Oily, dark leather and pungent oud- these are what dominate this scent. It’s almost even gasoline-like- both literally and figuratively, since this “perfume” (if you can call it that- it’s almost too feral for that title) is dark, heady, and viscous. After a while during the drydown, a shy rose peaks out, adding a touch of sweetness, though it is very subtle. Definitely not for the faint of heart, or those looking for people-pleasing scents. Mazzolari’s Oud borders on unwearable for me, a young woman, but it would fit anyone who is both masculine and brave enough to wear it. So unlike anything else I have smelled; a pleasure to test!
