Otto Kern is launching a new fragrant pair in in 2014 under the name Otto Kern Commitment which includes men’s and women’s fragrance with modern compositions inspired by business challenges and defined stricter dress code. OTTO KERN COMMITMENT MAN fragrance for men was created for charismatic and sophisticated business people who like citrusy-spicy blend of notes. The composition opens with energetic and explosive citrus notes of grapefruit and lime, further chilled with blue mint. Heart is dominated by spicy accords of fiery cardamom and nutmeg, intoxicated by vermouth, and the base is built around timeless vetiver, which along with cedar accords leaves a dominant and elegant signature. The composition for men is signed by perfumer of the house of IFF, Veronique Nyberg.
The new fragrant pair comes in glass bottles, crowned with dark, elegant caps while the letters on glass surfaces are in metallic silver color. Delicate apricot color was selected for the fragrance, while the fluid of the male scent is in gray-blue shades, which poses contrast to dark blue outer packaging. The range of collection includes eau de toilette, accompanied by perfumed body care products. Peter Schmidt is designer of the collection, while Markus Jans is photographer of advertising campaign of the Otto Kern Commitment collection.

Although its performance is rather weak, the scent itself is really nice.
Definitely a summer scent but for Hotel Lobbies,Pool bars etc..
It’s a light fresh and bitter scent.

Too bad this perfume is not sold outside Germany. I use to buy it when i go there and i love it. If i had access and could buy it in my country, it would have definitely be my daily signature perfume. Very masculine and modern expensive smell with great longevity and sillage for it’s price. I do not like the other Otto Kern Men Fragrances, but I love this one.

Just from the sounds of the notes listed, we may have a Guerlain Homme type in our sights, but with martini instead of mojito . This still sounds intruiging and will definately try. Looking forward to when it is more widely released in the next few months.
