When i smelt this i thought wow – very dark and hypnotising. But as soon as the SA told me it is the real thing, i threw the paper strip onto the counter and my heart sank. I had no idea that the real thing would be sold here. Same goes for the mukhallat malakhi.
The purchase that i was supposed to do (for another musk which wasnt animal based), i decided to leave and left soon after.

I have had this for quite a while now and am glad to be able to review it here on Fragrantica!
Sadly I have never smelled pure deer musk, but according to the SA at Arabian Oud, London this oil is meant to imitate the real stuff.
What I can comment on is the silage and longevity. Both is unlike anything I have ever seen! Seriously just 2 drops on the neck will get you noticed in a huge room! Being a CPO this will last and last; the most I have gotten was 2 days with 2 showers daily! On clothes it will last for months and months. And in the wash it will perfume all other clothes!
The opening really is quite scary due to some strong animal/dirty vibe. But dont be scared; the dry-down, which begin after 8 or so hours is really nice. Quite sweet and definitely animal-like.
Overall this oil is very well made, but be sure not to over-apply!
