Thanks so much to the incredibly kind and generous member who enabled me to try Simply Modern Fleur. This delicate scent from The Limited opens with a sparkling boozy pear note and a soft bergamot, which then turns into warm green almost sweet pea-like magnolia. I don’t know how realistic it is because I don’t recall the scent of the True flower, but this rendition is luminous, warm, sweet and fresh. I don’t think this is much of a statement-maker, but it’s a good quality spring-summer floral which does not smell dated or shrill. It’s lovely, simple and sweet. The floral note sings its song of light and then gracefully fades away without a trace of anything ugly in the dry down. Well executed from start to finish.
