A very familiar 90s floral composition, Protagonista is a charming and nostalgic perfume for me, I am certain someone I know was wearing this in the 90s. I find it a true white gardenia themed floral, with jasmine and a hint of tuberose ensuing in the pyramid. It has a clean and somewhat soapy quality, and I sense some orange blossom too, even though none is listed here. The initial spray is strong but mellows quickly, the drydown is pleasant soft and musky (the clean type).
Beautiful and a bit old fashioned, but lovable nonetheless.
