I just sprayed this at WAlmart a few hours ago. I was happily surprised at the sweet almost gourmand smell of this on me. It has been at least 4 hours and I still smell it as if I just sprayed it. Appears this has longevity for a celeb frag. I really like it. Now i wish I had bought it at Walmart today. I thought I could get it cheaper online but even on ebay is more expensive than walmart.
It reminds me of another celeb frag that I know that I already own which is why I didn’t buy it tonight. I cannot yet pinpoint which on it is that smells like this. When I eventually figure it out I will post it.
To me I do not get fruit at all as others have mentioned. It is immediately candy sweet with rum scent. I really have enjoyed this much more than I thought I would.

As far as celebrity scents go this one is the best. It was so good that my mother stole it from me and started wearing it and it’s now on her drawer almost empty, but I don’t mind because it smells amazing on her too. You’re going to get a lot of vanilla, marshmallow and sugar.

To me, this fragrance is a delicious mix of vanilla and rum. I tested this today, and it smells absolutely amazing. The vanilla is sweet but not overpowering. The rum is very subtle at first, and doesn’t make you smell like an alcoholic, which I certainly feared. It would be great for summer nights, not really a beach scent but more of a nighttime fragrance. That being said, I think this is gonna be my winter signature. It’s an amazing scent with a beautiful bottle.

ON ME, I get Marshmallows. That may be why some of you do not smell it, or do not smell it long.. Usually w/ Marshmallow scents OTHERS can still smell it long after you have become asnosmic to it. I read a review below that someone thought it smelled like Escada’s Taj Sunset, which is one of my favorite Escadas. I know we all perceive things differently, but to me they have nothing in common at all. I’ve never liked BBW Pink Chiffon enough to buy it, so I don’t know about that comparison. It’s not as fruity ON ME as Juicy’s Soiree (compared above), it just really smells like Marshmallows. Ppl say that about D&G Pour Femme, & I do get Marshmallow out of that, but other things as well. A light inoffensive scent. A boozy citrus/vanilla/fruity fragrance. I like it as a pick me up refresher spray to keep in my purse, but it’s not terribly unique. Overall it smells nice and blends well with my chemistry, so it’s a good buy!

This was a blind buy, which is rare of me, but it had a discount attatched to it and I have yet to be disappoonted by a Rihanna fragrance(own Reb’l Fleur, Rebelle and Nude) so why not? So far this is the least speacial of all my Rihanna fragrances, but it’s not bad. It’s definitely passion fruit, sweet and sour, kinda there vanilla and casis is surprisingly apparent on me.
Performance wise, I’ve had it wear off in 2 hours, but I’ve also had it stay around from morning to midnight. Sillage tho, I’ve never find to be amazing regardless.
I’m going to have to play around and wear it a little more and it’s definitely not blowing me away the same way Reb’l Fleur and Rebelle did, but for 20 USD for 3.4 oz I’m not disappointed.
Edit: now that I think about it, it smells a bit like Ari by Ariana Grande, which I also own in a smaller bottle. Thought so far Ari smells more sour thanks to the raspberry and RiRi have always dried down to strawberry ice cream on me.

This fragrance is odd… I like the scent but it’s got a bit of a funky undertone. I can’t figure out if it smells like some kind of grain or body odor, but I like it. When I initially got the bottle, it didn’t last long at all – maybe 2 hours. So, I put it down and forgot about it for a few years. However, I wore it recently and it lasted a full work day! I don’t know if it was because it was a super hot day or if the perfume just aged well. It’s not a favorite, but it’s different – which is rare among celebrity fragrances.

I like sweet fruity floral fragrances but had to pass this one as it is NOT what it should smell like in reality (based on the listed notes). There is NO fresh fruits or flowers, nor rum, just plain synthetic of everything in the dry down on my skin. I agree with the term “being cheated” that someone in here did apply to this fragrance in her review.
The tester that I tested had the light Lilac color of the fragrance inside, NOT a bright Pink color as seen in here.
I enjoy Reb’l Fleur much better, even Nude, and found Rebelle more unique than this one in scents. Even though it does not offend any one with sensitivity but it is just like a boring joke. Sorry can’t applaud.

I agree so much with the reviewer below me,this sounded so fabulous by its notes and nose (I love other Steve Demercado perfumes), yet it was just a boring floral fruity with no discernible accords and minimal sillage and longevity. Rum, passion fruit even vanilla were nonexistent on me, I just got synthetic fruits of the children’s medicine variety.

Rihanna like most female celebrities churn out at least one fragrance a year, and who can blame them when you can earn many more millions by simply adding your name to a fragrance. Despite the fact that I have never owned a Rihanna perfume, I did quite enjoy Reb’l Fleur and Rogue for Women, possibly due to the fact that both these releases were quite unique when compared to a majority of the saccharine-sweet celebrity scents on today’s market.
Unfortunately RiRi is a sugary-sweet fruity floral which is not nearly as exciting as Reb’l Fleur or Rogue for Women. It has a tropical vibe with dominant notes of passionfruit, cassis, mandarin orange and an oddly placed rum note which brings to mind Malibu and cocktails on the beach.
If sweet fruity florals are your thing, RiRi would most likely appeal to you. As a fragrance it doesn’t quite suit the edgy, sex-goddess Rihanna we are currently familiar with, RiRi is something I would imagine a much younger, pre-2006 Rihanna would have worn with her long flowing hair and teenage innocence.
Sadly this fragrance doesn’t last very long on my skin. RiRi lasted approximately three hours before it vanished into nothing. I would highly recommend purchasing a miniature or a 30ml bottle so that you can take this fragrance with you if wishing to re-apply throughout the day.

I was expecting a lot more out of this fragrance than what I got. Not that its a bad fragrance but some of Rihanna perfumes that I’ve smelled are really original so I was expecting something interesting based on the notes listed. Its nothing special but its something to have for when you can’t choose between some of your favorite fragrances. The longevity and silage were decent. I wouldn’t recommend paying a lot of money just to get it but if you see it somewhere discounted online or in stores, then try it out.

This smells so much like Pink Chiffon that if you have one you really don’t need the other. It was a blind buy and I’m wishing now I had listened to reviews that said it basically is Pink Chiffon with an added rum note. It’s nice enough but not “different” enough to warrant going out of your way to purchase unless found at a steep discount. It’s very fruity and sweet and will be fine for everyday wear. I initially bought it for the benzoin but I hardly smell that, if at all. Little to no silage and lasting power is two hours on my skin.

Do you remember the strawberry and cream Lifesaver candy? RiRi smells exactly like that candy. This perfume doesn’t smell like a bowl of fresh berries with cream; it smells like synthetic sweet strawberry.
That said, it’s not a bad smell. There are lots of sweet/vanilla/fruit concoctions on the market these days and this is in the middle of that pack. RiRi isn’t special or memorable – either for being good or bad.
I’ll give it to one of my tween relatives.

I am in love with this scent! BUT… I wish the opening lasted longer because it is gorgeous. A tropical combo of passion fruit, rum and vanilla. On me the top only lasts 1/2 hour or so then it drys down to a nice vanilla skin scent. I always test smell, projection and strength on my hubby and his reply was “you smell like a vacation drink”! My thoughts exactly 🙂 P.S. I found this at Ross for 14.99 1.7 oz much cheaper than anywhere else I have seen it so if you have wanted to try this check there, it is more then worth it to me.

Ok so that longevity meter is not correct or people need to spray this on clothes, got it today for my brothers gilfriend and had to try it, the notes are all correct and if you love Reb’l Fleur you will love this too, I don’t need to say anything else about the smell, it’s all listed above, starts with alcohol and quickly becomes sweet, like a little sister to Reb’l Fleur, don’t believe every comment in here, it’s a nice fragrance, if it was Chanel or some other major designer label people would go crazy about it…accidentally sprayed it on my pants (i was sitting) and 9 hours later it still smells amazing, I don’t know why the low longivety vote but it isn’t true, it’s sweet and uplifting, good for all seasons. The bottle is not even close to what it looks like on the photo, the liquid isn’t pink, it’s translucent and if you hold a white paper behind it will show a little lavender color like liquid, it’s an interesting design but without the cap, a heavy bottle and looking very nice on the shelf 🙂 try it, I gotta say, the add fits to the scent, I dare to say, Marilyn Monroe would love it 😉

I want to bathe in this gorgeous scent! This is different than anything I have ever smelled. It’s sweet and fruity with vanilla and a slight musk. The rum note makes it very different. I think this is the perfect perfume for day and night, and for any season. I can see this becoming my signature scent! In addition to the gorgeous scent, the bottle is adorable, and I love that the liquid is pink. The longevity is good (if I spray this on before bed, I still smell lingering traces of it in the morning), and the scent is noticeable but not too strong. Definitely try this if you have not already!

I did a review of this on youtube about a year, and a half ago, and in that time, I am starting to agree with what others are saying. I do get the BBW Pink Chiffon similarities the more I smell RiRi. To me RiRi is grown up a little more than Pink Chiffon due to the rum. I’ve gone through a whole 8oz body cream of Pink Chiffon sometime in 2015. What I would like is Rihanna to make a perfume with champagne in it. I can really smell the vanilla passion fruit, and a slight rum. To me the silage on RiRi is better than Pink Chiffon I think it’s due to the rum in RiRi, and because Riri is EDP, and Pink Chiffon is EDT, if you have that instead of the body mist. I would say percentage wise Riri is between 60 and 70% similar to Pink Chiffon. Also I really like the bottle for this it’s very heavy, and sturdy one of my favorite perfume bottles, even though I don’t drink. I don’t feel like this perfume fits the bottle, with rum in it you think it would be a little edgier, but it’s not. To me this perfume is nice, and simple. A people pleaser sweet in my opinion more for the younger crowd. To me her best, and most mature perfume is Rebelle. Even though I really like Rogue Love. I should be getting Kiss by the end of the week, so we will see. Also if anyone is interested Younkers, Bon Ton Stores online has the 100ml RiRi for $30.

The opening is sickening sweet, it smells like passion fruit bubblegum, very synthetic. I almost had to wash it away, but i waited a little bit. later on, it smells more natural (less synthetic would be a better discription) and almost pleasant, but it is still too childish and overbearing for me.

I am a HUGE fan of 3 of Rihanna’s other fragrances: Reb’l Fleur, Nude & Rogue Love are all VERY nicely done!! I don’t discriminate & smell ALL fragrances–from B&BW, to celeb scents, to the expensive brands–and Rihanna’s are some of the only celeb fragrances that rival some of my nicer perfumes! I had such high expectations for Riri! That being said; when I smelled this at Kohls yesterday, I was so underwhelmed. It wasn’t bad at all…pretty nice actually, but not great. Smells a lot like B&BW Pink Chiffon! This really is a nice, sweet, fruity floral fragrance…..just nothing memorable.

Let’s go back to RiRi..it opens boozy,sweet and fruity.I never tried pink chiffon so I can’t say wether they’re similar or not,but when I first tried it,Britney spears rocker femme was the first thing that came to my mind.they don’t share notes.rocker femme is creamy while riri is boozy but I could feel the same intense fruity sweetness.even I thought there’s berry here,then I could recognize that it’s passion fruit but still It sometimes smells like black berry(like the blackberry note in sweet like candy)which is perhaps for cassis

After some time,fruity sweetness calms down and light florals show up,I can detect honeysuckle in this stage..floral notes add a ladylike quality to the fruit punch,obviously RiRi is not just a childish sweet fruit candy,teenagers will probably love it for it’s fruity and sweet opening but rum and soft whisper of middle and base notes give it more dimension..it is easily wearable by young girls also +30 years olds..I like it in opening part and during middle notes but dry down is my best.dry down is mostly the combination of Musky vanilla and soft florals in a creamy base.
Since I’m a vanilla lover I’ve tried a lot of vanilla dominant scents and you know it’s not that easy to find a summary vanilla scent so I’m happy to find RiRi
Longevity and sillage could be much better.it lasts less than three hours on my skin,it’s last hour being a faint skin scent but a couple of more hours on clothes.
RiRi is not what I love madly but it’s something I like and considering it’s price it’s a full bottle worthy for me.I love it’s bottle,it’s heavy and looks different from any other perfume I have.I don’t know why color of liquid is pink in photos.mine is a very light lavender
However it’s not as original and interesting as it’s notes may suggest,it’s pleasant and trendy.It’s not very memorable and could be more exciting IMHO.if I was rihanna,I’d insist on adding more florals,more sandalwood and benzoin,more rum

Absolutely love this fragrance. After I fell in love with my boyfriend’s cologne, Euphoria by Calvin Klein for men, I decided to go out and try to find a scent that would make him feel as attracted to me as his made me feel towards him.
I tried multiple perfumes but they either smelled soapy or powdery on me, a problem I’ve found my whole life. I came across RiRi and thought it would be funny if this turned out to be “my scent” as my name is Rhiannon and I used to be nicknamed RhiRhi. Sure enough, I tried it on and loved it.
On me it smells like caramel and vanilla, a very thick and creamy scent. The first night I wore it my boyfriend couldn’t keep his hands off me and was kissing my neck through the night without even realising it.
Fragrances smell different on everyone so obviously not everybody is going to like this one, but for me it works and smells amazing!

I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot of fruity scents and they all failed on me…except this one. By failed I mean many things: Either turned sour, were way too sweet and sickly, made me feel like a ‘turn back time’ wanna be, or simply bored me silly.
For me, I think it’s the passionfruit/rum/vanilla combination that works. The rum adds a note that stops me feeling like I am 30 years too old for fruity scents. By no means is this perfume sexy or mysterious – but its certainly friendly and approachable…and sometimes that impression yields greater results 🙂

I think out of all of RiRi’s perfume RIRI is my favorite. I smells a lot like Pink Chiffon by bath and body works but more tropical and boozy because of the added Passion fruit and Rum. I tested this without knowing the notes. I actually thought it smelt like strawberries and ice cream, and as it got sweeter it reminded me of strawberries and white chocolate. I don’t know if anyone can remember a chocolate bar made by Nestle called the “pink panther” (very popular in the 80’s) which smells exactly like this fragrance.
Edit: this is becoming slightly powdery but still retains the “pink Panther” vibe.

I really like this. I bought a small bottle today-it starts out very fruity and transformes itself in more fruit and vanilla which are rather tropical. there is lot of passionfruit going on which I really love but I wouldn’t like just passion fruit and that’s it. Together it blend very well.

Recently bought an unopened 100ml bottle of this from eBay for only $32! The scent is heavenly, it’s a lovely floral/fruity scent that isn’t cloying at all. I first smelled it at Kohls and instantly fell in love. Sillage and longevity aren’t super impressive–it always sits close and I usually get 2-3 hours out of it, but I don’t mind that. It smells /so/ wonderful. I’m so glad I bought this!

I got this for Christmas. I have a lot of perfumes and I can honestly say this is a bit generic. It’s similar to Katy perry killer queen oh so sheer, but this is weaker. I don’t smell the rum that much but I smell the passion fruit. But at the end of everything I got a lot of compliments so far.

I love this but it’s not one of my favourites.
This compositon could have been almost perfect if it wasn’t for the strong powdery character along with the leather-/alcohol scent that could be rum.
I wish they’d do an updated version that’s better.

Smells sssooo good… very tropical-Escadaish. The Longevity and Sillage could be a little better, but I brought this on Black Friday after Thanksgiving, which is Fall weather so I think it will be better during the hotter days.

I love Rihanna’s other fragrances, and I was soooo looking forward to this one. The add, the packaging and especially the bottle is right up my alley 🙂 Very pretty and girly and 80’s Barbie-doll style.
Unfortunately I don’t think the juice itself is as great as it looks. To me it is a tropical passionfruit/pineapple drink on the beach with a very very light touch of vanilla and and a lot of rum. I wish the vanilla was more prominent instead of the fruits. Luckily it becomes slightly more vanilla and turn down on the pineapple in the drydown, but still very tropical/drinky. It can get a sweaty, sour note to it when worn in colder weather I think. Her best bottle, but worst juice 🙁

Beautiful bottle and packing. Tested it yesterday and was somewhat disappointed, let me explain why: I own and love Rogue. In my opinion one could observe a certain development and progress with her fragrances. Developing with her as a person and woman. Now don’t get me wrong here, RiRi (as with all her fragrances) is well made. It smells like a fruit punch and mellows out to a warm fragrance that is reminiscent of her very first perfume. Minus the coconut water. Good silage and longevity. However, I was expecting something more. Maybe more along the lines of Rogue, something bold that doesn’t smell like a cocktail on the beach (a nice cocktail though). RiRi is nice but won’t find its way into my collection.

So addicted to this scent. Something about it reminds me of a scent I smelt in my childhood home. Brings back good memories for me.
The sillage is decent, but the lasting power is not very good. 2-3 hours tops on me. I get the passion fruit and I love the vanilla dry down. I got the holiday set which comes with a shower gel and lotion, shower gel smells good and lathers up well, but it does not last very long after the shower. Not a big fan of the lotion, it smells very cheap. Overall I really do enjoy the fragrance, I wear it day or night. I’ll most likely repurchase 🙂

All Rihanna perfumes I’ve tried are bad except Nude and RiRi.
This perfume is reminiscent of Escada fragrances. If you like “Taj Sunset” you’ll like this one! Definitely a summer perfume since it’s very fruity.

if you love bright sparkling tart fruit, this is for you. the passion fruit is very strong, smells like the plethora of fruit punch colored body sprays at victoria’s secret in a a stronger (edp) version. i happen to love passion fruit smell so when this goes on sale, i will be getting it.

Hmmm, It’s not that bad, but I think everyone expected something different from rihanna. I loved all of her previous fragrances as they were so unique, like Rogue or Rebelle. This one is more generic, it doesn’t smell bad as it’s sweet and creamy, but it lacks that ‘IT’ factor. So if you’re looking for a nice gourmand frag, get it, but if you’re looking for something unique and special this will be a let down for you.

I was waiting for this one to show up in stores. I find her fragrances are a cut above the usual celebrity fare, but this one bucks that trend and smells very much like a standard sweet fuity celebrity fragrance. Someone below mentioned Niki Minaj and they are right. It’s so close it could almost be a dupe.
I really like the old school bottle – it looks great in real life – but the juice is really ordinary. It does have good lasting power which is good news if you are into it.

Pretty simple , but pretty boring. Rebelle is her best fragrance. This is summery but falls flat and a dry teen vanilla is left over on skin and not memorable. Pass. First two fragrances are better.

To me Riri is the fruitier version of Reb’l Fleur. Thinking that almost all mainstream fragrances have started to smell alike nowadays, I think Rihanna’s fragrances are surprisingly interesting enough. Honestly I was avoiding celeb-fragrances until I tried Reb’l Fleur one day and it’s been among my favourite fragrances since then. Well, back to Riri, lovely, innocent fragrance that is not trying to be something extraordinary. It is just lovely and that is enough.
