“Our 16th scent is inspired by a symbolic creature of East Asia – the red-crowned crane (丹頂鶴 / タンチョウヅル). Red-crowned cranes are very often regarded as a symbol of longevity, auspiciousness, and faithfulness. When we designed this auspicious scent, we were thinking of making a scent that contains as many East Asian elements as possible. We wanted to make a scent that evokes the cultural and historical richness of East Asia. And the result? We are happy to say that Red Crown has surpassed our expectation in an excellent way. This is a scent that may soak into one’s soul, bringing inner peace and tranquility, that resonate with the echoes of Tsuru-No-Sugomori. So

I did not expect a lot from this fragrance just by looking at the notes listed. What made me want to discover Red Crown was the Oolong note – I love this creamy green tea and was thinking how nice it would be to have a delicate perfume like that – well, Red Crown it is.
Powdery notes smell vintage in most perfumes that have them, in this one, powder smells more creamy and modern than vintage, reminding of a delicate smell of plumeria a bit, a bit of Feminite du Bois from Serge Lutens (not exactly like that, but the idea of perfume in general, very feminine, very delicate).
This is a super delicate composition, fragile, like the beauty of the dew drops in the morning on a cherry blossom.
