Paradise by Shaneela Rowah Al-Qamar is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Paradise was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Shaneela Rowah Al-Qamar. The fragrance features taif rose, damask rose, white flowers, saffron, amber, white musk, sandalwood, cambodian oud and indian oud.

This is a nice little number. Right after aplying I was reminded of a few Arabic oil samples from Rasasi that I bought some 4-5 years ago. Floral, nice, just that. But after 30 minutes or so the roses start coming to the foreground, and that’s when I realised this was a little more than just nice. A lot of thought and love obviously went into this composition, it is perfectly balanced, not just some notes thrown in at random. There’s a subtle dry smoky Oud to keep it all a little more interesting and mysterious. Personally I’d like to see the Oud note amped up.
This review was based on a single testing from a sample. I will wear it again to decide if I need this in my wardrobe or not. For now it’s a definite possibility.
EDIT: I’ve worn it three times now and I’m liking it more and more. It’s more rose than Oud, but it’s such a lovely rose. Today I’m wearing it over a pure Oud oil and it’s a perfect match. Paradise has made it to my want list.
