Really awesome topnote. Puts a big smile on my face. Everything explodes out at once: dry pistachio, vanilla, coconut, rhubarb, green freshness. I think this is the main attraction. But then this quickly dries to a nutty tonka fragrance that is equal parts sweet Amaretto and dry hay. I guess I never thought about the smell of coumarin because I’ve never smelled it bare bones like this. It takes getting used to. All in all, worth trying for the opening alone. And stick around to find out whether you enjoy coumarin or not.
PS: Just as the brand warns, this stuff is super potent when it dries down with insane staying power. Proceed with caution.
