This was a blind buy in a lot of perfumes i got online.
How surprised and excited I was to find that this is absolutely gooooorgeus!
Clean, fresh, soapy With an almost tingling sensation from the Orange blossoms.
It lasts so much longer than I thought it would, being such a simple composition. But 4-6 hours, depending on weather/temperature.
So happy With this, and it will be lovely during hot summer months.
    Thanks yet again, Yves Rocher!

I have a coworker who hates fragrance. All fragrances. She gets migraines from many of them and I guess that has fuelled her hate (she’s a lovely woman otherwise, and it’s a real shame that I, as a fragrance enthusiast, can’t wear fragrance around her).
To make a long story short, one day I accidently without thinking put some Pur Desir de Fleur d’Oranger on, forgetting that I worked with her that day. Being in a rush and not having any time to try to scrub the fragrance off, I prepared for a scolding.
    It never came.
Turns out, this is the only fragrance she accepts, so I wear it every day at work, which means that this is my most worn fragrance ever.
Is it my favourite? No. But luckily for me, I like it a lot. It’s a simple scent – on me it’s pretty much straight up orange blossom, not much musk at all. It’s very light, I spray it three or four times and that’s not too much. Staying power is 3 or 4 hours, but I’ve found that I can stretch it for another hour or two by anchoring it with fragrance free body lotion.
To me, this is a sweet scent – but only in personality, not in actual smell. I don’t find it harsh or fake like some other reviewers have reported, I actually think it smells rather true and yes, it does have a slight astringent ‘bite’ to it that I find orange blossom sometimes has, but to me it pretty much smells clean, like fresh-out-of-the-shower clean.
It is discontinued, but I have five 50ml bottles so I’m good for a while. 😉

Am I the only one getting associations to 4711 eau de Cologne? This Yves Rocher is decent to me, but not great. There is something musty about it and I like orange blossoms to be really clean as in Lancome´s L´Orangerie. But I am sure others like it more msuty, like in this. I actually find it too natural smelling, if one could say such a thing. It´s also quite green to me- green and musty like pond water with a hint of orange flower. I actually think I´d enjoy it more on someone else and don´t know quite what to make of it. There is no use in layering it with a stronger orange flower or white flower scent since either they would just eat this up OR this would add the musty note that I can live without. generally this ain´t my thing, even though by no means bad or offensive.

a sheer orange, like a sweet orange chiffon. light and lovely. lasts about 3 hrs on me. a very clean luscious musk orange scent.

It’s a very good take on orange blossom, opening with a sharpness that can be overpowering to some people (and which on some mornings I have to brace myself for). As it develops on my skin, it becomes more subdued, in combination with the musks, and the fleshy jasmine-like quality of the orange blossom arrives in modest whiffs. From 30 minutes to an hour into the scent, it’s at its best, and reminds me a lot of JP Gaultier Classique X, minus the complexity of the vanilla-infused base.
The musks in Fleur d’Oranger aren’t enough to anchor the flowers to one’s skin, and I find myself having to replenish (and spritz lavishly — 3-4 times to really get the feel of it!) several times during the day. Getting to the sensuality of those full-blown white blooms is worth the momentary discomfort of the opening. I’m using this almost daily this summer (a cool northern one: might be a bit much in arid or humid weather) and I’ll miss this when my bottle is done.

This perfume’s head note is sweet, then it turns woody. It is the perfume I’d like to wear on a road trip or when I go hiking. It makes me stand out in those occassions because it allows my friends to see and appreciate the independent and adventurous side of me.

I actually like this. I’m not one for orange scents, I feel they smell like urine in the summer. I bought this on accident online I thought it was a bottle of Pur Desir De LYS. Anyhow, it is soft the orange isn’t overbearing. I’m interested in seeing how it holds up in the summer. If it doesn’t turn into a urine smell nightmare, it will be a great summer scent.

I love smell of orange blossom. This perfume is beautiful…….at first but it turns to smoke scent on my skin like I walked pass the smoking room. Dont know why that. BTW, its cheap price is worth for everyone to try coz Yves Rocher always make the good perfume.

I love this scent, one of my favorites from this line..Doesn’t last too long on it’s own,But it layer’s well with other scents like Chloe,Glow,Breathless… The fragrance last’s longer mixed with other scents that have Orange Blossom…I’m going to try Jennifer Aniston’s fragrance next with this.

Was similarly disappointed when I tried this on–too harsh! Musky, but for me there was also a terrible plasticky FAKE FLOWER note. Headache-inducing as well as cheap.
Granted, I was looking (and still am–any suggestions appreciated) for a warmish but still light gourmand-y orange blossom, which I’m not sure exists. Think Ladurée fleurs d’oranger macarons with a little more caramel and/or ambergris depth–that’s the exact scent I am trying to recreate. If you want green and groves, maybe this will be better… but I’d rather steer you toward Annick Goutal Neroli that, even so.
Like all Yves Rocher, it disappears in a breeze. This makes me anxious.

I didn’t like this at first, but then I became obsessed with it for the entire summer. I feel sexy when I wear it. It’s silly, but I always feel like I’m trying to seduce someone when I’m wearing it out.

I also don’t know the smell of real orange blossom, but this musky and unisex creation, works an interesting magic on me.
Whenever I smell it gives me this feeling as if I was crying a lot and I am done crying and feel much better. It has this strange effect on my sinuses, as if I’m trying to sniff things with swollen noses’ mucous membrane. This must sound really weird, but it’s what I get every time smelling it. So it works very optimistic on me.
Not trynig to be classy or anyhing, just a comfortable casual smell.
It’s sad that they discontinued it, because I believe it is the most beautiful of the series. I have the whole set and the lotion is really lovely too.

I’m from Sweden so I don’t really know what orange blossoms smell like, but this scent smells fresh and light, very clean. Great to splash on if it’s very hot outside and you just want a light and refreshing scent. But it doesen’t last long at all.
I am however a girl that likes my perfumes oriental and heavy, so I mostly use this as an air freshener. Works like that too, for instant fresh home just throw a blanket over the mess and spray this in the air 😉

It’s a strong but also harsh orange scent. You can figure out the musk very well. It’s not so much a perfume, but more a room scent or something.

Little bit of an unisex scent. It also gives me this Hermes un jardin-feeling. Fresh, a bit green, flowers, bit citrus and a little something musky. Staying power is not something wonderful but if it’s your style I think at least for the pricetag, you can live with it 🙂 (especially during the summermonths)

oh.. i baught this one again after trying it several years ago . but i dident reamember that it was so hard on the musky notes. this sadly wasent anything for me anymore.
Well well someone else might like it .

This one really surprised me, it’s a very nice fragrance, it’s citrusy and floral at the same time, which I think is an interesting blend. If you happen to love the smell of orange blossoms like me, you’ll certainly like this fragrance.
It reminds me of Roger Gallet’s Vanille and a little bit of Dior’s Escale à Portofino, I think it’s a good (and cheaper)alternative for these two

An absolutely lovely springtime scent, this really smells like oranges, leaves, orange blossoms and some very nice musk….
I used to live in Arizona and in the springtime, we would get blossoms on all the orange trees and the lemons trees, filling the air with the most sublime citrusy floral aromas. This is like that, with a fruity, juicy undertone and some bitter greens (petit grain?); but, overall the beauty of the orange blossoms dominate this scent. The clean, but musky (and somewhat masculine) drydown adds to the depth of it, rather than overpowering it. Citrusy, airy and sweet: this is spring to my nose, and it makes me smile and warms my heart. This is something that would do equally as well on the right man, as on a woman; due to the very clean (white) musk. There is something in here, beside the flowers, that remind me of sunlight (solar accords?) and happy memories…
    Sillage: okay
    Longevity: good
    Overall: 3.5/5
Somewhat feminine from the citrus blossoms and a bit masculine from the musk and greens, this (yet again) could have been called a unisex scent…but then again…couldn’t they all?!

oh god, i have it.. i was expecting something more fresh and mixed with another things.. but no, smell like home fragrance, and a bad one…

Rough, rough, rough! I like fleur d`orange in perfumes mixed with other notes, but this one is almost masculine, too much musk and it does not add charm to the orange flower.

Fresh and pleasant, ordinary, cute but cheap smelling, I would give it more positive thought if it was to last… but it doesn’t, the silage and power is worse than a body mist. Too bad, it would have been a nice scent…

my bottle of this is just finished. it’s a clean, quite fresh, soapy sort of smell, has something innocent and nostalgic. very effective against stress. they have a whole range of products , shower gel, body lotion, also a shampoo and a bath oil that smell very similar. i definitely want to get it again, also considering it for my niece who is almost 9, would be ideal for a little girl. i think it will be my job to initiate her into the world of perfume!!

Too fresh for me, more like for a little girl (mixed with water)

I got a perfume sample plus regular-size shower gel of Fleur d’Oranger as a gift from YR. After testing and using those products, I must say that it isn’t a fragrance for me. I liked the soft lilac scent out of the Pur Desir range but this one only smells repulsive and nauseating. All I can smell is very sharp and strong (almost pungent) orange blossom and not musk at all. It reminds me of the original citrusy Eau de Cologne which nevertheless has a pleasant and fresh smell contrary to Fleur d’Oranger.

This is so fresh and positiv to me, i love the lotion, you can smell even the lotion the whole day, soft and feminine, tender and positive smell (the orange blossom), i could sniff myself all the time wearing it, the prize is amazing for this.
As long as this fragrance is available, i will have it for sure…
    I JUST LOVE IT!!!
