I like it, it smells good. There is no oakmoss listed on the box. The cap is no longer etched. It works subliminally, people smell a confidant man. Didn’t get a chance to smell this when it contained oak-moss, and the cap was etched, so there is no letdown for me personally, my gf likes it which is cool

    Simply appealing fragrance!
Cacharel Pour Homme, Givenchy Insensé, Quartz ………..!
Nice series! …. Brilliant atmosphere similar ingredients …. great “Noses”!
At the iillatnál not dominate the “masculinity” ….
Rather, it is the “art” comes to the fore.
You and the fragrance will be special, with unique …….
There could be a little bolder in the “Sillage” ……
It’s a bit deduct the value!
But it’s safe to say: This is a great perfume is rare!
    90% satisfied !!!
Those who bear the smell of a sympathetic “dash of color” will be a gray world …

I remember reading a review of this one long ago in which the person said it smelled like cool stones or something along those lines. What it seems was being perceived are large amounts of aroma chemicals of the “fresh” variety, most likely plenty of dihydromyrcenol. Not sure about the top notes, because this is too strong for me at first and I definitely have to try and avoid as much of them as possible, but then the “freshness” really gets going. I’m sure this would be a fine school or office scent, especially in warmer weather/climates, but I don’t see it as one the aficionado would be seeking, other than for certain occasions (when the scent worn would be for the sake of others). Where is the jasmine, vetiver, cedar, and moss? I get a lot more jasmine from Green Water, for example (not that I’m a big jasmine fan). It’s a lot less abrasive than something like Wings for Men but this is not the kind of scent I like. I’m still deciding on Baryshnikov Sport and that one has some other things to counterbalance the “fresh” chemicals. My 100 ml bottle will soon be on my swap list (nearly full), for those in the USA who are looking for something like this. Perhaps it was reformulated and the “good” notes were removed or diminished greatly.

It was my second fragrance imported! A timeless classic that everyone should have in their collection.

Despite the spices and the very noticeable cardamomm, I find this scent too transparent, watery, lacking weight and substance. The scent is not unpleasant, and is somehow interesting, but I find it too simple and light, lacking a heavier and more substantial base. It reminds me a bit of Apparition pour homme. I quite like it but with those reservations.Overall, I do not thing its quality is great. I am not being biased because of its more affordable price, because I am usually kinder towards cheaper scents and, I think, righteously, more demanding from the more expensive ones. And I actually think this one is still better than many more expensive fragrances.

Quartz is an interesting, warm, sweet, fruity-spicy. Opens with a tangy blast of blackcurrant-almost like a mulled wine or good compote spiced by a nice clove note that’s quite energizing. The pleasantly sharp, fruity aroma remains, as the woods and amber gently warm the scent.
This used to be one of my faves a while back, I found it by chance, and went back for another 3 large bottles after my initial wearing. I still very much enjoy it especially in the fall, but it’s generally versatile.
Projects well on me as I get noticed very often wearing it, longevity is also quite good; I can smell it on myself all day long..

I don’t consider it as an aquatic. It’s rather a slightly spicy dry citrus. This one is very cheap but smells expensive. Very gentlemanly and restrained. It is sharp and refreshing with a dry edge, perfectly suited for office wear.
Better to be worn in warm weather, though. Unfortunately, Quartz PH doesn’t last long on the skin, and the sillage is below average too.

it has a somewhat soapy vibe about it, but not entirely. The spiciness of the fragrance is evident and shines, while being supported by the quasi-leathery base. Overall it’s the perfect depiction of cleanliness.

I tried this fragrance on high recommendation by Cassiano.
For a 1995 fragrance, this is actually quite an old-world scent. It’s very discreet and definitely a gentlemen’s scent similar to Gres pour homme or even White Linen. It’s a summer scent, fresh and intimate, staying close to the skin. In essence, Quartz pour homme is a light and unique ‘eau de cologne’ style of fragrance.
I would best recommend it for a job interview, a doctor, medical worker, lawyer or even for the man who doesn’t like to wear fragrance.
It is subtle, sophisticated, dressy and gentlemanly; quite mature and serious, in fact.
On me, I did not get the top nor middle notes, but went straight to the base notes of leather, sandalwood, musk and cedar after less than 15 minutes of wearing many sprays. I also know that my skin prefers very strong perfume to stand out.
This is a very lovely fragrance and I’m glad to have it for those particular occasions.
Do buy it if you are looking for those reasons; but if you are a parfumistio who enjoys a more powerful, in-your-face, stand-out scent that makes people take notice of you, then this is not for you.

There are fragrances for which we can have feelings of love or hate for several reasons: either remind us of someone or sometime or somewhere, etc. But in the same way that it’s bad to feel hate for a fragrance that we know is good, just because the memory tied to it, also sucks to be in love with a fragrance that is uninteresting. However, when the perfect marriage between good fragrance and good memories occurs, the love developed is nurtured over the years with total fidelity, even if the relationship is not monogamous (LOL). This is my case with Quartz Pour Homme!
If I’m not mistaken, the year was 2000, I was starting to rise in my professional career, I received a slight promotion at my job and the purchase of this cologne came to change my fragrant world for the rest of my life. Since then I can’t live without a bottle in my collection! I can remember, perfectly, the feeling of going to the store and leave with that box, with lyrics written in silver and with a mixture of power and maturity in my hands. This is funny, because I’ve already a cologne lover, but this was one of my first imported colognes. For months, it was my signature and, luckily, was not a bad purchase. On the contrary, the woody-aromatic scent that dances between the classic and the modern always earned me compliments.
The fragrance is the result of a beautiful mix of blackcurrant with Green Apple, bergamot, galbanum and cloves, just in the output. Can you imagine the sour-spicy smell in its output? In the heart, vetiver, oakmoss, cedar and jasmine and, at base, a clean musk flanked by amber and by the labdanum balm, with its leathery and ambery aroma. It’s a little fresh, citrus, slightly fruity, with a woody base of low density and a delicious aroma. I can’t see flaws in this cologne, I’m sorry.
As some say: “love is blind”!
