This to my nose at least smells very much like leather, and more leather!
I find it hard to understand why someone would want to spray themselves with it and smell like this but it is what is is, a high quality leather scent, so if you like the smell of cowhide you’ll no doubt love it. Not for me though.

My friends and boyfriend don’t think this smells like leather. “It smells like perfume..? I don’t get it.” Well, I don’t get THAT. This smells like leather and perfume to me. A soft, supple, and dark leather that is well-worn and expensive, and the ghost of an expensive perfume. Admittedly, if I spray it on my coat it turns more perfume than leather. On the skin, it works better.

I haven’t tried too many Tom Fords, but the (feminine) ones I’ve tried just don’t do anything for me at best—I dislike them at worst. However, Ombré Leather (2018) is the first one I’ve tried that has impressed me. It’s such a smooth, creamy, expensive-smelling leather scent—perfectly balanced right from the start.
Now, I personally would not wear this, but I’ll definitely pass it on to my husband to try. One other reason this isn’t for me: it left an oily spot on my skin where I sprayed it, and unfortunately I started to feel a bit of an itch there within a minute. I left it on for about five minutes so I could smell the scent a bit more, but I did eventually have to wash it off. I’ve had very bad skin reactions to scents before, and I didn’t want to risk it. After soaping it off, I no longer have the itch on my skin, though I do still smell the perfume! It’s a bit woody/oud-y, now.

Immediately felt in love with this fragrance. More of a masculine animalic leather vibe mixed with cardamom and amber, i’m not sure if a woman could easily wear this without noticing the “man’s leather” on her.
Not the best performance though, something like 2-3 hours of longevity and projection on my skin. Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t stay on you for a very long time! It has a better performance on clothes though.
If you’re looking for a tank of longivety don’t go with it, more like a parfume that stays and dries on YOUR skin and doesn’t bother the others much. Women love this! Don’t be the type of guy that sprays all over him with this type of fragrance, this is something to keep for yourself!
Perfect for “chocolate” skins or a man over 27 years old!
4,5/5 Stars (0.5 for quick drydown)

Toned down leather compared to Tuscan leather, the raspberry note has been replaced. all in all i think it is a more casual version of tuscan leather and to my nose reminds me of Golden boy by Dueto parfums.

Smooth leather without the annoying raspberry note from Tuscan Leather. For me perfect. Love it!
And I like that black heavy bottle with the leather label. It feels great when you hold it in your hand.

A bit of life context might help. For over a decade and a half, I’ve been all about Creed & Bond #9 fragrances. They are great, but there’s NOTHING like this fragrance. Definitely masculine, definitely strong, definitely long-lasting. Honestly, one of the top 3 fragrances I have EVER worn in my entire life! An amazingly fresh but smooth and deep mix of leather, patchouli, amber, and moss! Of course, haters gonna hate, and losers will be losers, but this fragrance is a total winner! Love. It.

I guess Tom Ford tossed the “poor folk” a bone, zapping the opulence and luxuriousness of the original and revamped it as a “basic version”. Kind of like buying “Tide Simply” when I’m too broke to buy regular Tide…American readers will probably get that one. At first spritz, IT IS too much like Tuscan Leather. I hate fruity notes and that “berry” gets annoying the first hour. But, as the day progressed, it mellowed into a rich, spicy leather with wonderful patchouli that lingered for hours. It is a beast! I will concede that much. This perfume is perfect for burying your nose in while using public transportation!!! I’ll have to hit-up my local outlet to buy the ORIGINAL soon…like it, but it’s not quite the same somehow! Both do remind me of that fantastically fABuLoUs and tragically defunct ‘Fendi per Donna’/Fendi Fendi.

First impression is memories of 1970’s department stores if the fragrance counter and the men’s shoe department were near each other. I mean this in the best possible way. I have not done a full-day test with my two samples yet, but this one could temp me to a full bottle. Sigh; the price. My other TF favorite is a Violet Blonde that I happened upon in a high-end thrift store. In short, may I suggest to leather-lovers, get your hands on sample. Price-wise, I just don’t know….Skinnydippandan makes a good point!

Up front, Ombre Leather reminds me of a hot day in a leather shop. Creamy Italian leather bags, fresh black leather shoes, maybe a petrol-tanned leather whip or three… it’s leather, leather and some more leather, with only enough supporting notes to elevate that leather without getting in the way.
After a good 30-60 minutes, I get what must be a combination of patchouli and some other earthy note that for me brings OL in the direction of an earthy rich dankness – like a cross between the darkest cacao and the slightest bitter cannabis edge. As it continues to evolve, there emerges a subtle sweetness that progressively blurs OL’s edges into a silky smooth finish that sits close but lasts for hours.
All in all, Ombre Leather is intriguing to say the least, and definitively not bad. At the same time, it’s not exactly a crowd pleaser per se, and I imagine it being a bit challenging for those who tend toward fruity or aquatic fragrances. To my nose, this is a late fall to early spring scent that screams of civilized rebellion against the fascism of all that is boring and usual. It’s a “smooth lambskin leather jacket, t-shirt, jeans and boots” kind of fragrance.
*Not at all* like Tuscan Leather with that polarizing blast of raspberry (which I honestly do like) – nope, just animalic leather that manages to strike both fresh and dank notes at the same time. If that’s your jam, this stuff will sing for you.
In case you haven’t noticed, I like this one. 🙂

Received a sample of this, and assumed I would like it based on the notes, but I just can’t with this one. I know I shouldn’t judge it based on the 30 seconds I had it on my skin, but have you ever walked into a house after someone’s just cleaned everything with bleach? Well that’s what this smelled like to me. Immediately had to scrub my wrists and attempt to cover it up. I’ve never had any luck with any of the Tom Ford fragrances I’ve tried though. I’m sure this probably smells nice on other people but I am not one of them.

This cologne smells like you’re wearing a brand new leather jacket. If you ever sat inside a brand new Ferrari this is what it smells like. Very masculine very strong. Something about it keeps making you smell your wrist and saying Wow…

  13. :

    5 out of 5

Hooray! Finally got it and wore a couple of days. Yeah it smells a way similar to Tuscan Leather, but softer and smoother. And the “honored” clone – La Yuqawam smells like cheap trash compared to this.
It’s a skin scent almost from the start. So it does not project far from your intimate zone, but it’s okay, this thing is for you, not for others. And people who don’t like leather fragrances and joke like “You smell like a bag or shoes store”, you know… I don’t give a f..k. Just train your nose on some Dylan Blue or Aventus and then come back.
Not for a young crowd. Over 25 years. Put on your leather jacket, daring look, Ombré Leather and light the night!

    I’M IN LOVE
I became aware of this recently, though didn’t expect to either smell it today nor love it enough to buy it. I saw Neroli Portofino zooming past the fragrance section at Dillard’s and quickly sniffed it before someone bothered me when suddenly I hear a young lady’s voice inquiring to me. I’m like, “great…” I politely let her ramble on and smelt whatever random frags she sprayed on paper strips, of which, one was Tom Ford Ombré Leather, which she claimed to like on men. I got nothing but a strong pure leather smell like the type of a black leather jacket. I liked it. Well, the scent evolved and became sweeter and I liked it even more. The amber poked it’s head — A special amber that I’ve not smelt and I usually hate amber. I eventually came to the conclusion that I was in love. Turns out this has jasmine, a scent I cherrish, next to the leather. My mother and I couldn’t get over how lovely this smelt on the way home.
Overall, it smells handsome. I found it funny that the advertisement is cowboy themed because I was getting that kind of vibe. This is a tall man dressed in black boots and hat. Best for evening/nights from spring to fall. Probably too suave and showy for the office but perfect for formal events or clubs.
I would love to thank that gorgeous middle eastern lady at Dillard’s who introduced me to this. I’m set on buying this, and I’m the type of person to be depressed over not considering any frag worth buying.
ps. I saw a person below say this is like a horse saddle. You shouldn’t have rubbed it off that early. You missed out on the depth this evolves into.

Agree with @SmokeySings78 below, this another WOW-fragrance! 🙂
So glad I blind bought it based on the POSITIVE reviews below.
This is a comforting, LONG lasting smell that transform from a burst of ‘Tuscan Leather-ish’ vibes the first couple of minutes, to an oud-ish (maybe it actually is the amber notes?) skin scent that lasts and lasts.
I’ve been with this perfume (one spray) since early morning after my daily exercise until now, evening, 8 hrs later.
My best companion this day (besides my wife of course!)

Oh wow, this is a sexy one.. Marketed as unisex, and I see some of the reviewers here saying this leans more masculine, but I disagree..If anything this one to my nose leans slightly more feminine..And, I see a lot of the reviews basically saying this does not last longer than it takes to get dressed, but I disagree with that, as well….Yes, this is a soft scent (more of a skin scent), but on me this lasts a good 6 or more hours, and that is 3 or 4 sprays.
I actually love that this is a skin scent, to me that makes it more special..to pull your loved one closer.. 😉 I don’t always want or need a fragrance that everyone at the mall or coffee shop can smell 5 or even 10 feet away..
I can’t really pick apart the notes, so this is well blended. There is a definite subtle warmth to this. Will be great for colder months. I guess the only note I can detect is the leather, but it is very soft, not dominating at all, and perhaps the cardamom….I pick up a very slight sweetness on the drydown….did they maybe forget to list vanilla or some other note..? Yummy….Pull me closer and ohhh yeah…. xx..To the top of the wishlist this one goes for me!! ❤️❤️❤️

Im not quite following the bad performace reviews.. ive owned it for a couple of months and get good performance. 6-7 hours is fine by me especially for the type of frag it is. On clothes can pretty much smell it until theyre washed. Maybe people are trying this and buring their nose in it straight away – resulting in fatigue. Cause this definitely aint weak!

wonderful scent if it, ,only, could last more than a few minutes!

Here’s my take. The 2016 scent of the same name I nearly bought but after several testings abandoned it because it just evaporated within minutes. As such I never got to know it in depth. This one because of its affordability I chanced it. And the gamble paid off. It does last plus I was walking to work and I thought who is wearing mugler alien? It was me, in a butch way. I’d read there was jasmine involved but remained to be proved. To me this could be Alien man, that horrible lame offering that hurt my heart. Well done Tom. Now get with the programme and give us working people gorgeous scents that don’t cost the earth.

Sampled this and wore it to work. It starts out smelling very similar to Tuscan Leather but suddenly changes and is a more smoother version without the raspberry sweetness. This is definitely more wearable than Tuscan leather. The leather note smells expensive and it has a spiciness to it. I can smell the patchouli in the background too. This is the perfect leather fragrance. The bottle looks great. I have to say this is beast mode on my skin!! I sprayed it on in the morning and I could still smell it on myself gone 8pm in the evening. I have ordered a 100ml bottle and cannot wait for it to arrive. To received 4 compliments from people in work in one day is something that does not happen to me. Not that I wear fragrance just for compliments but it is a nice feeling when somebody compliments you. I absolutely love this fragrance and it’s perfect for Autumn/Fall going into winter. I hope Tom Ford brings out other fragrances in this black bottle line and it would be interesting to see which other fragrances are released.

Since when, this type of smell become instantly popular. Smoky, leather, heavy. it is exciting to smell at first but when you find out other perfume smells similar, its kind of boring. Jazz club smell this way. Boyfriend is better than both ombre and jazz. too bad is discontinued.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

I tested it today and to me it is a very fine luxury leather fragrance. It opens with a bomb of leather note but in a good way. It feels like getting in a new luxury car and smelling that new untouchable aromatic leather inside.
The dry down is smooter and spicier but still, in my opinion, masculine. That means, I could imagine just on a MAN!
A very well blended scent in a nice black bottle. Me personally better like than the private blend line’s bottles.
Unfortunately the longevity and sillage are just a little bit over the avarege on me.

  23. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t know why anyone would want to smell like a horse saddle or a leather shoe shop, but if you do, this is the perfume for you. Not my bag. Couldn’t scrub it off fast enough.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

It’s bold, yet inviting. It’s strong, but not offensive.
I would say it’s best with formal or semi-formal clothing, but you can pull this off with anything in the autumn and winter. Longevity is great, sillage not so much, but in my opinion, that’s a good thing, makes people come closer to you.
Great fragrance, this will be my go to this season.
    10/10

This perfume claims its for unisex but trust me when i say.. it has pure masuline scents. I cant se any woman wearing this. I could really recommend this for the man who seeks an unique & masculine scent 🙂

Smells like a leather handbag in a soft, sweet and rich sort of way. It is airier, smoother and can be described as maybe muskier vice Tuscan Leathers drier, Woodier balance. People have referred this as slighlty vanillic and slighlty sweet- I would not disagree.
TL is leather intensive with dry woods and raspberry notes
OL is leather intensive with a smooth yet subtle ambery vanilla character
Many have made comparisons to Dueto Parfums Golden Boy to Tuscan Leather – for those that have tried Golden Boy, you will find Ombre Leather much more similar.
Ombre Leather is a captivating leather scent. It projects and has respectable longevity and sillage.

  27. :

This is much cheaper than the Private Blend and all its facets as well. After wearing for a full day it gives off the same scent too cheap IMO. Its basically a skin scent from the word go and the only signal of Tuscan Leather is the first 60 seconds of spraying on and then its all downhill from here. I will not repurchase even if for blending as its original intent in the PB line. There are better leather frags out there which are cheaper as well although this is unique in its own right. I rather fork out the extra and get the TL which projects extremely well on my skin. Apart from Noir EDP, Black Orchid EDP, and Noir Femme EDP the rest of the designer range of TF is mediocre to say the least and not worth the dollar. I rather opt for the Dior designer line anytime and the Collection Prive anytime. Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Oud and Oud Wood are my favourites of the PB line with Tobacco Oud Intense starting to impress me.

I just discovered this new perfume a few days ago. I am still not well aquainted to it, but I compared to the older and no longer available Ombre Leather 16 which became a favourite of mine and of which I still have a generous stock of. At a first try they were quite similar, but the diference started in a few minutes. While they are not very dissimilar, the older perfume feels richer and fuller, more luxurious and sophisticated, while the new one feels like a simplified version. On me it lasts much less than the original. I also feels like a more delicate and fresher version of Tuscan Leather, but also a simplified one. Not bad, but not much worth the money, even if it’s cheaper. On the bright side, for those pining for the dissapearance of Ombre Leather 16 or for those unwilling to pay a sack of money on Tuscan Leather this may be a good compromise. Still it remains a very personal choice.

This is my new leather fragrance
Its a more versatile and smoother fragrance than Tuscan leather, but still have that little hint of ’dirty’ genuine leather thats really, really nice.
Ive get around 3,5 hours within arms reach and the double on clothes.

Happy to say that this is essentially the original. A little less green and earthy, but more or less the same. Not disappointed. Definitely happy to see it at a lower price, meaning I can afford it at some point. (50mL $185 aud compared to $335)

  32. :

Very similar to Tuscan Leather. If you already have Tuscan Leather, Ombré Leather might be redundant to have.
The scent is very linear, sweet, long lasting, but not really something special.

Definitely one of the best fragrances on the market! What else can I say? Tom Ford Ombré Leather is exactly what a winter fragrance should be, simple, but, at the same time, dark and mysterious.

Eric agree to disagree. Enjoy wearing that citrus ADP Leather!

  37. :

    4 out of 5

So you are trying to say is that Tom Ford made a clone of a clone of his own fragrance? You know how stupid that sounds?
Luckily ADP smells nothing like Tuscan leather, it has a similar leather note but that’s all. This ombre is a knock off of ADP. Simple. No homework needed.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Eric if you did your homework you would realise AdP Colonia Leather is actually a copy of Tom Fords Tuscan Leather..

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Tom Ford just did a meh job of cloning aqua Di Parma Colonia leather.
Go for the ADP. Smells way better. But if you wanna save a few bucks go for the cheaper costing but cheaper smelling ombre.
    6/10

Wow ! This is the best from signature line from Tom Ford ! Beautiful leathery scent, I think this one is better than more avant-garde Gucci Guilty Absolute, because it’s more wearable, softer and I can smell something between fruits, coffee and flowers !! I’m very pleasantly surprised 🙂
Tom you did it again !!

  41. :

    3 out of 5

OMBRE LEATHER has brighter opening than Tuscan Leather. But in half hour it is really hard to make a difference. It is beautiful leathery, aromatic and gentleman type of fragrance.
More versatile than TS (that must be the reason why it is in signature lineup). I love it and will buy it as soon as possible.
    Scent: 9/10
    Performance: 8/10
    Versatility: 7/10

  42. :

    5 out of 5

Smells like a new car. I have no idea why anyone would want to actually smell like this. Hard pass.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

The fruitier, more casual version of Tuscan Leather. Still elegant to wear, but much more friendly to the commercial crowd. The top and heart notes don’t last too long on me. It has been 3 hours since I sprayed and all I smell right now is the basenotes of moss. Leans feminine/unisex in the beginning and the last remaining ghost of the scent is masculine.
Good for all weather and all occasions.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Ombre leather is the first fragrance I’ve bought myself. It’s insanely unique being such a great leather fragrance! One of the best leather fragrance out there. I wear my leather jacket daily, so using this fragrance completely elevates my look and personality.
    PERSONALITY OF SCENT: 10/10
In my opinion, Ombre leather is like that reserved, but rugged badass girl or guy who’s only preferred mode of transportation is their motorcycle. They’re insanely daring and bold, brutally honest, and one who exudes confidence. They give off a mysterious vibe and all you can do is stare.
    VERSATILITY: 7/10
Ombre leather should be used to amplify your personality/look, not a main attraction. If you want a leathery fragrance as your daily go-to, look into something with a softer leather note than TF’s. This is a rather mischievous and sometimes rowdy scent so refrain from wearing it to formal events/office settings.
    PERFORMANCE: 10/10
I can smell it on my jacket for days after so there’s no need to respray every time I put my jacket on. The sillage is rather far so don’t overspray. I mean with a longevity of 12hrs+ and a steady projection even after 6-7 hrs, you are getting the performance you’re paying a steep price for.
    CONCLUSION:
Ombre leather (2018) is a greatly improved fragrance derived from the discontinued Ombre leather 16, and a cheaper alternative to Tuscan leather. It’s a fragrance that can hold its’ own against the much expensive/niche brands of fragrances out there.

  45. :

Smells like leather. Not as sweet as a leather couch, but not as unsweet as Knize Ten, for example. Dries down to smell like what my male friend calls “hot cross buns.” I think that’s the influence of the cardamom, but the leather persists for at least four hours before the sweeter, bakery side of this comes out. Quite charming. Great for fall and winter.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

Smells good for a casual or formal event. This is a smoother leather scent than Tuscan Leather, which its similar to. The performance is solid. Would I buy Ombre Leather, yes as a formal cologne and can shell out the price. If I wanted one that smooth and refined without fruity or citrus notes. On an another note if you want a fruity leather go for Tuscan.

  47. :

Buyers please be aware that this is definitely a dry down fragrance meaning if u want to wear this fragrance, you must be patient and let it dry down before u leave the house because the opening is quite harsh. When this scent dries down it magically turns into a million bucks $$$. Seriously , wear this with a leather jacket and you will smell like a stack of million bucks lol this stuff is phenomenal!!

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Ombré Leather is my kind of leather scent.
It’s darker and deeper than Tuscan Leather, but also much more refined. It lacks the punch that TL has, but in return acquires a certain elegance that TL certainly lacked.
There is little point in discussing notes here. The listed ones aren’t all that accurate in my opinion.
When you spray it on, it opens like a gentler Tuscan Leather.
There is still a fruity aspect combined with leather. The leather in this is darker yet more smooth. Tuscan Leather has a very raw leather note, where as this smells much more like a leather couch.
After 5 minutes Ombré Leather reveals it’s showpiece. The magnificent middle stage.
The smoothest leather accord in the business. Dark, black and raw. Perfect for the brooding gentleman. It’s thick and smooth, yet refined.
I also get a hint of amber and patchouli at this point.
After that it dries down and the amber is amped up a little bit, and joined by a awesome moss note. At this point the scent comes across as a bit dusty. I totally get what they meant in the marketing. There is a hit of desert-feel over this one.
This is one of those scents that is perfectly summarized by it’s bottle. It’s modern and sleek.
OL is extremely easy to wear and comes across as such. This is my signature for the fall from now on. What a scent Tom Ford managed to create here.
Longevity is awesome – 14 hours easily.
    Rating: 7.5/10

Well…….. today after my lunch, I got 2 compliments from to work colleagues saying I smelt “really good” and the 3rd said I smelt like an inside of an aeroplane…..? and I never get any compliments from them about my cologne. 2/3 is good enough for me. It’s funny because one of the girls asked me what it was I was wearing and I told her and I don’t think she’d heard of Tom ford, but she was a lot younger than me though.
Over all a really nice sweet leather cologne, not too sweet though.
I found that Tuscan leather is a bit more aggressive.

I wear Ombre Leather 16, heard it was discontinued, then I saw this was excited. This is kinda close, but no cigar. Its generally nice but doesn’t have the depth, longevity or projection of 16. This is a watered down version, hence the lower price point. I like this, but won’t be adding it to my collection.

In Nordstrom I got my wife to smell this and Tuscan Leather. She actually preferred this one, so I bought a bottle. I never smelled the original, it smells good on me but when smelling directly, as someone else mentioned, this is Tuscan Leather without the raspberry and they threw in some Anthracite in there, just lurking underneath.

@janjanjan”Anyone else think this is kind of a rip-off of Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather?”
I don’t think so, love ADPCL. The Ombre 2018 has a smell of a leather jacket, where to me the ADP Colonia leather smells more industrial, like a brand new leather shoes taken out of a box.

    @OntheMark
That makes a lot of sense now that I think of it. Everywhere I’ve tried the tester, the bottle is always half full or 3/4’s empty. I’ll definitely keep this in mind the next time I go fragrance hunting, thanks a lot OntheMark!

Absolutely over the moon that this has been re-released rather than discontinued, as was the rumour. Cheaper price point as well!
This is a masterpiece. My go-to casual daytime fragrance for the autumn/winter months (probably not one for the office however). My current bottle of ’16 will probably see me through this A/W season, but I was already beginning to think about buying another bottle of this just in case. I’ll be picking up a bottle of ’18 for sure.

@Bartolo Cologne (or anyone troubled by testers/samples smelling different from new bottles):
This is not uncommon, and it’s especially notorious when dealing with fragrances with more natural components – think Aventus, for example. They actually evolve with time and exposure to air. The samples are most likely sprayed into that little vial, so of course it’s going to change a bit. Same with the tester. As it’s sprayed, the bottle takes up air, which in turn introduces oxygen to the bottle, changing it ever so slightly. It’s a thing, and it’s nothing to worry about, unless you have specific reason to believe that what you got was fake. Otherwise, it will all even out with time.
    Hope this helps someone!

Man…OH…Man!!! Now this is my kinda leather! So let me first start by saying I love all types of fragrances, but leathers are one of my favorites. The problem I find is that most don’t work well when it’s warm outside and living in the deep south that’s pretty much all the time. However this one works wonders pretty much year round. I was able to wear it in 95 degree heat recently and it performed well without becoming cloying or overbearing. The only other leather I’ve been able to find that does that is montale aoud leather since it has an aquatic vibe from the Bergamot. As some other reviews stated it does strongly resemble Tuscan leather but without the upfront raspberry fruitiness. Projection is great, I get outstanding almost nuclear projection for the first 2-3 hours, then moderate projection for another 2-3. Becomes a pretty heavy skin scent but lasts for up to another 4-6 hours. I first sampled it at Dillard’s and applied a total of 5 sprays to test, and received a total of 4 compliments the remainder of the night from complete strangers passing by as I continued to shop then dine later on. It is a bit linear, I didn’t experience much change over its lifespan, but it does morph slightly from a pungent new car leather opening POW into somewhat of a sweet/powdery dry-down. Price is a little high for most leathers I own, $175 for 100ml, but considering it’s a Tom Ford and the price of Tuscan leather, id say it’s well worth it, especially if you can find it at a bargain. I scooped up a full bottle for $135. This is a must try if you’re a leather lover. Tuscan leather is one of my favorites but I’ve never been lucky to experience the great performance others claim. Of my favorite leather id place it toward the top any day. Top 10 leather frags

Love this. 10/10. For the price its one of the best Tom Fords – hard to justify the price for Tuscan Leather when this is half the price although i do still think Tuscan is also 10/10.

I can only speak for a sample I got at Sephora. I sprayed some on from the tester yesterday, and on first blast it was a little overwhelming and got me in the back of the throat. I recently had brain surgery and suffer headaches, so it could just be me, but I can see how this would be hard on a sensitive nose, possibly even headache inducing in the first several minutes. However it quickly settled down into a pretty straightforward and wearable leather. Very rich and pleasant.
I think it could easily be worn by men and women, though I think I would really enjoy smelling this on a man. When I got home after a couple hours, I felt the need to layer with something a little more girly to see the result. I lightly spritzed on some Replica Lipstick On, and I really like the addition of the cosmeticky type scent.
Overall, I like this very much, by itself and layered with a more feminine fragrance.

OK it’s very good and easier to wear then Tuscan Leather, but all in all I get the same vibe with Mercedes Benz Le Parfum and Nabeel Arab Tradition, which both are much more inexpensive. But since I am a collector, I have to have another Tom Ford in my collection :). If you are on. A budget, feel free to get one of the other mentioned fragrances!

Ok I gave this a wearing today and I have to say the scent is superb. I feel there’s raspberries mixed in here, you have a couple of scents playing off each other that vibe really well I’m impressed. It’s the leather I’ve always been looking for.
Solid performance too. Not a beast but good. Two sprays one to the front and one to the back is all you need.

Anyone else think this is kind of a rip-off of Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather?

A hard-ass leather for men . Strangely simple, linear and no development .
Still, this would be “the only leather you will ever need” and strength and projection are good-but-not-killer.
D.P.F.P. (Don’t pay full price) and don’t expect this one to be around forever. Sales will be anything but stellar as TF has more commercial and unisex leather scents in his catalog.
