
    Powdery
    Zesty
    Clean
    Musky
    Soft
    Light
It really is an enjoyable fragrance. I wouldn’t go so far to say it’s one of the best or anything like that – but it certainly smells nice and it seems fairly easy to wear. At the same time, it’s slightly more intriguing because it doesn’t have that typical “creed vibe”. Overall a nice scent that’s wearable for males and females.

. I know I am wearing authentic Royal Water- Creed sent me a sample. The opening- Lemon/ Marijuana. The dry down… Obnoxious soap. SUPER strong soap. I have no idea why I thought you needed me to clarify “obnoxious soap”.

It reminds me of my grandma?
-citrus blast with a flower vibe
    -soapy

  20. :

    3 out of 5

Soo this opens with a citrus fresh blast, but has a very vintage soapy feel to it.. not sure if that’s the inclusion of the mint. I’ve worn this for the past week and I’ve enjoyed it. It’s a nice fragrance and it does feel very fresh.. perfect for when you’ve just got out of the shower. It really reminds me of something.. but I just can’t put my finger on it.. perhaps a baby product.
Performance-wise, it has good longevity on the creed scale, perhaps 5-6 hours. Sillage and projection wasn’t great. I could smell it around me, but a couple of girls at work that I asked an opinion both said they couldn’t detect it until they leant into my neck. This was around 2 hours after application.
Overall it’s not going to stop people in their tracks and get them asking what you’re wearing. But it’s a good harmless everyday soapy scent.

Open your new Creed box and take out the bottle.
Yes, you now hold THE most underrated Creed product on the market. And perhaps one of the best.
Berry, peppermint and basil jubilation with a polished elegant musk finish is what you can look forward to as you spray this absolute gem on yourself. I mean this juice is so fabulous that I am almost embarrassed to write this review 20 years after its release.
    Well…better late then never.
The longevity and silage are incredible. The sophistication of this fragrance is one of a kind. You need no more than 3 sprays and you are on your way all day.
Royal Water evokes power, strength and independence without being pushy or cocky. I prefer this on a woman who wants to make her mark in this world. It has modern traits but roots itself in nobility.
    Divine.

Surprisingly good. Whoever said this is “Bois du Portugal Light” really gave it the perfect description. This is a fairly light citrus scent, but it’s actually quite substantial. The “citrus infusion” as they describe it, has some heft. It comes across vibrant, tart, and almost spicy, in the same manner that Bois du Portugal is spicy. I don’t find this feminine in the least, in fact it plays out like a masculine citrus cologne on my skin and has a familiar, traditional smell. Royal Water is aromatic, and there’s something of a bitter/sweet contrast at play in it as well, as the Juniper berries provide a gin-like kick. Creed’s coveted ambergris base is also in full force here, blended into a comfortable, musky foundation which may in fact be the best part of Royal Water. It’s not what you notice at first, but it provides the perfect masculine base for the other notes to play-out on. Royal Water isn’t a frivolous or carefree scent–there’s a certain maturity associated with its traditional citrus cologne slant–but it’s still easy to wear since everything works so well together, and it comes off feeling classic rather than dated. Either way, it’s a solid choice for a guy, young or old, and can be worn leisurely as if just thrown on while heading out the door, or more formally, as if deliberately matching a tux. Overall, I like it, and think it should give Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo and Chanel Pour Monsieur a run for their money over the next few months. Performance is solid. Thumbs up.

Don’t laugh too hard when you read this. But this reminds me of a high grade version of paramibebe baby colonia! It is fresh and invigorating like the scent details stated. The fragrance has this traditional aspect of a “cologne” smell. As in the scent not the concentration. I really do love the aroma. It brings back memories. It’s a very common practice in spanish families homes to put the scented water on a baby after they had a bath.
So this is basically that scent to me. Just amplified with higher quality ingredients. It last almost to the 8hr mark but within the 1st hour it was in a 2in projection range.
I guess this could be a classy office scent that would uplift and bring back childhood memories. Or even just a casual fragrance.
I love the smell i just don’t want to smell like a baby all day. And if i did. I could get “P.M.B” for $10 and its 200ml.
All in all. It was just a fun sampling session.

I really like this fragrance, it is a quality fresh simple scent and one of the best creed’s fragrances. I don’t agree with most of the YouTube reviewers opinion and I don’t understand why they hate it that much. Personally i highly recommend it for summer over many other “cheaper hyped” fragrances like invictus aqua, versace pour homme…

Royal Water is a Masterpiece. A Coup de Gras for the longing senses.
They (Creed) have an innate ability to create a facsimile of particular and isolated plant constituents, quite unlike that one might even be familiar with; and then go even further by ‘printing’ just one aspect of that characteristic.
It is an extraordinary feat of chemistry; and not something that can be accurately created synthetically. These elements are then combined into even more extraordinary combinations, leaving one (this one, anyway) in a state of greedily confused satisfaction that only longs for more of something it can’t figure out.
Royal water certainly lives up to it’s title, it is so delicate and so fresh. Not a broadcasting fragrance, but why would it be? This is the scent you’d catch up close from the sphinx’s mouth as it spun yet another seemingly impossible riddle. It is ethereal and transcendental. It is not of the world of men. It is the type of scent you’d have a memory of waking from a dream where you’d experienced real love, total peace and profound ecstasy.
This fragrance is a secret that has been shared and it is certainly worth the effort of keeping it just so.

    Creed Royal Water…
This is a very refined and gentlemanly scent. When I first wore this one, I was reminded of another classic fragrance that I really love. That fragrance is Acqua Di Parma Colonia. These two don’t really smell alike per se, but their function and style is very similar. Both are very bright, bitter, citrusy fragrances with a big hit of fresh spices (in the case of Royal Water/ADP Colonia, the two exchange fresh basil for rosemary). The ADP has some additional woods, florals and rose, and the Creed has some juniper (gin) notes, but really, both fragrances are dominated by citrus and a freshly picked spice note. As far as I have tested, these two are my favorite among that Citrus/Aromatic Citrus group. Pure refinement for the summertime.
On another note, this is the longest lasting Creed fragrance I own. Maybe my nose is sensitive to this citrus note but this lasts all work day and still projects into the evening with 3-4 sprays. If I compare the longevity to that of the ADP, this one is far superior. I prefer the scent of the ADP to Royal water, but this is a beast.

    Bought a decant
Not a fragrance for me but
when just sprayed, its a citrus water scent. After the basil/mint (mostly basil) takes over the scent.
Personally, I find it annoying for a young person, this is more a more mature one
    Versatile as well
So, no rating for this one not because its a bad scent, but mostly because I was so annoyed of the basil in this fragrances I tried to wash it off,. still present after a shower 10hrs after.. (good quality and longevity)
    a Pass for me.
Try it, you’ll know if it fits to you

  29. :

This is maybe my favorite fragrance of all time.
There aren’t a lot of notes in this one, but they’re perfectly blended and there’s a certain beauty in its simplicity. Nothing about this scent smells synthetic. To me, this one smells like someone went out to their garden and picked some fresh basil and mint, went inside, zested some lemons and grapefruits, then squeezed all that into a bottle. It starts with an effervescent blast of tart citrus, cool mint, and sweet basil, then dries down into a complex slightly floral, peppery, sweet citrus. Absolutely outstanding fragrance.
I love this one so much, I made a cocktail inspired by it. The Royal Smash:
Muddle 3 mint leaves and 3 basil leaves in a mixing glass. Add ice. Add:
    1 oz Absolut Citron vodka
    1/2 oz simple syrup
    1 oz Bombay Sapphire gin
1/2 oz fresh squeezed yuzu juice (you can substitute yellow grapefruit)
    2 dashes of lime bitters
Shake, strain over ice, garnish with a lemon twist. Serve in a rocks glass.
Performace-wise, this one is somewhat subtle. It doesn’t have huge projection, but it projects well enough. Longevity is short-moderate, the only real downside. It can be worn in just about any setting, for just about any occasion.
9.5/10. Flawless scent, but longevity issues take it down a half point.

exudes the same mature vibe as pour monsieur but in a smoother way. a classy, classy fragrance by creed. i do get the sharp opening but only for a short while, the rest are the beautiful concoctions of basil, juniper berries and musk. ambergris is strong in this one towards the end, as it is in MI.

Manly, just left the barbershop with a fresh cut and shave out of the shower type of fragrance. To me this beats all other barbershop scents, by a little. Creed just does things better. Thankfully my wife loves this even more than I do, making it easy for me to pull the trigger. I just had a daughter so this would be a great scent for her to know me by. This scent just screams DADDY

  35. :

Royal Water is an extremely beautiful skin scent that lasts only 4 hours on my skin. It is so well composed that I do not smell any one note above the others and everything blends really harmoniously. I typically wear florientals but my heart has been singing with glee for more clear and herbal concoctions (hence why I’m sampling my boyfriends’ stash lately). The beginning can have a serious aftershave feel but 10 minutes later the lovely emerges. The freshness of the citruses, juniper, basil and mint are so clean but then there are incredibly surprising facets of smokiness. It may be the ambergris that gives it a very faint almost cigarette smoke feel. Have you ever been near someone that smells good but there are traces of scent that let you know they smoke or that they were near a smoker. It’s that lingering smoke mingled with their goodness. I don’t smoke cigarettes but I find the smell of one lit outside incredibly appealing. It is so reminiscent of my childhood.
Royal water is a hot summer day and I am playing in the pool wishing to be a mermaid. I want to see how many flips I can do in a row and I get a little breath of air after each flip so that I can keep the dizzying rotations going. My skin is warm, sun-baked & chlorinated. Parents are relaxing on the patio with a spot of gin and the faint waft of a cigarette in the background.
All of this happens so close to the skin – never radiating too far. Royal water is reminiscent gorgeousness to me.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Perhaps the classiest of the Creeds, this one is understated, refined and relaxed. I see it as a counterpart to Royal Mayfair, with this being a bit more casual and Royal Mayfair more formal.
Citrus, cool mint, juniper berries and basil combine for something refreshing, green, slightly tart and quite summery. I’ve had lemonade before that had mint and/or thyme in it, etc. and this kind of reminds me of that in a way. The same kind of vibe, moreso than one being the exact sensory equivalent of the other.
It develops a bit of soapiness about midway, but like most “soapies” the soap smell is at skin level only (ie: sniffing your wrist) so it doesn’t project that way.
It does project though. This one is quite deceptive. You’ll think it’s down to close skin or even vanished, yet others will smell it easily at arms length.
There are comparisons I see to Clive Christian 1872. I own both, and they smell nothing alike. They could be used the same way, for the same occasions, that is where they would be similar.
Edit: I see its CC 1872 Women. I haven’t smelled the womens version.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Surprisingly, this is Creeds best performing freshie on me. Easily get 8 hours longevity in Houston’s summer heat with above average projection, consistently. If you want to put it in reductionist terms, this smells like lemon water with the traditional Creed ambergris/musk drydown. Great stuff. However, it doesn’t smell particularly remarkable. Just call it a good take on a Summer citrus scent for men over 25 (although someone younger could pull it off). It pales in comparison on ‘wow factor’ or originality with the house’s Silver Mountain Water offering — which is delicate, fleeting, but oh-so crisp. Millesime Imperial should strictly be off-limits when it’s over 90 degrees out and the humidity is through the roof. MI makes for an excellent spring scent here down south, but it becomes cloying and unsettled in the summer. Now as for Erolfa… Erolfa has a squeaky clean blue ocean quality to it, almost Windex-like. It isn’t particularly remarkable, and I’d opt for Royal Water over Erolfa, especially considering the former can be found for a lot less online.
This won’t conjure images of silver mountains or beach getaways, but it makes for a well performing office scent for those who want to go a step above the Acqua di Gios out there. Perhaps a more utilitarian offering from the house.

Brilliant. Such a fresh clean crisp fragrance. If only performance was really good, Creed could have captured the market with all its scents. Bright juicy citrus with ambergris musk drydown. I immediately ordered 2 75mls testers of this. Loved it.

Just sampled this guy at the creed counter. First thing that came to mind was clive christian 1872. Smells clean, fresh, soapy, bit woody! Great overall. Cant comment on anything else, projection, silage etc…im gonna ask for a sample and re test another day!!

Fresh, clean and quite harsh, Royal Water is very reminiscent of a strong laundry detergent or cleaning chemical. If I were to name a fragrance that is somewhat similar, I’d say CLEAN Shower Fresh for Men is in that realm. Even though it may sound bad, I can also understand the connection of urinal cakes or truck stop dispenser soap.
This isn’t a typical Creed fragrance and for what it is, it’s way overpriced. Still, I’m a fan of this type of fragrance. Since I wrote my original review of this and have now revised it with this edit, admittedly, I’ve added and removed it from my want list a number of times. If I could obtain this in a trade for a a fragrance that I own and am so-so about or found it at a very deeply discounted price somewhere, I’d probably pick one up but otherwise, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get one.
Projection, for me, is well above average and longevity is average.

The outfit I imagine that fits this fragrance is boyfriend jeans and a button up top;or a boda skins leather jacket with it.The first strong scent for the first spritz is a sharp citrus smell. Then it turns into a basil and citrus scent. The perfume lasted about 3 hours on me but sits very close to the skin. It’s a like but not a love.I don’t feel it’s worth the price though but it does smell nice.Definitely a unisex fragrance as well.

Silver Mountain Water vs. Royal Water
I ordered 5ml of these two fragrances to compare them. My order came unlabeled, and the colognes smell similar when you test them blindly. However, I did receive new, labeled items.
For me, the opening of Royal Water is better; it’s a nice, clean minty number where SMW, to me, smells a lot like a gin & tonic. Both are great, but for the first 5 minutes, Royal Water was nicer to my nose.
After 5 minutes, however, the minty note that i enjoyed turned into an herbal, basil feel, almost piney, which was still nice but I liked it less. SMW on the other hand, morphed into a clean, dry woody feel with that crisp gin & tonic scent still doing its thing.
It took me a few wears, but after a while I would say that I enjoy Silver Mountain Water more than Royal Water. In my opinion, both are on-par with each other and they’re both a great warm or hot weather option. 7/10 for this one.

I received a sample of this with an order I placed with another Creed product. I didn’t hear much hype about Royal Water. It say on my shelf for almost a year before I samples. I was very surprised how much I liked it. I was so much surprised that I ordered a full 4oz bottle.
I ended up liking the 4oz bottle even more than the sample. Like others have stated there is a huge citrus opening. The citrus opening wasn’t this loud with the sample vial. I decided to buy another 4oz bottle to get this citrus opening. I’d hate to run out and end up with a batch like my sample. The sample is very good, but this batch I got is perfect.
This is a definite warm weather fragrance. It’s not quite warm where I live but I still get compliments. I get good longevity with this as well. Whenever I’m wearing a warm weather citrus and aquatic fragrance I always spray on my clothes as well. This may be why I get better sillage and longevity than the masses.
If you are a fan of Creed and have not yet tried this, then you really need to. This is even a safe blind buy.

Thank you my friend Lucia in London. Wow. Is this great or what? I don’t normally care for citrus in fragrance but this is an exception. The opening is unisex and smells like the oranges, limes, mandarins, bergamot and citric accords you find in most men’s colognes. It’s also got mint. The aldehydes give it a freshness and something almost like Florida Water. Very old fashioned, 19th century. The citrus never really disappears either. More fruity scents come at you with juniper berry. The basil is getting along with the mint, as both are mints. The ambergris at the bottom is a signature of many well made Creed fragrances. This doesn’t make me feel royal like Kate Middleton, more like Queen Mary the grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II lol it’s like stepping back in time to London in the 1900s. Can almost pass for a Coty perfume from that period. It is regal, clean, sweet, strong and lasts all day and night. Much too formal to wear as a “whatever I’ll just put this on” type of scent. This is for special occasions and events: weddings, graduations, promotions, fancy evening parties and galas. It’s for evening and day time. I loved this stuff. Can’t wait for my friends to smell it on me. Very expensive but worth it.

Creed Royal Water is a traditional cologne. It will only appeal to mature man or woman who wants to smell fresh and royal like it was years ago. Very powerful fresh smell of citruses and basil that can really share similarities with an air freshener. I can see someone wearing this at a hight society party and waking in a garden full of sophisticated people. Royal Watter is foral, authentic, rich, and made for special occasions. Even if you like this “regal” vibe that make you feel royal, this Creed fragrance will appears dated and innapropriate for an everyday scent. It has also been discontinued so I would recommand to look at the current Creed frangrances that should be more interesting.

This is my new favourite. I have always loved very clean, uncomplicated citrus scents but it seems, in Australia at least, they have been out of style. Certainly it has been hard to find them in major department stores. My previous favourite was A Scent By Issey Miyake the original green bottle and I wore that everywhere for a few years. With Royal Water there is a similar delicious crispness to the top layer. That may be because of the peppermint note, although it doesn’t smell obviously minty. It has very good staying power and when the top notes fade there is a very subtle basil, juniper and clean soapy base.
The scent is advertised as unisex (and I think all scents should really be unisex as there are women out there who like aquatic or woody scents and men who like sweet candy scents. If a scent works with your skin chemistry and you love it, go for it!)

Royal Water is such a joy to wear. At first spray I got a strong citrus (lemon & bergamot) with juniper. The dry down brings in the basil, mint and a little musk. It is pleasant, refreshing and clean, I love to wear it. Perfect for spring and summer days. I would also recommended it for office wear.

Before I state this review, let me point out that i am someone who favors ( of the Creed Line ) Green Irish Tweed as one of the best so far.
I say this because Royal Water to me, is unisex but, is more feminine to me than anything else.
I wore this for a day, while I did get complimented for it at times, it became a little too much for me.
It has a beautiful smell that I’ve noticed someone before me mention, a garden in France is what they are reminded of.
Well said. I definitely get that fr
