    Smells good but projection is blaah. Even after 5-6 sprays I dont get any sillage ,i need to dig my nose to get the smell.

    Shades of Tom Ford era Gucci Pour Homme (2003) and its recent homage in the form of Bentley for Men Intense (2013). But where Bentley is but a shadow of its inspiration, this juice is a faithful study in imitation of the master and something more.
    The something more, in this case, being an echo of Tom Ford era YSL M7 (2002). There is same precise vibration of Firmenich’s Black Agar “oud” which the nose interprets as black cherry. The first five minutes is stunning.

    I actually like this smell a lot, not as a cologne but as a room spray. It beats many other cheaper rooms sprays hands down. Diptyque makes some wonderful room sprays as did Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier

    Pepper is very intense in the opening, but it fades very quickly and then becomes an oriental spice bomb! This is that kind of scent I like but wouldn’t wear.

    It clearly remembers me of Amouage Jubilation XXV.So far I don’t own any of those 2 fragrances but I am about to aquire 1 of them after trying testers of both.
    They are really similar. I think I’ll go for the cheaper one – Armaf Oud.
    I tryed to mark this similarity between fragrances but the “This perfume reminds me of” BOX does not allow me to do so. I wonder why this happens here and in some other fragrances as well..

    someone forgot to put OUD in it, LOL 😛

    NO, simply a big NO!!!
    in simplest words, this smells like drawer of indian spices in my kitchen. There is no oud, there is no vanilla or anything interesting in it. I gave it wearing at 3 different times in different weather hoping it will smell better or might evolve a bit but it starts with the smell of indian spices drawer and ends the same. It would not even suit an old man.

    Not sure if I like it or not. This smells like the interior car scent of an old taxi in Turkey. I have smelled this before. But from another perspective, it also smells niche-made, strange right ? That’s why perceptions are also very important in the world of fragrances.
    I get an amber-bomb in the opening, with slight hints of Oud or something they tried to make it smell like Oud. There’s also something dirty smelling, dirty in an natural earthy way which I think is the patchouli. This part is the worst to my nose.
    Midnotes and drydown are relatively better, however not my cup of tea. Too bold for me, perhaps something to wear only to formal nights/events.
    An exclusive winter scent, which is too strong in the first 30 minutes, then it tones down to reasonable levels but long lasting. Not the Oud I’ve been searching for especially Bergamot and Sage listed down in official notes, so overall it’s 4/10.
    UPDATE: Yep, I don’t like it and probably will never like it. It smells very middle-eastern or something like a very rich old lady but without style. There’s something in it which I think also the case with Aramis Devin, which was an immediate throw away for me. Not safe for blind buy, not for everyone, so please watch out or review very carefully.

    Can’t get enough of this beauty. I love it.

    This is not your typical oud perfume. Actually oud is almost not detectable here.
    This is strictly a winter scent. Very warm, spicy, leather, amber. It doesnt smell like the usual oud-based oriental fragrances.
    Great value for money.
    Longevity and projection are good.

    butifull. And niche quality.
    this is sweet with hint of leather and wood behind it just a hint ..it also has a little burnt rubber note, remmind me of swiss arabian kalimat but for 10 minutes.
    Very very smooth relaxing scent and warm scent.
    has a little metallic note.
    defenetly a step up for armaf.
    butifull blind buy .
    Only After the 10th hour Its starting to be quiet and fading
    For 9 hours its still strong on my skin and leaves a
    Trail. I fell in love with this one after 3 days when I began to understand it. This is a jam a brilliant perfume
    I’m gonna stock on that one.
    Its now very hot in my country and humid 35 Celsius and 60%- 70% humid. Its good no problem and I feel
    That in winter and fall it would be ideal of course
    I recommend this with all my heart ..enjoy

    After the opening spices and citrus burns off, this fragrance becomes a more subtle version of Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi and Dark Rebel Rider by John Varvatos, but mixed with a strong vanilla note. I’m not sure that I get any oud, but it’s still a very pleasant fragrance.

    Never smelled real Oud, so I can’t say how this approximates that. I do know that the vast majority of Oud flavored designer scents don’t contain actual Oud though, so that’s not a knock. I do get that note scent profile I get in M7 minus the cough syrup vibe. This is more in the vein of a warm resinous wood. People that are saying amber are close, but I still get an amber almost wood resin. I actually love this scent. I don’t have a ton of experience with Oud, but M7 and Oud Wood, but I’d think this smells more deep and woody than either of those. I absolutely love this Niche line from Armaf because they are scents that stand out, and are top tier quality. Even though Platinum, and White Diamonds are more wearable, especially in the Summer, as people pleasers or high quality, this one is my guilty pleasure fave of the bunch. I just love the strength and dark wood smell this conveys. Probably want to try before you buy though because it’s a bit on the daring side. Not too much, but enough to make sure you want something like this before you go in blind. It’s a heavy amber resin wood smell. It’s really good, but not generic or in the model of modern convention. I’d find more situations to wear this than M7, but think of it as certainly as a comparable type of frag.

    I got this scent because an acquaintance of mine had it and I had always wondered what it was. He finally told me so I picked up a bottle. When I smelled it on him (drydown), it was almost like a bubble gum type scent to my nose. However, when you first open the bottle and take a whiff, it smells just like an incense stick.

    Sharp sandalwood, clove and oud like combo is what I detected.
    Armaf Marjan which isn’t in the data base at present is along the lines of the above but with the TF white patchouli vibe.
    I wasn’t keen on either compared to the woman’s club unit and intense version.

    I signed up for this website to review this fragrance (due to it not being on Basenotes surprise surprise lol). THIS IS IN NO WAY LIKE AMOUAGE JUBILATION XXV. This is VERY similar to Tiziana Terenzi’s Laudano Nero (which is very close to Black Afgano by Nasomatto). This is substantially restrained in comparison to the most Laudano Nero and for 1/3 the price. For 30ish US dollars it’s ok if you are into super powdery unisex fragrances. This is a try before you buy for sure. I do not like scents of this nature so this is going straight to ebay lol.

    I was sucked into the review that likened this to Jubilation XXV and bought blind as it was on offer.How wrong it turned out to be.From first spray all I got was a striking similarity to Ambre Sultan.I have tried Jubilation before though don’t own yet and I cannot for the life of me see at what stage-not even drydown these two share any commonality.
    If Ambre Sultan is weaker and does not last or project well on you,then try this.This is a more rustic version to the smoother Luten’s.
    I was disappointed I hadn’t found a clone of Jubilation but can now use this as much as I want knowing I have a backup bottle albeit with a different name stashed away.
    Great buy for the price and scent

    Very little, if any, oud in this. Misleading name. A rather uninspiring fragrance heavy on the amber and with disappointing longevity and sillage. The suggestion below that this resembles Jubilation XXV is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever heard.

    I sprayed it this morning before looking at the notes. Oud is not listed and that is strange to me. Not because of the name but because I totally get western oud from this.
    The opening seemed light but 5 minutes in and it was kickin. Right now a little over an hour and I am getting some oud and vanilla. The western oud I am getting could very well be the cedar with vanilla and smoothed out with the amber. To me this is a standard oud vanilla amber mix with some leather and patchouli. It is a little spicy too.
    So far it is better than expected. If it performs well I would recommend it at this price point for sure.
    Note I do not get Jubilation XXV at all. Not even a little! Amber Sultan I do get that similarity
    More to come
    Update
    I got a good 6 hours before this is starting to sit close to the skin. I can still smell it on my clothes and the wife could smell it when she was close. This is 11 hours in. So pretty good performance
    Don’t get me wrong here. I have sampled several true oud oils and this is not that! It does however smell of the western oud most of us recognize as oud. It remained smooth a sweet with some spice. If you can find this at $35-$40 US I say it is worth a shot.

    رائحته تشبه الى حد كبير رائحة امواج جيوبيليشن 25 والافضلية لامواج بلا شك ولكن يبقى هذا العطر منافسا بشكل قوي نظرا لادائه العالي و سعره الممتاز اذ يمكن تحصيله بقرابه ال 30 دولار
    العطر جيد جدا و رائحته جميلة جدا و ادائه جيد جدا كذلك
    اذا كنت من محبي العطور العربية سيعجبك هذا بلا ادنى شك
    الرائحة= 8/10
    الثبات= 8/10
    الفوحان= 8/10
    —————————————————-
    Smells just like Amouage jubilation 25 with the advantage for the Amouage but this perfume is still a very strong competitor duo to its high performance and the perfect price as you can get it for around 30 USD
    The fragrance is very good, very good smell and very good performance also
    If you like Arabian fragrances you will surely love this
    Scent = 8/10
    Longevity = 8/10
    Projection = 8/10

    If you are familiar with oud, this will smell like oud and they either have an oud oil in this or are trying to replicate the scent of oud. I will say that they are trying to do the latter as it transforms from a harsh spicy pungent oud and within an hour becomes a sweet slightly woody scent that is soft.
    Not good with performance and scent. A big dislike and disappointing scent

    This smells like Jubilation XXV Man by Amouage.

    I get a “root beer/cream soda” vibe from this much like Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo – Mandorlo di Sicilia. It also has a Van Cleef and Arpels Midnight in Paris feel to it with the vanilla.
    You can smell the vanilla and leather in this one. Not offensive and would be a great winter/fall scent. The presentation is also very nice for it being priced around $60. Edp concentration which is also a bonus.

    Great scent. This smells like Serge lutens Ambre Sultan. Serge didn’t last or project on me, but this sure does. Wonderful scent, and a really nice presentation.

    Despite the name, there is no Oud either in the pyramid or noticeably in the aroma of this frag. It is a semi-sweet vanilla/spicy/amber concoction with an overall moderately dark tone. The packaging is more niche than the juice. It does look nice.
    Projection/sillage are weak. Longevity is middling. This one strikes me as pleasant enough, but nothing special. It seems to be constructed as a cuddle scent, and for that purpose it probably will do fine. A plus is that is does smell fairly natural, there’s nothing sharp or screechy about it.
    Price point was $59.99 USD, so it could be a cheap alternative to niche offerings in the same ballpark (e.g. Guerlain SDV), though as a cheap alternative I would actually recommend Eau des Missions or 24 Gold over this.
