Rose Jardin Delice smells so nice. It’s a rose perfume layered with raspberries, cranberry, cassis (black currant) and litchi. It’s very fruity and sweet. But this is not cloying or too strong as fruit. It’s soft and subtle and quickly turns into their typical body lotion your skin but better type of scents. The rose is the key ingredient and it’s the same rosy smell from their Roses et Reines and Rose 4 Reines. If you like those fragrances you’ll like this one. At the end there’s a touch of cedar and sandalwood. Not a very complex fragrance. Very light and perfect for crisp spring days when you want to smell really airy and nice. I spritz this on the collar of my button up blouses to make the blouse smell like this fragrance. I always get compliments on it.

Hmmm..fruity rose. The rose is definitely the center of attention but the fruits are all around in circle, watching her dancing in the center and then around them. It’s delicious. For those who want to start with a rose fragrance (like me), I recommend this.

I do not get any fruit from this, just the faint canvas of lime that makes the rose stand out as the star. I am a huge rose lover, and when I want just rose, this is what I go for. One spritz lasts me all day. Great projection. Much better than I would expect from a “toiletry” line. I feel like I had this well before 2011, so I wonder if the label is the same from a prior release.

This is a fruity scent that is enhanced by the rose note and has decent lasting power for an EDT (4-6 hours). When the fragrance first opens I can smell the bergamont which is pretty sharp but it calms down real fast. Next I smell the tartness of mostly cranberries and a tiny bit of raspberries with the rose hanging in the background. Eventually it makes it to the drydown where I mostly smell the musk and cedar with the rose still hanging in there just barely. To me the rose never makes a full appearance in this perfume like I was hoping is was going to.I had to buy this one blindly since it was no longer available in the stores and reading the notes I thought it would be really great with how well L’Occitane rose fragrances work with my skin chemistry. Its still a nice scent that is enjoyable and can be worn year around. I only like wearing this occasionally, because I can see myself getting tired of this easily if I wore it everyday for a long period of time. Also I can definitely see the comparison between Rose Jardin Delice and YSL Parisienne but this works with my chemistry a lot better. Overall its not bad but its not a favorite of mine.

I smelt in the order listed above: bergamot, black currant, rose and raspberry in succession. The rose remains predominant to the end, but it is a weak rose softened by the raspberry. I reminds me a little bit of rose flavoured turkish delight – a gluey wondrously calorific sugar coated chunk of goo. It is pleasant, but ultimately nothing special.

Very nice scent, very rosy and sweet. I really like this one but it reminds me too much of Parisienne by YSL and I already own that one.

Reminiscent of Cherry Blossom in bloom, but this rose is delicate and refined. I like it while gently clings to your skin and gives a sense of purity. Quite naturally, pleasant scent of roses…slightly sweet, gentle and very feminine to me.

The notes sound amazing to me… but there’s no fruit in here, I’m so dissapointed. No sweetness either. Only a very slight floral smell, something like magnolia and kind of an earthy or humid stones smell. Not nice.

Hmm, this is very lighfull Rose scent. Like an angel breath. Little bit sweet. Good Day scent. Lovable. Comforting. And Romantic. Longivity is very good, at my skin lasts eaven 6 hours and Edt. So I would say very good and lasting. If You like lightfull scent this is worth of trying. Good for summer time I think.
    I like it A LOT.

I feel bad for saying this, but Rose Jardin is Nuit De Mai’s little Sister who is trying to imitate her but just comes off childish and annoying. I work for L’Occitane and am SOO open to many different types of fragrances but this, this just doesn’t make sense to me.
