Description

Katy Perry Royal Revolution is the third fragrance that was created in collaboration with Coty. Royal Revolution arrives on the market in a blue bottle. It is an irresistible floral fragrance inspired by the beauty of blue diamond.

The composition is floral and slightly fruity. The top notes include aromas of red pomegranate and pink freesia. Jasmine and orange flower are enriched with sandalwood in the heart, while the base includes unusually mystical notes of blackthorn with addition of vanilla orchid, leather and skin musk.

The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum with an accompanying collection for body care.
Royal Revolution was launched in 2014.

Bought this today at the perfume counter, got a gift set with a small 15mL bottle of perfume and a lotion. I must say the ad for this fragrance is very fun!
“Royal Revolution” is sweet with a swig of tart orange flower and pomegranate, mellowing down to spicy leather and musk. The fruit is tempered, however, none of that high pectin type scent that many fruity florals contain.
This is a relatively coy scent, good for a warm summer day. The blue bottle representing a diamond resonates with me, I love blue diamond beings. Certainly not my signature but fun and adventurous and can be worn by women of all ages.

This is a strange scent…I’m still not sure if I like it or not. It goes on smelling like blue jolly ranchers at first then it dries down to a spicy/powdery scent very similar to Halle Berry’s first perfume… It’s an acquired taste for sure!

This is actually somewhat better than I had anticipated. The blue juice marketed to teens didn’t inspire a ton of confidence in me, despite the fact that I do enjoy plenty of celeb scents.
The initial blast fed into my pre-judgment: an unpleasant blast of alcohol. After it settled down, however, it became a soft, fantasy fruit candy blend. Whatever you might imagine blue, or perhaps purple, candy to smell like, this is it. What surprised me, though, is that the drydown has a little heft to it, some musk and wood notes to balance out the frivolity on top. The powderiness (that’s not a word, is it?) of the scent is a nice touch, too.
Overall, this is not bad for a celeb scent for those who enjoy blue candy scents. It’s not for me, but it’s quite decent for what it is. The bottle is pretty cute, too, though if you don’t like bottles that don’t stand up on their own, best to avoid.

    The bottle:
Looks great like the first killer queen the color really does show what the perfume is going to smell like.
    Inside the bottle:
Blueberry muffin and sweet are the words I would describe this scent.
First spray you smell the blackthorn along with the vanilla orchid. When it dries you can smell the florals. I find this scent gourmand. To me it it does smell like blueberry muffin.Longevity is pretty weak would need to spray a few times a day. The scent is close to the skin.
    Overall:
This perfume is great for someone who enjoy’s gourmand/sweet/fruity scents. I see that people compare this scent to Viva la Juicy and yes there are a lot of similarities between both, but viva la juicy is more on the floral side when this one is more on the fruity side.

Blind buy for me…of her line, I prefer Mad Love and Killer Queen over this one…Purr might be tied and I’d rate Meow lower than this. I didn’t know what “blackthorn” smelled like before buying. I usually prefer bright fruity scents but this one kind of works. I think it smells kind of mysterious but not in like a musky way or anything more like a flower in the forest. It’s interesting I’ll give it that and I’d probably rate it a 7/10. Not a daily wearable one for me.

Rarely do I leave negative reviews. But Katy Perry’s line of fragrances has really been a let down to me. (With the exception of Meow…I do enjoy Meow a lot.)
This one is literally a 97% dupe of viva la juicy with a fruity twist, courtesy of the blackthorn and pomegranate.
However…it smells like a CHEAP dupe and the longevity is about 90 minutes with almost zero projection.
SHAME on Katy and the perfumer(s) for even releasing this as is.
I cannot even describe the disappointment when I sprayed this……(about 10 times) and could barely smell anything past the 1 hour mark.
    Scent Itself – 7/10
Overall score considering performance – 3/10
I’ll stick with Meow for now. I also recently got Indi which also isn’t my cup of tea…but that one is at least super original!

I remember one time I got into a bit of an argument on another site because I said I enjoyed perfumes from all ranges–whether we’re talking celebrity fragrances to the higher end stuff. This person had quite a snobby attitude about celebrity fragrances. I still think this person is quite silly. Are some celebrity fragrances better than others? Yeah. And this is one of the better ones. The first time I sprayed this I thought it smelled like it could be in the Juicy Couture line. If you like that line of perfume, chances are you might enjoy this perfume.
The perfume itself smells wonderful. But another memorable thing about this perfume is the BEAUTIFUL bottle. I love the bottle. I’d go so far as to say it’s the prettiest perfume bottle I’ve ever had. It’s a beautiful blue color and the shape of the bottle definitely sticks out. When I first saw the bottle it sorta reminded me of the potion bottle in the old movie “Death Becomes Her”. I keep my bottle in a basket that I have that came with a variety of beauty products because the bottle can’t stand up on its own and it didn’t come with a holder for it to be able to stand up on. I don’t mind doing that and the perfume itself more than makes up for having to come up with something to lay it in so it’s on my perfume counter. This might aggravate others that want the perfume displayed instead of what amounts to being hidden away. Again, I don’t mind that fact.

A fun, easy to wear scent, suitable for all seasons. Sillage and longevity are fairly weak, but I find in warmer weather or on warm skin it projects and lasts for a few hours. The dry down smells like a cream soda I used to drink as a kid, which is why I enjoy it so much. The blue bottle is also really pretty and my favourite in the Katy Perry line.

I bought this in a set with Killer Queen as my first blind buy. It was around $9 after discounts, so I figured I didn’t have much to lose.
Another reviewer mentioned that it smells like blue raspberry Jolly Rancher. The initial spray does smell a bit like blue raspberry, or some other sweet-tart berry/fruit scent. That fades after about five minutes.
After it dries, Royal Revolution disappears unless you shove your nose into it. Then it’s faintly floral and faintly creamy. I cannot detect any hint of musk (which is fine by me).
With its lack of longevity and depth, I’d say this is most appropriate as a kid’s/tween’s body spray.
I just feel as if so much potential was wasted here, what with the gorgeous packaging, color, and name. I would personally have done more blue/purple fruits for added depth, a bit of lemon or bergamot for tartness, with stronger sweet floral heart notes. But that’s just my fantasy.
It’s not a bad scent, but I feel as if the bottle makes a better decoration than anything else.

Bought this on a whim and wasn’t a fan at all! To me this smells like household cleaning products….good household cleaning products but still. The only redeeming quality about this is the gorgeous bottle but that doesn’t matter if I won’t wear the perfume inside of it.

Meh. Bottle is super cool and I like Killer Queen… found a gift set with both perfumes for under $10 (already have a big bottle of KQ) and figured why not..?
It’s really quite weak on me. The scent itself is fine, a kinda tart vanilla/berry concoction that I would like if it was at least 10times stronger. With some deeper undertones it would be better too. I sprayed both wrists and forearms less than 30min ago and have to really stick my nose to my skin to get anything at this point. I will probably give this to my daughter who doesn’t like strong scents. Now I will go respray with something worth my time, lol!

at first it was a blast of alcohol and cheap vanilla; I thought yet another vanilla teeny bopper mainstream fragrance; as it dried down, it got more complex and rich with a creamy/smokey quality and some fruits, musk and patchouli; though there’s no vanilla or patch in the notes, they are here, you can’t miss them, sweet and tart berry, sandalwood for a creamy smoothness, some cyclamen and feesia for a sharp/bright floral; not a leather fragrance at all, it may be in there to make the frag creamy but is not a discernable note until the very base drydown; this goes through definite changes but becomes a skin scent that really is fruit and vanilla, disappointing. Went from a like to an okay in my book.

  13. :

    I want this.
For NO other reason than the bottle.
Judging by the notes I don’t think I’d care for it. But,THAT bottle will look lovely planted smack in the middle of my mirrored vanity tray on my dresser.

  14. :

    4 out of 5

Very meh… if you like smelling exactly like a blue raspberry jolly rancher candy , you’ll love this though.

  15. :

    4 out of 5

Royal Revolution is very sweet and a bit tart/sour, a general berry fruitiness and a soft orchid are what I smell first. In the drydown it’s more vanillic and there is a tiny hint of leather, but honestly, if I didn’t know the notes I would have missed it. I think it smells more like licorice for some reason. Nothing dark or revolutionary here.
I think this has some potential that got wasted. This could have been much better – if it was a little more daring, if they played up the leather, the blacktorn and the typical powdery aspect of the vanilla orchid instead of drowning it all in a generic sweet vanilla-berry celeb fragrance base.
I’m not opposed to celebrity scents, but this is a typical, boring one. An okay everyday-fragrance, but nothing more. Lasting power is average on my skin.

Oh I love this one. Probably my fave celebrity perfume…reminded me so much of Miss O fashion princess by Oriflame, which I used to use as a kid all the time and then it got discontinued…I am 24 now and still love that smell. Its very girly, inoffensive, fruity and sweet, but not overpowering at all. It doesnt last on my skin at all though :/ 2 hours max…

  17. :

Sweet and a light touch of spices
The lasting power is 6 hours
    The silage is good

This is my fifth Katy Perry perfume and I’m so glad to find another love after meow and purr(killer queen is a like, mad potion is a meh)
I never thought it would smell like this by looking at it’s notes.these notes make me think of a masculine leathery scent with sour fruity notes but this is totally feminine and sweet and I don’t get any leather.I don’t find this scent royal or revolutionary either but it smells great on me
I don’t have original viva la juicy so I can’t compare them.I used to have viva la juicy noir and I can see a similar gene but I prefer royal revolution.I think I mainly smell vanilla orchid, blacktorn is definitely there but this isn’t an overly fruity scent and I’m very thankful for it.if I want to explain this scent to someone I’d say deliciously sweet floral-vanilla with a touch of dark-berryish fruits and a soft touch of powder.I wish I could smell the dark leathery thing other fragranticans are talking about it but it doesn’t show up on my skin.still it smells lovely as it is and one of the rare perfumes which I’m sure that I’m going to go through it fast as I’m almost always in the mood of such a yummy scent and it’s wearable year round.it also seems to be a crowd pleaser.it’s described as sexy, delicious and pleasant by my friends and family members when I asked for their idea
Longevity is about 4hours on my skin.sillage is very satisfying in first hour and that it what really matters by me:to be able to smell and enjoy a perfume without wrist-sniffing and to be noticed by people without chocking them.royal revolution fits in this expectation so I don’t mind reapplying it every three or four hours.I bought a 3.4oz tester bottle of it for 22$ and I believe it worthes it.unfortunately it doesn’t come with it’s beautiful crown shaped cap, still it looks great laying beside killer queen on my vanity.now I’d really like to try “oh so sheer” I wish Katy Perry comes up with other perfumes with diamond shaped bottles, for example a green one and a yellow one(with green or yellow bottles, not colored liquid) they would look amazing in any collection. I’d also love to see other kittens and I wish all her new perfumes smell as great as this one, meow and purr
By the way,it’s drydown is about 70% similar to xerjoff granballo, which costs 7 to 10 times more.
Edit: seems like I was nose blinded after a while.now I can easily smell it even after 8 hours! I love this berry-vanilla-floral smoothness

So i finally caved in and bought this, no regrets lol
Update: I wore this last night, sprayed it ( admittedly quite heavily) at about 6.30pm and at 7 this morning she was still going strong, so its a revolution in one thing at least; celeb scents getting stronger staying power lol.
It dried down to something like lemonade berries and leather. The vanilla orchid gave it a nice creaminess abd the leather is actually very well done here. Theres a slight citrusy note in there but it could just be the freesia.
I am actually pretty happy i gave in and paid the whopping 24 dollars that i did, its so reasonably priced and its incredible, im tied as to which i prefer out of this and killer queen. theres slight similarities which i find odd as the notes are polar opposites. I guess which one i wear depends on my mood at the time.

i purchased this for a birthday gift for a friend ( who loved it so,win)
I was tempted to also get one for myself but held back on the thought that it would be another impulse frag buy that would captivate me for qall of a week then sit in my cupboard doing nothing once i lose interest. Its fresh and sweet, has a nice clean citrus note to it stopping it from going sugar overload. The blackthorn is, im guessing, what gives it a..cool smell if u like, the bottle colour is fitting as it makes me picture snow. I imagine a woman in the snow wearing a big black fur overcoat with red lipstick and leather gloved. Elegant and glamorous, still with the ability to take u down in a second. I cant speak for longevity as i smelled it on a test strip, but the friend i gave it to put it on and it suited her well, all the notes melted together and it was lovely. If i see it in a store for a good price ill consider buying

To me this smells similar to killer queen, beautiful and classy.
This version to me is fruitier and killer queen is creamier, but both are very beautiful and both could be mistaken for viva la juicy flankers. Sweetness and juicy berries
If I had to pick one I would choose killer queen as I prefer the creamier note and I feel it lasts slightly longer. But both of them are lovely fragrances.

  23. :

so…well i ordered this and when i got it i was surprised…its so damn unique…it smells like bubblegum but there is some kind of spiciness to it that fragrance is truly fit for royalty.

Sweet blueberries and cream concoction fit for a queen! Young and sweet. An undercurrent of early Springtime. Somehow reminds me of blue robins eggs too. Light and very pretty–and different! I like this one!

Awful synthetic blue fruity thing. Another foolish blind buy.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

I really like this scent; in fact, I’m seriously considering making it my signature. My nose isn’t sharp enough yet to be able to exactly describe what I like about this, but I can say that it’s fruity (but not syrupy), refreshing, and clean, and I feel like I can wear it anywhere and it won’t be too casual or too formal. I would recommend this to girls of all ages; it doesn’t feel too juvenile or too mature for anyone.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

was a blind buy for me because I so loved killer queen original soooooooooo much but this is really underwhelming and watery smelling, I get floral and fresh notes. to me smells like a wet bunch of flowers – not in a good way.
low sillage and longevity. I suggest using it in winter or cooler climates as the sun seems to overcook it and melt it away to nothing.

  28. :

    3 out of 5

FOOTNOTE: Everyone is right on with the Viva la juicy comparisons & @kismetdaisy yes it’s better than the fake caramel note in Viva la juicy. I think the leather/blackthorn???? Notes (whatever that is) is more pronounced and shows itself in the summer. In winter it’s blueberries with a frozen vanilla soft serve for the drydown. Ok I’m shutting up now as I have given this fragrance too much of my energy lol

  29. :

    4 out of 5

UPDATE: I notice I have to keep applying this constantly. But maybe this is one of those perfumes that other people can smell on you but u can’t because of the olfactory science thing about your senses cancelling out the smell to yourself but others can still smell it. But at $12 for a 3.4 oz tester who cares about longevity! Buy a backup bottle though! Also is it me or does this perform horribly in summertime? Not that’s it’s horrible in hot weather but the sun literally “melts and evaporates the fruity/floral vanilla notes” and it becomes a soft spicy sage flat smell?

A likable version of Juicy Couture!
    I’m diggin this one. mmhmm.
I pretty much detest juicy couture.. But I like this, despite their similarities in smell. I think the blackthorn/leather takes place of JC supposed “caramel.” I use quotes cause …well, I don’t get any caramel in JC. Just a very sour, bad imitation of caramel, strong white florals and deep musk. Lol. Royal revolution is just better smelling.
Not sure I can say blackthorn or leather is the reason for this smelling good.. Don’t know what blackthorn smells like? But, something’s doing the trick. I’d say this is more musky sweet than fruity/floral.
All in all, I can’t tell the notes apart in this..it’s the same scent from first stage to dry down. But.. I can tell you about the horrible longevity/silage.
I’m pretty sure killer queen and things like Meow, are pretty good with projection and length. But this is more along the lines of her mad potion in terms of picking a punch. It’s extremely light. Kinda ruins if for me, as I love strong, loud perfumes .
I think this is best suited for teens. I’m never one to put an age label on perfumes, but this one is a little too simple. Reminiscent of the simpler, carefree days of teenage life. Not enough depth, but just enough flirty and fun in the hands of a young girl.
I wear it, don’t get me wrong. But the scent disappears in a hot minute, so reapplying is constant lol. Oh well. There’s nothing unique here. But if you wanted to like viva la juicy and found the same strangeness I did with it, this is a good choice to try

  31. :

    4 out of 5

I think I prefer this to the original Killer Queen. Fruity floral on a bed of leather and musk, which keeps it from being too girly. The masculine tinge to it is enough to keep me interested.
It’s nothing “revolution”ary, but if you can find a cheap bottle of this I think it would be a solid buy. The bottle is adorable and the scent is enjoyable if you like things sweet, but not overly so.

  32. :

Disappointed, it smells just like Meow but in a different bottle, I was expecting something different. Oh well…. 🙁

My husband surprised me with a gift set of this beauty last night. Not only was I surprised by the romantic gesture by my husband, but also found myself surprised by how good this fragrance actually is. I’ve seen some reviews on YouTube, and also read the reviews on this site and became indifferent about this perfume. Many people have said it didn’t have any longevity and even complained of poor sillage. None of that is true, and quite contrary to what Royal Revolution really is. While this is light in a sense, it definitely has sillage and projection and lasts for ages. I sprayed this on last night after a shower, and could still smell it on my skin and pajamas the next morning. I’m sure having the accompanying products help in prolonging the life of the perfume, but if sprayed kind of liberally, it should certainly last, and the sillage is even good around 5 or 6 feet away. It’s a good thing my husband didn’t tell me he was getting this edgy beauty, because I probably would have encouraged him to get another fragrance instead. Glad things happened the way they did so I could give a more accurate review of this baby. It’s sweet, beautifully floral, and has a dark, edgy side probably due to the leather note in this. Wearing this, and enjoying it. Overall, another good Katy Perry production.

A lovely fruity scent with musk. I smelled this a few times before I bought this. Perfect scent for day and night.
I also like the bottle. Shaped like a jewel and also my favorite color is blue.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

My daughter got this as a gift and I took a spritz based on the adorable bottle. Unfortunately it made me feel a little nauseous with the overwhelming sweetness. I can’t understand why people are up voting blackthorn as a note as it smells nothing like this syrupy concoction.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

This is very nice sweet but not too sweet floral perfume but the longevity and silage sucks. This the first fragrance I own that didn’t even last on the tester card and even some of the other fragrances I own that have weak performances will last on a tester card or paper. The scent was COMPLETELY gone within a hour.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

This smell does remind me of Viva la Juicy, but a slightly fresher version of it. It smells quite delicious without being cloying or overpowering. While I love the smell the staying power is what lets this perfume down, despite being an EDP. It doesn’t last too long on my skin which is why I use it to intensify Viva La Juicy, and also as a body mist.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

A leathery and sweet vanilla with the blast of pomegrenate! I love this scent.. What i dont like in this one is the weakest longevity.. The silage is pretty nice. I always ask my sister or hubby 6 feet away from me after spraying on my body. If they can smell it or not..so they can.. And im ok with tht.. I love the packaging and the bottle.. The bottle is really stunning.. A blue diamond with a dark silver cap. The box is different than the first 2 flankers of KQ. I bought 100ml for $60 usd. I wish its more cheaper than that.. I wish KP will release another flacon of KQ. love love love

This perfume was a so-so scent. The packaging and bottle we really beautiful apart from the cheap looking cap.
The scent was mainly floral with touches of berries and a combination of sweets and vanilla ice cream.
The first notes were rather fruity, florally and with a small hint of citrus. The middle notes were rather floral now ans the base notes were vanilla and creamy.
Overall the perfume smelt a little cheap and smelt like air freshener but after it settles, it ia somewhat pleasing but no that indulging. Overall it is an ok buy and it’s good for its price.
    Recommended for older people maybe.

it’s a nice sweet floral perfume ! It’s not “wow” and it is nothing special it reminds me a hundred others perfumes , and after I have a few katy* perfumes I can bravely say that they are not good , smells boring ! From the celebrity perfumes I like Rihanna perfumes BRitney and J lo ! I think they make the best perfumes and put something in them , they don’t make them just for money ! I like Katy perry but her perfumes sucks , they are for teenage

GREAT perfume by Katy!! It smells so MAGICAL, sweet and majestic-she nailed it with that marketing. I find it to also be seductive with its bewitchingly sweet blackthorn note. Spraying it on and wearing it is such a joyous experience, it’s a luminous sweet smell!! I haven’t tried all of her scents but this I will just go ahead and say, is my FAVORITE perfume by her.

I cannot get into Killer Queen yet but Royal Revolution was an instant, surprise hit that has stayed right at the top of my charts. Blackthorn? I only see this note in this fragrance. I seem to love it. There is magic in here for me because this makes me smile when sprayed. Truly, haven’t smelled anything else like it in the floral fruity universe. It really Isn’t sweet but is very fragrant and all the notes really seem to form a unique harmony. I like the woody vibe here as well as something mysterious and That isn’t a trait of celebrity perfumes but is mostly just an over-used adjective trying to make a description. This smells like nothing else but it is fun and youthful. Love the bottle design and color. Simply lay it on its side .. not hard to handle. Almost don’t want to break this down with an analysis of notes and accords. Simply like to enjoy this and Katy Perry is not a brand I’d ever put on my top shelf. Royal Revolution, however, is one of my favorites among All my collection. Different strokes for different folks. Neither strong nor aggressive but packed with flavor. Great buy and fantastic value for something that wont ever be signature .. but, truth is, I wear my fun faves as often or more as the “special ones”.Really dig what they did with florals here. And nice addition of pomegranate and orchid. Maybe the leather gives it that very perfect sobering effect.

This smells like Killer Queen with some floral mixed in. I’ve tried 3 Katy Perry scents and they all suck. I’m done with her. Mad Potion smelled good but is hands down the worst perfume I’ve ever had for longevity. This one and Killer Queen smell cheap and if you get headaches from perfumes I would steer very clear of these.

This couldn’t be more different to Killer Queen. KQ was a burst of chocolate and forest fruits on my skin with a bit of patchouli, Royal Revolution is like a blackberry jam with floral undertones. So very sweet smelling!

Omgloss!!!! I picked this up at tjmaxx today 3.4 oz for 13.00 and wow wow wow !!! I did sample this months ago at Walgreens and I remember it smelled good but didn’t get a real good smell that day cause the cashier at Walgreens was stingy with the spray but anyway I got it!!!! First of all bottle wise even if it didn’t smell that good id keep it for the bottle .. And icy blue gem so pretty but the scent is nice reminds me of midnight fantasy a lot but with a lighter scent and something else in there idk what but it is very berry and very delicious !!! I think Katy perry got it as far as celebrity scents bottle and scent wise and lasting power isn’t an issue. Killer queen the original is still my favorite though.. That scent is really good and I got that one yesterday tjmaxx same size bottle same price what a deal!!!!

This is from same category as Midnght Fantasy from BS or Euphoria. But this is lighter and not as deep as those two, and sweeter I think. I did get that deep fruit note from the starVivt, which then transformed into vanilla, leather and same fruit note(pomegranate). Ironically, pomegranate is what makes it different from the others. And leather.
So..Its kind of sweet but has that deep “edge” to it. Very nice. This was a blind buy and its pretty good. My one regret is that it doesn’t last that long on my skin
One thing I don’t get is why people comparing it to Viva La Juicy. Viva is more sweeter, without that obvious fruit and leather notes

Boy this is terrific this one!! Really gorgeous! It’s most unusual, and I feel so alive, refreshed and comfortable in it. I have a lot of trouble with my chest, having chronic bronchitis and other weaknesses, and quite a few perfumes affect it, but this one doesn’t!! I can spray as much as I like, not having to worry! It’s beautiful! I love the ‘mystical’ blackthorn note, which does seem very excitingly prominent to me! All in all, longevity and sillage included: a superb perfume!! Very soft and creamy and enjoyable.

Beautiful perfume; just perfect for me, day, night, any weather. It’s scrumptious and delicious, comforting and edgy at the same time. I feel very soothed, and also spiked up a bit; it’s sweet and sharp together, which I love – very satisfying. I think it’s a totally stunning perfume. I am so amazed at the quality of Katy’s perfumes, and I’m going to try to get every one – at least of what I can. I only have Meow (which is one of my favourites! gorgeous!), and Purr (which I love too), so far. I think she’s brilliant. (I don’t know her as a celebrity at all; I just mean the perfumes). Perfect: 10/10 for everything.

My friend from Australia gave me this royal revolution of killer quee 30ml. I have a killer queen and oh so sheer which is i love n have a similar scents, box design and bottle design. But this RR is new to me. The first time i saw the box. I was like ( oh its a different design than the first two of KQ) i love the metalic blue of the box. It really show the revolution of one girl from a royal family. It reminds me of castle designs also which i think they base on it. So i open the box..it has a white protection plastic which is different again. Then the bottle! WOW!! Its like a blue diamond

Average juice in a pretty bottle. This is actually my favorite of all the Katy Perry fumes that come in these jewel type bottles, mostly because it has the least patchouli. Mostly fruity, a little floral. The bottle is what gets me with these, I have a 5mL mini and it is so CUTE.

A scent somewhat similar to Calvin Klein Euphoria with that big pomegranate opening. This also has a unisex quality because it has musk and sandalwood in the heart notes which is very unusual since sandalwood is a strong base note. Soft floral scents of orchid and freesia. The blackthorn is the dominant accord and gives this a dark berry scent. Smells expensive and elegant. I thought it was very nice.

A mix of floral, vanilla and some kind of berry note. It has a nice scent but I don’t think it fits anyone. I imagine this being used as a signature scent for some, it’s not an ordinary, ok/good fragrance that you can use as an an air freshener.
It’s also a bit “dark”, that’s maybe not the proper word but what I mean is that it’s not a fresh and Happy scent; it’s very mature, unique and elegant. It’s reminds me for of the realist than the optimist, if that makes any sense.
I’d say it’s an evening scent but if it’s someone’s signature, it could work for daytime too and any season but if you have this as a favourite among some other perfumes this is more suitable for warm weather – even if it’s not one of the typical fresh fragrances.

I like this one better than Killer Queen. The pomegranate-orchid-wood combo obviously makes me think of CK Euphoria, but the blackthorn adds some interest. It even reads a bit gothic to me, now that I think about it. It’s a shame I find the packaging so abhorrent.
