Like many others have mentioned, upon first spray, RFF smells just like Fantasy. I’ve always been a fan of Fantasy, but I didn’t want the same perfume in a different bottle, so I was a bit let down after that initial spritz. BUT, then I allowed it to settle and dance with my chemistry for a few minutes. I perked up when I realized it wasn’t just like Fantasy. Yes, you easily pick up on the Fantasy vein, however, RFF morphs into something much softer, creamier, and muskier. It’s still sweet like Fantasy, but less loud, imo. I do wish the coconut was stronger, that was the main note I was looking forward to. It’s definitely there though, peaking through the other notes. Overall, I’m very pleased with RFF and prefer it over Fantasy. If you’re a lover of Fantasy, I would definitely recommend trying this one out! And remember not to judge until it has settled. (;

Okay first impressions: I get the comparisons to the original Fantasy, I do. BUT, this one… I actually like better! One thing that always bothered me about the original Fantasy is the screechy/sour top notes. Those are not present in Rocker Femme. It’s smooth smooth smooth all the way through, from start to finish. I’m not smelling too much blackberry in this either. The bit that’s there is very fresh and natural and not candy-like. What I am getting is a soft, buttery cashmere woods and whipped cream. It feels almost silky smooth to my nose. It’s softer than the original Fantasy, and hugs you closer. It feels more homey and seems to meld into my skin better. I’m also getting the softest touch of coconut. It’s not a synthetic coconut that’s begging for attention, it’s natural and woody/fleshy. There’s not that heavy saccharine sweetness that was present in OG Fantasy, it’s so much more balanced and even just slightly powdery, I’m assuming from the violet note. If you’re a lover of creamy vanilla and woods, try this. It’s Fantasy but less giddy, hyper, and sugar-high. And more versatile in its wearability. I feel this would be a great anytime fragrance and could also layer well with many different fragrances to lend a creamy touch.

Unusual. Unlike a lot of celebrity scents produced nowadays this actually smells cheap. Unlike things like Glam (Giorgio) and Mediterranean (Arden), this cheap scent doesn’t go well with my skin. There’s a comment below on how it smells of Crayola crayons. I’m having a hard time disagreeing with this. It’s not exactly what I’d choose to wear. It’s like a bizarre mix between Si & Poison Girl but it’s very awkwardly done.

Although I knew that this one doesn’t have the special note I want, the frangipani flower. And maybe that’s why they are not similar.
This one is great though, just hoping to find Sweet like candy with much better price. The prices I am seeing is absurd! This one got a better performance and better price than Sweet like Candy.

on first spritz, it was exactly like the original fantasy, but without the sharp kiwi. I was disappointed because i didn’t want a dupe for the original. however the drydown is where this shines. i get a creamy, almost coffee like smell. i had to double check the notes to make sure there wasn’t coffee. it smells live private show which is the fragrance of hers that has that coffee note. I will say this is fruitier than Private Show. if Fantasy and Private show had a baby, it would be Rocker Femme. It’s a nice enough scent but not my favourite from her. Midnight Fantasy and Curious in Control are still my faves.

THIS is the Fantasy that should have been called “Sunset.” It’s darker and quieter than the original.If you are only going to try one Fantasy, try the Rocker Femme flanker. Blackberry replaces the kiwi in the original, which really tones this down from being screechy. It’s not linear, either; starts off with the whipped cream, vanilla, sweetness, and blackberry, but at the heart, the florals come out. I get magnolia in this (but it’s not listed). Eventually, it also smells like it has a licorice note, the tiniest bit Lolita Lempicka, another impossibility.
Aromatyu below is exactly right about the marketing of this. Cheesy and all wrong. The name “Sunset Fantasy” would have worked; the name “Twilight Fantasy” would have been even better, but the word twilight was at that time still too associated with all those teenage vampire movies or whatever that was.
Lately, I have been rediscovering my old favorites in the Fantasy line after being a little let down by Sunset Fantasy. Sunset and In Bloom still beat many other fragrances, but they can’t compare with the original and early flankers.

This was a blind buy. I’m a fan of Fantasy and a few of the flankers. Cashmere wood is also one of my favourites notes. After reading couple people mention that it has some similarities to Misteriosa, which I love, that was it, I had to order it!
The first time I tried it, I went overboard with 3-4 sprays on each forearm. Boy, this one is potent! An hour or two later, I had to wash it off as it was just too much, and waited the next day to try it again. This time, I only used one single spray per forearm. Now I’m feeling the love!
It has a very pronounced berry in the opening, not quite as good as Misteriosa’s, but after about an hour or so, as it settles, I get the beautiful creaminess and the intoxicating basenotes. I did not pick up on coconut at any point.
That said, I really like this one, especially after about an hour, and the bottle is super cute, but my favourite is still Fantasy Stage Edition.

On first sniff, Rocker Femme was loud, hot, confusing, and terribly complicated to the point where it actually “had all of the bouquet of a terrible noise”. I picked up NONE of the notes listed, which are honestly lovely. I was crushed. I tried every season to fall in love with it and didn’t pick up even one single scent listed. Nothing. Just loud. Assuming my bottle had fallen victim to terrible bottle shock, I placed it in time out on my perfume shelf.
Fast forward three years, January 1st, and curiosity got the better of me. It’s such a pretty bottle and promises such a fun bouquet, so I cautiously spritzed my wrist…
OMG, ITS LOVELY NOW!
It’s settled so beautifully! On me I get Earth (but not as deep as patchouli, almost a mossy-peppery depth), Blackberry Liquor (not berries, but boozy upscale blackberry sherry), Violets, Jasmine, Cashmere Musk, and Whipped Cream.
Coconut, Gardenia, and Amber are absolutely absent, but it’s still a really sexy winter perfume. Pair it with Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel to up the sweetness and longevity. It lasts about two hours on me. Fleeting and fun like New Year’s Eve!
I won’t repurchase, but it’s fun to have it once.

When first sprayed, it smells exactly like original fantasy to me: cupcakes. Interestingly enough the longer it sits on my skin, more fruitiness comes through. I get whiffs of a berry smell, not entirely unpleasant. Most people complain about a fruitiness in the beginning of Fantasy before you get to the sweet drydown, and this one does the opposite for me. I get fruitiness the longer it wears on. I don’t get any fruitiness in original fantasy so maybe that one is more compatible with my chemistry. I still like this one, but I love the original already and it’s similar enough to this that I’d rather have that one. And also this ones doesn’t last as long or project as strongly, but I could see it being a more “safe” fantasy for those who feel self conscious wearing sweet girly fragrances that are strong.

Edit:- I have been wearing this more and it really is an amplified berry fantasy. It is a great party fragrance to wear if you’re going out for the night would be perfect. I think though that I prefer the original and a couple flankers over this but the bottle is gorgeous in person and you will smell delicious when you wear it.

This fragrance is the perfect example of why you should always try a fragrance first and not have a pre-conceived notion of what you think it will smell like based on the up voted fragrance notes on fragrantica. Coconut? No. Whipped Cream? No. Blackberry? No.
This is the exact same fragrance as the original Fantasy, only this version has been stripped of any sweetness that the original possessed. Imagine what Fantasy would smell like without the cupcake and white chocolate. This is it.

This is a bitter, sour, musky fragrance that in no way carries any sort of coconut note what so ever. I was so excited to try this because I am a coconut fanatic as well as a long time lover of Fantasy.
Between my love for Fantasy, love for coconut, and love for the new packaging.. i was stoked to get my hands on this. My hopes were dashed. And trust me, I have wore this many times to try and get the coconut but to no avail.
If you’re looking for something entirely different from the OG, or are excited about the coconut or you know, any sweetness at all.. look elsewhere. This is right near the bottom of anything Britney has ever released.

I wore it again recently ( giving a second chance). I wore firstly my original Fantasy early in the morning…hours later ( around lunch time) I applied the Rocke Femme. Then we went out for the cinema, after that, we went to a restaurant.
By the time we was saying bye bye to our friends, they all want hug me again and again because they told me how much they loved my perfume! I guess as I wore the Rocke Femme for the last,on top of my original Fantasy, did made it last longer. Sorry that was a long story I hope did make sense. Lol
And for that reason I’ve decided to buy another bottle ( a 100ml one) so I did! 🙂

Rocker Femme is pretty much just original Fantasy but with the kiwi swapped out for blackberry. So, for me it is an improvement, as it’s not so sharp and sour. Still, very bright and fruity. As with the original, I miss out on a creamy, edible element, and I also don’t really get much coconut. Overall, though, it’s a yummy, sweet fruity floral available for a great price, so fans of this genre really can’t go wrong. I’m going to try it layered with the Nice Remix. Moderate projection, above average longevity.

OK, I wore today once more, I find a bit too soft ( I like strong-ish perfumes) its fades on my skin quickly ( although I still could feel blasts of creamy-cupcake kinda smell) my hubby did like and specially because this one is not as strong as Mad Love lol. This perfume is a victim of a marketing disaster. Wrong name and wrong bottle. They should have put it in a black bottle (like the anniversary edition), and called it “Femme Fantasy”. This perfume would have had a different life. For those of us who like Fantasy but think it might be getting too young and too kiwi, Rocker Femme should do it. Coconut instead of kiwi, cream instead of cupcake, and sandalwood instead of orris root. Like it but won’t pull the bottle out of my purse or drawer in front of the big audience.

It’s pretty obvious when you smell Rocker Femme Fantasy that this flanker retains much of the original. I wore Fantasy throughout most of my early twenties, so the ‘cupcake aroma’ is quite familiar to my nose.
Rocker Femme Fantasy opens with blackberry rather than the kiwi fruit found in the original. This opening is perhaps the only thing that sets them apart. During the heart and drydown it was difficult for me to tell the difference between the two. After a full day’s wear I got the feeling that Rocker Femme Fantasy was 99.9% of the original Fantasy formula just re-packaged in an edgier looking bottle, with a few minor tweaks such as the blackberry and a touch more musk.
I have grown out of the sugary gourmands in Britney’s line. Fantasy and its many reincarnations no longer excite me as they once did. If you’re young and buying a scent from Britney Spears for the very first time, perhaps it would be worthwhile purchasing Rocker Femme Fantasy over the original Fantasy. I say this because I find this flanker much smoother and longer wearing than the original.
This flanker was a slight disappointment for me, however I know that Britney Spears has released many fragrances since Rocker Femme Fantasy that smell unlike any other fragrances in her line. I hope to find something a little more unique from her newer releases that don’t stir up memories of my Fantasy wearing past.

This is my sixth Fantasy flanker, but I never even tried the original. I can’t test it anywhere and I’m a bit hesitant to blind buy it since I think it might be too young for me, I’m 36.
I had Midnight Fantasy and Circus Fantasy a few years ago, but I didn’t like them very much.
Now I have Intimate Fantasy, the Naughty and Nice Remixes and Rocker Femme.
I do like Rocker Femme. To me it smells sweet, warm and somwehow it reminds me of sweet liqourice candy.
However, I don’t smell the blackberry at all. I don’t mind since I’m not to crazy about berry fragrances.
I think I will use Rocker Femme quite often.
I also just ordered Hidden Fantasy, but have not received it yet. Also a blind buy, so I’m very curious…
Which reminds me, I have not tried any of the other Britney perfumes besides the Fantasy Flankers.

Miss spears please improve quality of bottle I am careful with my bottle but the paint is chipped off and around the neck has chipped off as well. I have never had this problem with any of the fantasy editions. I wanted to keep this as a collector item but it looks terrible!! I dont know if anyone else has experienced this. This edition is my favourite smell of all the fantasy editions but horrible bottle.

When first whiffs caught my nose,it reminded me original fantasy so they have a similar gene in common but it develops differently.fruity note here is berry which isn’t as intense and sour as kiwi.I can easily detect whipped cream and vanilla but there are also musky florals.it has a milky,creamy texture but I can’t pick up much coconut,as usual.drydown is drier and a tad powdery thanks to cashmere wood and amber.all in all I think it’s a bit more mature than original fantasy,just a little.it’s still very feminine and smooth,yummy and pretty

Creamy and sweet, I definitly smell the coconut here and I love it. I don’t get the “rocker” name, it doesn’t really match the juice. this is a sweet comfort scent. The perfume equivalent of comfort food. I think the naughty remix had more of the rocker vibe but this one is wonderful. My favourite fantasy! This is so creamy and buttery i just love it. The vanilla and cream are so prominent. It is really comforting and smooth. This fragrance just reminds me of a soft silk scarf wrapped around you. i dont see how this fragrance wont appeal to most individuals. Its an instant love for me.
Silage and longevity are superb. i see myself easily reaching for this on cold days. With it’s price tag, it can also easily be repurchased over and over again. x

At first I was scared this smelled too much like the original Fantasy but it does have its own smell it is just similar to the original. It is like the original but instead of kiwi its blackberry and the dry down is creamier. The dry down is very creamy and musky with vanilla. The dry down is the best part for me. It’s so creamy. So lucious. I can smell the base of the original fantasy, but there’s no sharpness to the fruity scent. Its just too clean and creamy to be called “rocker femme fantasy.” It should be called “maiden fantasy” or “Goddess fantasy”.
I can’t wait to wear this all the time. I’m going to start wearing more lotion so maybe the fragrance will stick around just a little bit longer.

To put it simply: if you’re one of those people who sprays whipped cream into your mouth straight from the can because you just can’t get enough, this scent is made for you. I literally get nothing but sweet, sweet, sweet whipped cream from this stuff. It’s perfect for when I’m feeling flirty, and spraying it all over my sweaters just gives me immediate satisfaction. The scent lasts for days on my clothes, but falls flat on my skin after about an hour. Sillage is moderate, which is perfect. Also, I feel like you can’t really overspray this stuff. If you do, it doesn’t cause a headache or drive others away. While I don’t think this is one I’d buy again, I still really enjoy it and will cherish every drop! So here it goes, another one in Britney’s super sweet collection and yet again I totaly love it! It is sweet, creamy, luscious fragrance and I can’t get enough of it! So I have already emptied my 30ml bottle. I don’t really get the coconut note as for me is all about the whipped cream. Going to buy another bottle of this sweet juicesoon.

This is my favorite from the Fantasy line. It’s so creamy and think it’s even better than the original Fantasy, although I love that one too. It becomes even creamier in the cold weather and lasts all day on me. This is my top 5 perfumes for sure.

This smells a little deeper than the original Fantasy. In my opinion, I like this better. The fruitiness smells richer and the vanilla is nice and smooth. I don’t pick up the coconut unfortunately, but it’s still excellent nonetheless. On my skin, I found that this didn’t make it past 90 minutes or so. Still, for $7.99 at TJ Maxx for a large bottle, I’m more than happy!

On my skin this is not a cheap perfume at all. Smooth, creamy, long lasting, very sweet but refined, mature I love it and find it exquisite and very good technically: long lasting with moderate sillage for many many hours.
On someone else’s skin it can be awful (all perfumes are like that, subject to our individual skins and chemical receptors), but that happens with every scent, so I will not denigrate the perfume and only tell that ON ME it wasn’t any good.
All I can say is that on MY skin it was a yummy, delicious, sophisticated creamy very sweet scent that lasted for a long time with moderate projection. It is one of my faves by Britney after Hidden Fantasy.

I blind bought this Rocker Femme perfume after reading all of the glowing reviews here and on Amazon. After spritzing some perfume on my wrist, I immediately regretted it. This straight up smells like some cheap 90s vanilla body spray. There is absolutely nothing special about this. To my nose, it’s a harsh, definitely non creamy vanilla with maybe the tiniest hint of coconut. I’d almost go on to say that the coconut is non-existent, however I have gotten a whiff of it here and there. I allowed it to sit on my wrist for about two hours before I absolutely had to get it off. The worst part? After extensive scrubbing with soap, alcohol and even trying some vinegar, my wrist STILL smelled of this cheap perfume. I’ve learned a very hard lesson with this perfume, yuck!

@ksugrl79, in control curious is similar to this but its a little edgier. More liquor scented than sweet. I love that one. I’m also looking for Maui Fantasy next

I have the 10th anniversary edition and now I got this one – I must admit they are firmly alike, the sweetness is kind of similar to me. The other Fantasy maybe is half an idea stronger than this, while RF is holding onto the cream in it, but it’s not that intensive. I love them both. Probably RF is slightly better for me, but if the original Fantasy is just the same, I’d probably skip the purchase.

On me Rocker Femme Fantasy is creamier, longer lasting and even more delicious than the original Fantasy, because I don’t like orris and the woods in the scent (RF lasts 12 hours on cool temps (85 to 90s), Fantasy 7/8). Love it.

I’d been looking for this everywhere. Finally got it. Id been looking for a less cupcakey version of Fantasy. This was just the ticket. At first spray it’s a bit of a weird mish mosh. Can’t decipher if fruity or creamy. Maybe because of the hot weather & this is a cooler weather scent. However, a few hours later, I do get a nice aroma of berries…not the sugary sweet like Original Fantasy, but a crisp & mellow liquid like the liquer. Then you do get the slight coconut cream. Then drydown is an amazing skin musk & creamy scent. It does last a freaky long time on me like 8-10 hours. Britney’s perfumes always have great projection & longevity on me. Next for me is between Curious Original & Maui Fantasy.

I’ve had Rocker Femme for a while. I forget to wear it. But when I do I always like that I did. One major plus to RFF is the fact it is no where near as heavily negatively sugar sweet as the original Fantasy. It really is just a tweaked original Fantasy, but good tweaking has been done.
