Oud Rouge Intense is a unisex woody oriental Eau de Parfum whose top notes start with sizzling citrus complemented with pink pepper. Rich sultry exotic woody accords add intensity and the harmony of cedarwood, patchouli and sandalwood come through in the base, enhanced by oud. Oud Rouge Intense was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Guillaume Flavigny.

The information from Fragrance du Bois above states:
“All Du Bois fragrances are created using 100% pure, organic Oud oil and other sustainably-sourced ingredients.”
The company is based in France (i.e. in the EU), will be compliant with IFRA and be subject to stringent checks. For all of these reasons, it’s highly unlikely that the oud in the fragrance is “cypriol oil” as you allege.

A Creed Royal Oud wannabe. Seems to me that the “oud” note is actually cypriol oil.

Okay, yes it smells a bit like Creed’s Royal Oud as someone else has mentioned. But it smells deeper and better. It feels less synthetic and more natural for sure. Oud is not prominent, it’s more like a musky, wooden, peppery, patchouli fragrance. Oud may contribute to the depth though and the oud is well balanced and not of the sharp kind. Rather masculine I would say. I like it.

I have to agree with Gabril031982,this smell a lot like Royal Oud with a heavy dose of pink pepper at the top with a more refined oud.Overall smells great and if I didn’t have a full bottle of Royal Oud I probably would be after this instead.

This gives off a Jubilation vibe with more oud. Smells great!

A very dry woods, mainly sandalwood mixed with a good amount of ceder and pink pepper adds a considerable spiciness. All these dry woods are well coupled with earthy patch and some oud. It is intense and in your face in the opening and definately a rouge feel.good blend and seems to be a good performer. Considering the price poin, I am not sure.i consider this as a woody spicy fragrance.beware of number of sprays as this can choke out easily.
