Description
French cosmetics house Veld’s launched an innovative fragrance formula, the result of “neuro-cosmetics and olfactory therapy”, which supposedly assists in the process of losing weight. The formula of Prends-Moi (“Take Me”) perfume contains “Betaphroline” that induces beta – endorphins, hormones of happiness, which stimulate the feelings of well being and reduce stress and desire to overeat. In addition, it also contains caffeine, carnitine and spirulina algae extract, the combination that activates enzymes involved in degradation of fat.
The fragrance was launched in 2011 in France and since 2012 it is available in other counties as well. Its floral – fruity and aquatic composition is developed by Robertet perfumers. Top notes are bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit. The heart is composed of jasmine, ylang-ylang and lilac, while the base consists of patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla and white musk.
Available in bottles of 100 ml.

I can easily imagine this suppressing the appetite – in me it induces nausea. Seriously.
To me this smells cheap, synthetic, screechy and unpleasant. It gives me a headache too.
The bottle and box project a kind of clinical efficiency I suppose. I guess I look for something else in a perfume – beauty, romance, that kind of thing.

Lovely smell, not too overwhelming… It’s not a miracle but it has some positive effect on my appetite, though noone would be able to estimate “happiness” 🙂

Oh, yes! The bottle is super, like a mirror. The reality looks better than the picture, the main thing that is not peeled quickly. Complex citrus smell and very reminiscent of Leiber Judith Leiber, very expensive smells. I do not know how there side effects, but as perfume – super!

I just got my fingers on it! And I can say this doesn’t smell bad at all! It doesn’t have a “WOW” factor, it’s true, but it’s definitely a nice, pleasant, light frag… In the opening I detected grapefruit; jasmine and lilac in the evolution and slightly woody jasmine in the dry down… as to the other benefits I still cannot say if it really works, it requires more time to be sure, will see it… It’s not a perfume I would buy just because of its scent, but if it has the capacity of decreasing stress, enhancing wellbeing and at the same time slimming effect, then I will not mind wearing it when staying at home or to sleep 😉
