Description

L`Occitane en Provence and Pierre Herme “The Picasso of Pastry”, as he is known worldwide, will present three limited collections aimed at the upcoming holidays. The flacons were designed by Olivier Baussan who shaped them like cookies, shaping them in style of L’Occitane brand and previous editions of the house. The new holiday flacons were created in frames of long-lasting friendship of the owner of L’Occitane, designer Olivier Baussan and Pierre Herme, with the intention to highlight the talents of each of them and to include them in this luxurious collection, and that the new limited extraordinary collection also celebrates the skill in creating fragrances and the craftsmanship in baking the best pastry and macaroons.

Three new collections which include EDTs and rich perfumed assortment of accompanying products will be in sales at L’Occitane stores starting from October 28th 2015. Various sets including different products were also prepared, to facilitate the customer’s selection. The limited collection perfumes were named after key ingredients: Pamplemousse Rhubarbe (grapefruit-rhubarb), Jasmin Immortelle Neroli (jasmine-immortelle-neroli) and Miel Mandarine (honey-mandarin).

Pampelmousse Rhubarbe is the freshest fragrance of the collection providing a luminous union of grapefruit and rhubarb. The fragrance opens with grapefruit and rhubarb enriched with lavender and musk in the heart. The base is created of precious wood. Besides EDT as 75 ml the collection includes body lotion, shower gel, perfumed soaps, perfumed powder and perfumed hand cream.

    L’occitane bunu yeniden üretmeli.
Harika bir unisex narenciye parfümü idi.
    So sad discontinued 🙁

Word of advice for those interested: for as much as I like the scent, the bottle atomizer is really badly made. It tends to stop working every now and then, especially the perfume is running low. I had the same experience with the tester in the shop and the one I bought so I can assume all bottles must be the same.

Summery fresh zesty crispy grapefruit. A superb combination of sweet, bitter and fresh if you ever encountered that before in a fragrance. This fragrance does not claim to be a masterpiece in the art of perfume-making so I don’t judge it as such. It is a beautiful NATURAL scent and that’s why I truly appreciate it and thank the perfumer at L’Occitane for making it so that I can now enjoy it. For those of you that are interested: it’s definitely a skin scent that needs reapplying for freshening up throughout the day.

gorgeous citrus with poor sillage and longevity…real shame

Fresh, tangy, zingy, sour, almost bitter, but nonetheless mouthwatering and truly vivifying. One of the most realistic citrus scents that I have ever smelled. To smell this is like to cut a fresh red orange on a glass board with a new knife. Worth of trying (the Jasmin-Inmortelle-Neroli, launched along with this, I find boring, too sweet and kinda generic). Projection and sillage are weak, though. The bottles and boxes are very chic and truly Parisian. A bit overpriced, too.
    Perfectly unisex.

I tested this at the L’Occitane store yesterday, and liked it enough to buy a set to share with my husband, who also enjoyed it.
Initially I was uninterested in trying it due to the mention here of a musk note. However, musk is not included in the notes printed on the paper testing cone at the store, nor do I smell musk when wearing it.
This is what the cone had printed on it:
top notes: Rhubarb, Grapefruit, Lemon, Cypress
    heart notes: Clove, Nutmeg, Lavender
    base notes: Cedar, Vetiver
If you are a grapefruit fan, give it a try. 🙂

I received a sample of Pamplemousse Rhubarb body lotion and fell in love. Amazing smell! Couldn’t stop sniffing it! Decided to buy a perfume, tried it and got disappointed – it didn’t have a charm of lotion smell. So I ended up buying lotion and using it as a perfume. 🙂
About smell overall: it’ light sweet, tart with a hint of bitter.

I am in the Dallas airport and I just bought this. I sprayed it, walked around a bit and had to have it! It is probably more appropriate for summer, but it’s almost 80 degrees in Texas at the moment. This has a light and sweet-citrusy smell. I love it! I don’t have any other fragrances that smell like this and it’s a limited edition, so I am glad I picked it up while I could! It’s yummy!

This is an “Eau de Cologne” inspired fragrance. The grapefruit is the star here and rhubarb just provides more tartness as support. It reminds me of Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino if anyone wonders how this smells like.
