Description

Rihanna launches her fifth fragrance and the first masculine one in her collection, called Rogue Man. After the successful releases of feminine fragrances Reb’l Fleur in 2010, Rebelle from 2012, Nude from 2012 and Rogue from 2013, the pop icon opted for a masculine version of her latest fragrance.

The perfume was developed by Frank Voelkl as an oriental – woody. In the top notes there are bergamot, clementine, black pepper and rosemary. The heart consists of cedar, jasmine, vanilla orchid and labdanum, leaning on the base of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk and tonka bean.

Rogue Man comes out in September 2014. Its advertising campaign shows the singer and a tattooed model. Rihanna posted on on twitter: “Ladies! This September wake up next to your man smelling like this! Makes you wanna steal his Tshirts”

For a budget fragrance, this is pretty good. Sweet, spicy and fresh.
Gives me a similar vibe to D&G The One and Mont Blanc Emblem Absolu. They are similar but not clones, they are all unique in the end.
To my nose, the fragrance starts strong however fades very quickly. Longevity and projection leave a lot to be desired. I’d be lucky to get 1 hour from this but for the price, it doesn’t bother me.

I love this fragrance. Can anyone recommend some fragrances along the same lines as this..sweet,warm and somewhat fresh. I’m looking for an anytime/occasion fall fragrance. Message me if you have any suggestions. Thank you!

I got to say, I can’t be the only one who finds the first initial spray to be extremely spicy and borderline sickening. But, after the initial first blast, this fragrance develops into something beautiful! Rogue man is a sweet, spicy, floral scent. It has an elegant smell but with an edge. It does not project, but it is a cheap fragrance. The vanilla orchid has to be the main note in this fragrance, because this has such a sweet vibe. I’m not crazy about the bottle having the lid take up about 75% of it and the fact that this doesn’t project much. But overall it’s a nice little celeb fragrance for dirt cheap.

The scent reminds me of Dolce and Gabbana’s The One, but it’s definitely different when it dries down, the notes of ceder, jasmine, and vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, drives this fragrance to a nice, spicy, oriental scent that last for 6 hours. For the inexpensive price, it’s blind buy worthy.

I think this is a nice scent. Only issue was on my skin it was gone pretty quickly. I got a few hours out of it. Not horrible, not great as far as longevity goes.
If you’re a hardcore frag head who only likes natural smelling ingredients then you probably won’t like this. But if you’re someone like me who has no problem with cheap and or synthetic fragrances then you’ll probably like this. Can’t beat the price on this one. (Thallium is still one of my all time favorites and it doesn’t get much more synthetic than that.)
I got a lot of spices/pepper, but not many of the other notes listed. I can’t say I got any of the citrus notes that others seem to get on this one. Overall for the price it’s a great buy.

instead of wasting your money in Yves, Armani, Dior, Gucci & other costly fragrance brands, pick this one and you won’t be disappointed. PERIOD!

I picked up a 1oz for $6 on a blind buy. Rogue Man somehow finds a way to be a pleasant, masculine, floral scent with just the right amount of pepper.

This is an Autumn and Winter appropriate scent. Sweet, leathery-floral and spicy.
For a fleeting moment I detected D&G The One without the Tobacco accord. Then it changed and became Joop! Homme Wild minus the rum note.
Once it properly dried down (about 2 hours after first spray) this is now Joop! Homme Wild (without rum) but with a faint accord if D&G The One in the base. This is only my own personal impression of the notes so others may disagree but it struck me pretty quickly what this reminded me of.
Rogue is a nice fragrance for sure and I think I do prefer it to Joop! Homme Wild which I do like. Rogue is just a bit too sugary sweet for me really. Better suited to the younger crowd overall.
Update: Ok, so just a slight alteration to my previous observations. :o) After 3-4 hours, yes this does become a more discrete scent but most of the sweetness fades and you are left with a really decent spicy woody scent not a million miles from D&G The One EDT (not EDP) and sufficiently different to be able to own both.
**D&G The One EDP is head and shoulders above both of the above mentioned imo – a legendary designer scent and one of my favourites.

Not a bad scent! This doesn’t smell like the original Ed Hardy to me, but it does smell EXACTLY like Ed Hardy Villain. With better ingredients and better longevity. Like D&G The One, with more spice. Rather generic, but good.
If I weren’t a collector, I’d like this fragrance a lot, but even AS a collector, I’m glad to have a small bottle of this on hand, to take the place of Ed Hardy Villain and D&G The One. While I like both of those, I couldn’t justify purchasing either one of them. D&G The One is overpriced and Villain is cheap, synthetic and fleeting. Rogue Man is juuuust right.
Rogue for women is much more original, but one thing Rihanna definitely did right is the style of these bottles! The leather cap is VERY nice. This will look great in your collection and will nullify your purchase of the others mentioned.
Also, I agree with mkpunk, there is a slight similarity in notes with Jay Z Gold, which is a VERY good thing.

After a long time of wanting this and then getting it out of the basket and waiting a chance I’ve decided to treat myself finally.
First of all the bottle is like a weapon. It’s huge and heavy and despite looking good on the picture it fights badly with other perfume bottles…sadly.
The smell…hmm, well it kinda starts very alcoholic and then starts to twist into something a little acidic until it reaches incredible similarity with Salvador Dali Laguna Homme (I guess that’s the tonka bean). At the end it turns very good but kinda disappointing. It lasts even less then Dali which is a bad disappointment to me as a Rihanna perfume fan.
My money is not wasted but I’m sad that it’ll evaporate before I even come out of the house and I don’t plan to carry that 100 ml brick with me…
It’s great for indoor parties or cleaning the house while smelling good. I guess it’s a business meeting/ job interview kinda fragrance. It doesn’t push other people with strength but rather ignores them entirely…

First off: I usually never get nauseous wearing fragrances, but this one almost goes there. Maybe it’s the pepper, maybe it’s the vanilla orchid, or just the blend of it. Something doesn’t sit right with me in this fragrance.
Simply put, I don’t like this fragrance. It’s got poor-to-mediocre longevity and sillage, and the smell isn’t really that special. The price is cheap, yes, but you get a fragrance that feels cheap in return.
    4/10
When I showed it to my dad he did say he liked it, though. So I gave that almost full bottle to him as a gift without any second thoughts from my part. 🙂
Now I’m gonna go and make figurative love to Bentley for Men Intense. THAT is an amazing cheap fragrance that’s great in the winter and fall, unlike this one.

  12. :

    Very good !
A soft version of Chanel Allure, but with a better performance (good longevity and moderate projection).

  13. :

    4 out of 5

This is a great bang for your buck cologne and will be a staple in my fall/winter rotation !
To describe this scent I’d say this is a fresh, ambery scent that’s slightly spicy but also had a kind of tropical vibe to it as well. It sounds like a strange combination but somehow it really works ! This sounds like a unique combination but honestly it reminds me of a lot of fragrances I currently own. Those fragrances are Polo Double Black,Ed Hardy for men,Bath and Body works Bourbon and also D & G The One. However, I see similarities but Rogue man doesn’t smell like a copy of any of those scents.
Performance on this is really good for a cheapie ! It lasts 6-10 hours with above average projection pretty much the duration of the entire scent life.
Overall rating — 7.25 out of 10 !!! It’s a great all around cold weather scent for a great price but because it reminds me of other fragrances there’s nothing that stands out to he that makes me love this scent.

  14. :

    5 out of 5

    Oooo, I forgot to mention…
…and some people may not want to hear this…
It’s still better than Moschino Uomo (cringe). Please don’t kill me…
But the performance is better and so is the smell. So if you’re torn between the two, I would go with this one. You can’t argue with the youthful sexiness.

I found this fragrance is very similar to ed hardy mens edt but this one have a more sweetness and lasting power. i got a lot of compliment on girl wearing it specially at work.
Someone saying this one is very similar to dg the one. I own the one but the sad thing i cant see the similarity of this perfume and i much prepare to wear it than the one by dg

Here are the first 3 things that I thought when I blind bought this and sprayed it on my arm:
    1) For the price, I’m not disappointed (a good thing)
    2) This smells like a flowery soap I’ve smelled before
    3) I can see how (young) women would find this sexy
But after wearing this for 3 days, I can conclude that this is totally not my thing. Guys, there’s no way around the fact that this smells CHEAP. It’s light, aromatic and tropical-type fruity with a VERY prominent tonka-orchid-clementine combo that screams SYNTHETIC. The addition of a strong musk and amber in the middle give this a resinous feel, but only when sniffed up close. Patchouli and some sandalwood finish it off in the drydown.
Unfortunately, there’s absolutely nothing mature about this stuff, and nothing that would make me pay more than $10 for a bottle (which I did, and therefore – not disappointed).
Remember, IMO, this stuff will appeal to YOUNG women. Young people. I’m talkin’ teenie bopper range. People who are probably not into fragrances and don’t mind settling for the lowest common denominator (which is still OK). But if you’ve smelled hundreds of frags by now, this stuff probably won’t cut it. And BTW, HOW is this not unisex??
So yeah, I had higher hopes for this given the HEAVILY BIASED reviews online – almost exclusively positive – but for me, it was that sagging flower you see in cartoons. Neeeeeeeoooooooooooo.
But hey, FOR THE PRICE, this is actually a good scent. In fact, for a celeb frag, this stuff rocks. It punches other celebrities IN THE FACE, is what it does. For $10, why the hell not? And if you’re a young lad, or incredibly budget conscious, this is a no brainer. Otherwise, you can probably do better with Perry Ellis M, or Insurrection Wild II for just a little more.
    Scent – 6/10
    Longevity – 6/10
    Projection – 6/10
Overall – 6/10 – Thank you Robyn Fenty.

This is my second review since I have tried The One and can compare that to it and found my girlfriend loves it on me. This is a more tropical The One without the tobacco which can give it an old man vibe at times. It is also spicier than The One. I can say for those reasons Rogue Man is more youthful take on The One and closer Imho than Ed Hardy Villain. I need to get a second bottle just to avoid it being discontinued. Not that I didn’t love Rogue Man before, but I really love it now. As my ex-girlfriend said when she smelt it on me “Rihanna can do no wrong.” I have to agree on this. I think my original 8.6 is now a solid 9.0.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

I picked this one up because it was cheap and there were some comparisons with D&G The One. While I can smell some similarities with The One, I found Rogue Man to have a bit more youthful and playful vibe…not a technical review, I know, but it’s certainly different enough to have both in your collection. I very very liked this fragrance, but The One will remain a staple in my rotation.
Performance on my skin was about average in that is lasted 5-6 hours and projected moderately. Rogue Man is a very nice Fall thru Sprint night-time Oriental Woody that will be well-received by most unlikely to offend many. Just a very solid offering from this celebrity house…just don’t overthink or over-analyze it.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he definitely likes it! He is picky about his cologne accords and loves all kinds of scents for men, but was new to warm scents for men because he always gravitates to the fresh, citruses like Issey Miyake, Nautica, he loves Burberry for men and so do I on him. He says this is warm and soothing. I loved it when I tested it. It has a aromatic, soothing vibe, a faint sweet note that is some how still masculine. I can smell the pepper and rosemary combined giving it that soothing aromatic smell, almost like a cup of warm herbal tea. Fresh, but warm, spicy, soothing masculine scent for women to snuggle up to their man. my guy always would get fresh citrus scents and I’m more a warm scent loving lady on myself and my guy to smell like, now because of gifting him with Rogue for men as an intro into more warmer scents he now likes and goes for warm scents and actively looks for warm scents too! I’m not good at reviewing male scents cause I’m a female and don’t wear male scents, but this is very good juice to smell on my guy. I’m impressed and he and I both love the bottle with the edgy R, because his first and last name starts with the letter R and he’s a bit of a rebel so it fits, Lol.
I agree that it does have that Chanel Allure Pour Homme fragrance vibe, aromatic, but I think Rogue is stronger maybe.

I bought this perfume from prestige philippines. I love the packaging amd the bottle..the box is nice its a cardboard with a leathery coat. The bottle is big and its really heavy. I like the claw design under the bottle. It reminds me of punks. The only disappointment in the bottle is the lid. The leather skin of the lid is made from a cheap leather. It damaged quickly.u can see a lot of skin flakes.and about the scents. My god! Its a very cheap fragrance! It reminds me of deodorant for man in a good way. This scent is normal. I mean, a thousand copy. It has a blast of tonka bean, sandalwood and bergamot.but the tonka bean stays for an hour. The base notes is kinda powdery..its 3 hours on my skin. Its a cheap fragrance for men.

This is another fucked up perfume I bought from Rihanna’s collection, the other one is Rebelle.
First this Rogue Man is an EDT not an EDP.
When it comes to perfume, I always think spending money on EDT is such stupid idea, like owning a Pug Dog.
I bought it online, I didn’t realize until it arrived today.
Also I was really surprise a celeb like Rihanna would created perfect a EDP for R’bel Fleur, but an EDT for Rogue Man.
    This perfume is also overrated.
The silage is normal, not easily being noticed from meters away like Rihanna – R’bel Fleur.
The longevity is also moderate, not long lasting like R’bel Fleur.
I know now the pattern on Rihanna’s perfumery line, she always adds musk cause this note/scent last longer on people with warm bodies.
The first spray, it smells acidic kind of smell, like ozone – watery acid smells, still tolerable, but it is not the smell that makes you amuse with it.
I remember when I was around 14 years old, I used to buy a cheap cologne which smells like this, and I stopped to use it after 2 times, cause I was thinking “Wow, this cologne suits better to my lame Uncle”.
But really this Rogue Man smells really cheap, I do regret to spent $45 just for a perfume that smells like this.
The bottle also so huge, not easy to be bring/put into bag.
You need to hold very tight, cause you will have a feeling, if you drop it, the glass will shatter everywhere. The cap was made by leather, also huge and heavy.
I really really disappointed with this Rogue Man.
And lesson learnt today, I will stick back to R’bel Fleur.
I can smell the pine, the citrus, the tonka bean, the pepper, the rosemary, and the sandalwood. But it still smells so awful.
    ***
I strongly advise to do not buy this Perfume. Or at least buy the second hand one version, cause the smells is really bad. They list here as Balsamic, but it won’t give a royalty impression on you, it gives an impression of you wear $3 cologne you grab from the big supermarket.

Quite pleasant! This could certainly be worn as a unisex scent, although it tends toward the masculine. This is going to sound weird, but it smells like Gain + cedar to me. That’s a very good thing, because I love the smell of Gain! It’s woodsy and comforting and not too heavy (although I probably wouldn’t do more than one spritz on myself). I like the base of the bottle with the spikes in it!
Thanks to Micah for gifting me a bottle of this scent!

  23. :

    5 out of 5

My interest in this scent started on another fragrance reviewing site, I was unsure at first about this scent, I stated that it seemed like just another Chanel Allure Homme clone.
Well, after a few overnight wearings I gotta admit I really like this, it’s a bit on the unisex/sweet side and floral towards the end. This will carry on for hours on your skin!
One of the notes listed is Vanilla Orchid, that’s the first time I see that ingredient/note and it may be what this scent eventually settles down to.
At first application you’re going to get that Allure HEAVY vanilla, Tonka vibe and it lasts a while.
Projection is great and I have to give Rihanna some credit, if she actually had a hand in developing/planning this, the bottle too is simple but nice and actually heavy. I got the 1oz./30ml bottle and the box and sprayer are above average.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

It’s a semi-sweet, middle of the road mish-mash of the notes found in the description.
I get the comparison to D&G The One, however The One is heavy on the tobacco and this has none. They aren’t very close to be honest. But I don’t get the comparison to Polo Black. It really smells nothing like it.
This dries down to a middle of the road, slightly powdery vanilla-esque scent. This one has a bit of musk in it to keep it from getting too dry, but it’s still pretty boring and generic.
I also do not get the longevity people are claiming in the voting above. This stuff is totally average in that category. In the end, this fragrance is pleasant but forgettable. The good news is it’s really cheap so if you want to make the mistake of buying it, go right ahead!
    Overall 4.5/10

  25. :

    3 out of 5

WOW, this is some amazing smelling scent. Rihanna Rogue Man is a flanker to the original Rogue fragrance. I paid about 12 for a 1.0oz/30ml on Amazon.
The bottle design is weird, especially with the 1.0oz/30ml size. The top takes up at least 60% of the bottle design. Juice is held inside a similar bottle to Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction bottles. The bottle shares similarities to the original Rogue bottle with the spikes coming from the bottom, nearly touching the juice area. It’s really unique in a good way. Really well crafted. The only downside is a slight inconsistent sprayer.
The smell is really good and very much Polo Black, a spicy topical scent. I like Polo Black so this is why I love Rogue Man. There are two main differences between Rogue Man and Polo Black. The first difference is that Polo Black is kind of linear while Rogue Man is far more of a traditional progressive note pyramid with top, mid and base notes. The second difference deserves its own paragraph…
The second is the notes. Besides the noticeable mango note as well as the semi there sage and wormwood, Rogue Man has every single note of Polo Black. Rogue Man has citruses (bergamot and clementine specifically rather than tangerine and lemon), sandalwood, tonka bean and patchouli. To replace the sage and wormwood notes; rosemary, jasmine and vanilla orchid are added. On top of this pepper, cedar, labdanum, musk and amber are added as well.
The structure of these notes is amazing. It is unlike anything I smelt except for maybe Jay Z Gold in craftsmanship. The top is a citrusy, peppery opening a little more heavy on citrus but still spicy. This fades about an hour into a cedar and vanilla orchid heavy mid. The mid fades out into a tonka and sandalwood base after about another hour/hour and a half. The base stays for around three to five hours ontop of this.
Rogue Man projects amazingly. The first time I sprayed it this morning, I did one spray on each wrist and one against each back of the ear. The sprays on my wrist, I could smell rather far. Normally I would have to put up to my nose to smell after the strong sillage goes away at about two hours but I could have them in front of me by a foot and still smell it. It is like A*Men level projection. The sillage projects about six feet unless tamed like I did. I resprayed at about 3:30 after a shower and sprayed lighter with one spray to my wrists to not offend my parents (my father is very smell sensitive.) That said, it still projected really good.
Rogue Man is mostly a fall/winter scent. This is due to the tropical DNA that it adapted from Polo Black and actually perfected. It is a night-time scent that can be tamed down to be a day scent. That said, it isn’t a skeleton key scent like say Bleu de Chanel, Ferragamo F Black or Jay Z Gold is. I can see that it is a very good close encounter scent as the sillage dies off but while you have the sillage, it is good for clubbing.
Overall, Rihanna Rogue Man was a home-run. It is yet another Parlux celebrity male scent like Jay Z Gold to be amazing. (Parlux also does the Sofia Vageara line my mother loves and the Jessica Simpson line my sister-in-law loves by the way.) I have to rate Rogue Man 8.6 for being mostly a fall/winter scent but a GREAT smell, a GREAT projecting one at that. I paid $12 for the price and shipping for the 1oz/30ml but would GLADLY pay much more for it.

    The 100 Days Challenge – Day 22:
One spray is enough to engulf yourself in a pastry-like cloud, with a floral and semi spicy touch. Conceptually is not as audacious as its female counterpart but not a classical type either. Let me put it this way: Old Spice’s bisexual grandson. Surely the ancestors deep inside are proud of “Rogue Man”.
Today’s phrase: Nada es para siempre.

I agree with khaldoon1984 there is nothing
special about this scent, it is very ordinary
in the same fashion as other celeb scents,
it is a good fragrance but in my opinion it never
reaches the same level as a designer scent and
its far from niche quality, this is a scent for
those who just want a good smelling fragrance,
collectors will be disappointed as they tend to
ask for higher quality, but still a good buy if you
dont expect it to be something unike.

One of the best contemporary celebscents, especially for men. It’s clean, fresh, alluring, and a little sweet. A lot of votes seem to favor this as a winter fragrance, but I beg to differ, seeing as how this cologne is surprisingly light and could easily get lost in cold weather. A spring/fall fragrance, I would say. Really nice. 8/10

    OMG
Grabbed a 1 oz spray today at TJ MAXX…$9.99.
I must say, it is very similar to D&G The One, but…I find it much better !!!! Longevity, since I put it on this afternoon, has been GREAT on me. The One did not last that long.
As a side note….Rogue for women is spectacular !!
Picked it up for $9.99 1 oz spray also. What a surprise these 2 were !!! I will be ordering larger bottles of both !!!

This is a very nice cologne. It does remind me of Dolce and Gabanna The One for men, though it is not identical, it is still very similar.
The fragrance itself is very pleasent and seductive.
    The lasting power is amazing.
The projection does exactly what I want it to.
For the first hour, it radiates within a few feet or so at the most, but after that it stays close to your skin, but is still the the next day. So it is very nice and long lasting and not overpowering at all.
    Fragrance 10/10
    Lasting power 10/10
Projection 10/10 (if you want you fragrance to remain close to you)
If you’re wanting a fragrance that enters the room before you do, this one isn’t for you.

    received mine today !
    damn, this is interesting !
its smooth, sweet, simple, it’s just brilliant.
i like DnG “The One” that much, now imagine this :
pick the warm and sweetness of “The One” + lots of tonka bean. and ermm… that Vanilla Orchid is the “highlight” in this juice. it makes this different from any other within the genre.
it reminds me of Charriol Pour Homme EDT (the drydown of the charriol is slightly similar to Rogue Man’s opening IMHO)
    glad i reserved a bottle.
for those of you who like : warm, sweet, alluring scent, give it a try, simple yet complex at the same time. i dont know how to describe it, but it is THAT GOOD !
    Scores:
    – Scent : 9.5 out of 10 (lovely warm-sweet scent, which i like)
    – Longevity : as always, gonna update later on this one.
    – Projection : Moderate. its better than “The One”s projection off course. lol
    – Versatility : 8 out of 10. it’s good for night time wearing i guess? and its pretty safe to wear in warmer nights either. yea i know, im pretty skeptical about “when” is the right time to wear such fragrance. as long as i think that it would fit my activities and not offend anybody in the meantime, i’ll use it. no matter “when” (day/evening/etc).
Overall : finally, with this being said. give this one a try. this one is sure a compliment getter i believe !
and its that kind of fragrance that would make hugs longer.
Masterpiece ? who cares. it’s GREAT, it’s Full Bottle Worthy, i’ll absolutely rock on this one !
    Regards

Imagine Hugo Boss’ ‘Hugo’ with a LOT of tonka bean and you’ll get an idea of Rogue Man.
Longevity is good, sillage is average.
Ultimately, this is a very forgettable fragrance.
My husband already owns “Hugo’ so there’s absolutely no need to buy this sweeter rip-off.

Nice sweet spicy fragrance like somebody else posted it does smell a little bit like spice bomb d&g the one and roca wear evolution the performance is also good with this one as well these celebrity fragrances are actually nice and pleasant most of them by cologne guru experts standards they may not be much in the weird note and scent section but to us regular Joe’s that just like to smell good they’re nice it’s a like and 7/10 better suited for cooler weather fall winter and cool spring it might be a bit much in heat last off the bottle is creative but it is oddly shaped when trying to spray it on when your fresh out the shower with wet hands you’ll probably drop it so stand over the couch or bed so you don’t break the bottle or the sprayer I got big hands but I still have to use both hands to get it right

My fav perfume right now! I love the fact that it’s vanilla but not vanilla! Think this vanilla orchid is a better ingredient than vanilla! It’s not too much!

After reviewing the review here I blind buy this Rogue. It is bottle is rather big with big cap with synthetic leather on it.
First Impression, It is spicy at first , I think black pepper, then after 10 minutes it evolves into some sweet aromatic scent – Cinnamon. after 30 minutes it evolves again into sandalwood and amber.
The longetivity is around 10 hour and the sillage is strong at first 3 hour, after that the smell is only near your skin but it is still there.
It is good fragrance if you like spices

Sexy masculine scent. Starts off fresh and citrusy. Then goes into a leather floral with vanilla. And base comes out and sticks to the skin with the Tonka beans and sandalwood and amber giving that warm vanilla scent making it very masculine. It changes about 2 or 3 times but that’s what makes it very Rogue! Long lasting too. About 7 to 8 hours. Great for dates and bedroom play.its very different from other colognes out right now. Good job rihanna for being a women’s made fragrance. It’s my favorite this season so far.

so i know i already wrote my take on this the first day i tried it.. but i would like to add a few things i have learned.
it garners compliments, it smells different than your average celeb scent, it has decent projection and the best thing is it LASTS.
i sprayed one spray on the back of my hand before i left to attend a Timberwolves game around 6pm.. it is now 4am and i can still detect it on my skin! awesome

Love Rihanna and i love this cologne!!
I was at Mall of America and they had a great deal in perfumemania where you get the whole gift set for 69$.. Unfortunately it was the last. Shopping spot i hit and was short on cash.. But because i have a Rihanna bracelet on he gave me a free travel spray sample!
I have had it on about 6hrs now and can still smell it on my arm.. Definitely gonna buy!

Tried this one this morning and I’m sad to say that this is a very standard, very average mens fragrance along the lines of Jay Z Gold and JLo’s Deseo for Men, except without the berries. Longevity is good, projection is moderate, but this is a big disappointment. Noting new at all.

On me longevity is good but projection weak.
Not a big fan of the fragrance itself, was expecting something more intense/wintery but to me that’s a summer fragrance. subtle and just okay.
Too bad coz I was rly anticipating this one.

Okay, I was highly anticipating this fragrance as Rihanna’s female fragrance are incredible, so when I had a chance a rushed to House Of Fraser! When I smelled it, I tried it on my skin, so this is my interpretation of it, the fragrance was very bright, almost summery on my skin, so I looked at the notes and I was really shocked! I wish I was getting the listed notes, but I’m getting a very pleasant summer smell? Maybe it needs time to develop so I will edit this in a few hours, but I am slightly disappointed with this so far, wouldn’t buy it as I prefer heavy fragrances. I will give it time.
EDIT: So it’s been 4-5 hours since I’ve sprayed this on my hand. And I must admit, it got a lot better, this REALLY warmed up nicely, but still, it was only nice, nothing exciting, just nice. Doesn’t do much for me, I’m upset as I was really looking forward to this one. But a pro for this is that it’s been on 4-5 hours and its actually lasting REALLY well. So that’s good I suppose.

I just bought the gift set for Rogue Man by Rihanna and it is amazing! The fragrance is absolutely amazing and worth it’s value. I highly recommend it for someone who wants a not overpowering, sweet but masculine, fragrance. It is masculine and has a bright opening. Then it soothes down to woody and vanilla and sweet. It’s hard to describe but really my favorite mens fragrance. It’s so good and best of all it’s by Rihanna! It’s the perfect fragrance!
Rating: This gets a 9.5/10 from me. One of the best fragrances out their now!

Okay so this is my first men’s fragrance review as I normally only collect women’s perfumes. So as is said I don’t normally buy men’s scents but when I heard Rihanna was releasing one I just had to have it. This isn’t actually that bad. I have worn it once or twice since getting it to see what reactions I got to it from friends, family a
