Description

Tom Ford Lost Cherry is a full-bodied journey into the once-forbidden; a contrasting scent that reveals a tempting dichotomy of playful, candy-like gleam on the outside and luscious flesh on the inside.

Innocence intersects indulgence with an opening that captures the classic perfection of the exotic cherry fruit–Black Cherry’s ripe flesh dripping in cherry liqueur glistens with a teasing touch of Bitter Almond.

The heart bursts forth in cherry waves of sweet and tart. Griotte Syrup expresses the textured maceration of voluptuous fruits while breathtaking florals Turkish Rose and Jasmine Sambac penetrate the senses and soul.

Peru Balsam and Roasted Tonka at the drydown suggest a new portrait of an iconic symbol. When blended with an unexpected melange of sandalwood, vetiver and cedar, the finish reaches fantasy-inspiring levels of insatiability.”

Top notes: black cherry, cherry liquer, bitter almonds
Heart notes: Griotte syrup, Turkish rose, jasmine Sambac
Base notes: Peru balm, roasted tonka beans, sandalwood, vetiver, cedar

Tom Ford Lost Cherry will be available from November 2018 as 50ml Eau de Parfum and 250ml Eau de Parfum.

At Stephanie. Lost cherry is a more of a pure cherry smell with Peru balsam undertones. Dancing roses is a fair blend of all the notes. I much prefer lost cherry personally

How does this compare with DANCING ROSES unisex fragrance by Victor & Rolf, which is a cherry bomb that goes boozy? Anyone have both that can do a side by side?

This one seems to work with my skin.
This stuff is cherries on top of more cherries but in a good way. Not in a synthetic, annoying way, but more so in a deep fruity, Dr. Pepper kind of way. I definitely get a deep, boozy, nutty cherry at the start.
As the fragrance moves along, the intense cherry starts to fade allowing the tonka bean and almond to round it out. It is a creamy, sweet almond backed by a fantastic warm tonka bean with the cherries in the back seat, but still noticeable.
On the dry down, I get a gorgeous vanilla note which shines through beautifully blending with the cherries, almonds and tonka bean. This vanilla is absolutely stunning with the cherries.
This stuff is crazy delicious. Its so different and such a tremendous quality.
Yes, this stuff is all about the cherries, but no, this is not just pure cherries. This is sooo good because the cherries really do play a huge part, but at the same time its not the only thing I notice….Not even close. The almonds, tonka and vanilla are amazing.
This is also perfectly unisex. I typically dont like unisex frags, but this could work on either. I am a 26 year old male who usually only likes macho frags.
Love it! Such a nice release.
    EDIT:
Okay….I feel like on the dry down the cedar also expresses itself which turns this gem masculine. This is in my top 5 favorites as of now. Everything is just so good about it.

I have yet to receive my 2 sample vials from luckyscent and dissappoined to see these reviews, was hoping for a thick boozy delicious tart cherry scent, strong and bold but sounds of it, its anything but!! I personally think tom is now taking the piss and producing too many fragrances too soon and less concentration is being done!
I just wish I had order 2 samples of FORT AND MANLE LUCKY THIEVES instead! if you want a house of pure sheer quality its THEM! and its slightly cheaper than this!
Well I hope I like lost cherry, we shall see

If you’re expecting liqueur and wine and bitter almond and tonka Don’t buy into it. It literally smells like nothing but cherry. xD

  6. :

    5 out of 5

Smells only slightly more interesting than its banal name.
It is impressive that the cherry persists for quite some time on a smelling strip. It is complex and more dynamic than the simple, fleeting cherry notes of other fragrances which consist only of benzaldehyde. Not overly sweet like the cherry facet in Lolita Lempicka, for example.
Unfortunately, this is it. Smells quite like coumarin (a shallow, cheapened and uninteresting tonka bean, in other words). Not nearly as sickening as Fucking Fabulous, which is simply a caricature of its own name; but the price tag: if one is going to spend 320 dollars to lose their cherry, certainly this purchase would be one of the least pleasurable ways of doing so.

cherries dipped in amaretto to me. It’s decent, but the performance is poor, at least on my skin. Someone here said that maybe it ought to be worn with another TF fragrance, so I layered it with Tuscan Leather, and it was a pleasant switch up. The raspberry note and the cherry note work well together. Kinda like sitting in a brand new leather car with an amaretto cocktail with a cherry garnish. Is it worth the $300+ price tag? No, definitely not, but it is still a very enjoyable fragrance.

  8. :

I’m definitely not into sweet or overly fruity scents but I am pleasantly surprised by this one. It’s straight black cherry to me with a slight boozy note. Performance is not like his other more potent private blends but it’s decent. I like this.

I read in a fragrance article that companies are so adept at analyzing other fragrances..they literally can take one accord from one hit fragrance and put it with another accord from another popular fragrance creating a “Franken-Fragrance” of a new one synthesized from blockbusters. I dont know weather to cuss at Tom Ford or praise him for his sly acumen in business.
Lost Cherry seems familiar to some as the accord of tonka/almond/rose/tolu has been done before as a main accord in Dior’s Poison Girl. The next inspired accord is the turkish sweet winey-rose found in Lancome’s hit Parfait D’ Roses. So yes, this leans feminine. If a male is interested in it, I advise a sampling.
After the initial opening which was an impressive leatherish/boozy/marinated black cherryish scent, I really struggled for the “cherry” as I kept getting a slick Dior like feel with the tonka/almond/ rose.
    (Maybe I lost the cherry?)
The turkish rose -wine middle heart phase lasted for about 1.5 hrs. The drydown, which is accurate in hour 3 – is a creamy woody vanillic marzipanish scent that holds very close to the skin. (common and not impressive)
$320 for 1.7oz. If you are a ride or die Tom Ford fan- Im sure you will go out and purchase. Performance is lacking. (Even the sales girl at the TF counter admitted it) Enthusiasts that like to make quality buys will be tough to convert to Lost Cherry. I will probably wait 6 months for the body spray.

Wow this is the one of the biggest ripoff in modern perfumery
    Very uninteresting
Don’t believe what reviews said on you tube those reviews are paid with free bottle
@ 320 plus tax this is a skinnscent in one hour
I have a lot better performance and better smelling than this for less Than 50 bucks
Private blend was crated for connoisseur in mind really?
    Tatal garbage compare to price

I apologize in advance if this is not considered an actual review of the product… just my 2 cents.
Since Tom Fords Private Line (according to Mr Ford) is supposed to be used in combination with other private line fragrances….
Maybe the Lost Cherry is not supposed to mean what everybody initially suspected….
Maybe the Lost Cherry could be what’s missing from Tobacco Vanille?
    Tuscan Leather?
    I don’t own Lost Cherry ..not sure I Will….
I do own 100ml bottles of 5 other of his fragrances…and it is my favourite house for a reason.
    Food for thought?
    You decide!

Got a good size sample at Saks…hit myself with about 6 full sprays…Ok I absolutely love it, the opening alone is enough of a reason to own it, it’s a smell that makes you feel high, the 30 minute mark is euphoric balmy cherry musk and woody aroma, a drunken rose…but then it pretty much sinks deep into your skin and becomes…lost cherry. Gone…Hours later it is a fleeting subtle sweet musky faint woody smell that could be mistaken for a number of terminal-phase designers.I love it but I don’t $320 love it. If this would have been an acceptable performer and not a joke on the profane masses I would buy it…maybe if it ever gets down to under $200
Update: the more I wear this the more it pisses me off. Why would he make such an amazing smell that vanishes into a faint whisper VERY quickly? Whyyy….It’s cruel, it’s demented…why not just make it last even 6 hours? This would have been one of my all time top favorite frangrances if it were strong and a true perfume….so bummed

I just get one note; cherry. And not a very high end one at that. Very very uninteresting for a Tom Ford. Heck I find it uninteresting for a niche.

  16. :

Today I tried Lost Cherry! Initial spray (the reviews are true) smells like cherry dr pepper. That opening lasts mere seconds, and what your left with is a subtle sweet cherry fragrance that is very nice! While most say it is feminine, it is; but wait until the dry down! As the fragrances dries, the woody notes start to come up, wrapped with that rose note and sprinkled on top — almond! With that cherry note still in the foreground, Lost Cherry truly shines in the dry down, making it undoubtedly unisex. It is not a loud scent. Perhaps if you wore it on the neck it would project more. I was wearing Oud Wood today and I smelt that over Lost Cherry. Would I buy a full bottle? Initially no, but if I wore it a few more times and felt I had to have it, then yes. I don’t agree with the price, but Tom Ford did something beautiful with this one.
    8/10

I love this scent, it’s very addictive and it makes you come back for more.
The cherry and almond notes stay throughout the whole time and they blend beautifully. It gives you a sweet warm vanilla cherry scent all day long, deffinetly a luxurious smell and a very unique part of Tom Ford’s collection.
Reminds me of midnight fantasy by Britney Spears. Deffinetly a more expensive, classic, mature version of MF by Britney.

Maraschino cherry sugar-bomb. There’s nothing classy or elegant about this but it’s FUN––a roller rink and lip gloss kind of frag. It could have been perfect for teenagers, but its price tag wants it to be something it’s not.

The more I try Lost Cherry, the more I understand why it is THAT expensive now (I also evaluate it with other expensive brands such as Kilian, Creed…And I have tested hundreds of varieties of fragrances from the expensive down to inexpensive ones like Zara…).
First of all, you have to love cherry in order to enjoy this scent because it is all about cherry, as you name it: fresh, sweet, ripe, sour and tart cherry fruit that makes mouth watering; cherry liquor; cherry balsamic, and even cherry jam. It is NOT easy to incorporate or transform all those flavors of cherry into “scents” and still give it a signature, AND for it being worn as a fragrance.
Tom Ford has been so great and well known for creating unique and masterful woody, smokey fragrances in his perfumery career that make many of us, both men and women addicted. It proves again in Lost Cherry. I have experienced layers of cherry “flavors” in Lost Cherry perfume (from a fresh cherry fruit scent to its “preserved” forms as in “jam”, “liquor”, and “balsamic”). And I am still amazed with what I have discovered further down. It is Tom Ford’s “twist” and his signature way in creating this perfume that I find so interesting and unique. The scent of cherry, as the main star note, still shines thru from start to finish, but it changes and develops into something much more “grown up” than just a plain “tuitty-fruity cherry-ish” fragrance for “boys” and “girls”. It has its special maturity in the dry down as a sweet “leathery”/“tobacco”/“smokey”/“balsamic” and “boozy” cherry scent that is well suited, refined and appropriate for adult’s taste, because of the help from other “ingredients” (liquor, bitter almond, incense, balsam, tonka bean, vetiver…,and again, Tom’s specialty: woods. And there is NO leather, nor tobacco note…in this). All those elements got blended in wonderfully with cherry by just the RIGHT ratios that I think work fantastically on both men and women.
And THAT makes Lost Cherry UNIQUE and stand out, not just among Tom’s other great fragrances, but also among other respected brands as well. I haven’t smelled any cherry perfume/fragrance like this one, EVER! I can’t afford a bottle now but I truly LOVE and appreciate it!

Tried this fragrance on 3 separate occasions. If you layer it with either Oud Wood or Ombre Leather, it is very smooth.. actually it’s amazing. By itself though, it’s just another plain cherry fragrance. It doesn’t last that long either, maybe an hour to 90 mins. Not worth the $320, especially not worth it if you have to layer it to reach its full potential.

I was excited to see it in Macy’s and sprayed it on my right hand (I had three other colognes on). I absolutely adore cherry almond scents and this is one of them. It smells like fine amaretto, very cherry. It didn’t last too long, so I would not pay $320 for it (nor would I buy it at MSRP anyway!). But I definitely like it.

This bottle caught my eye while walking through Nordstrom yesterday. Love cherry everything, so was so happy to sniff it and get a big whiff of cherry out of the bottle. Sprayed it on…big blast of cherry. Literally walked straight out of the store and asked my husband to smell my wrist.
    “Mmmm,” he said, “…vanilla candle.”
Much to my dismay, he was RIGHT! All of the cherry had disappeared (it had been maybe 2 minutes) and all that was left was a waxy vanilla with a hint of smoke typical of TF vanilla.
SO disappointed. That red bottle is gorgeous and the cherry was so different. “Vanilla candle” is not what I was hoping for.

I’m back. O.k, I got another sample card and kept it to let it breath.
And I have to back track from my review below about it being just a STRAIGHT CHERRY SCENT. in the die down I’m getting a little more than cherry., a spiciness( the balsam, perhaps.–so I see the soda/cola reference) No almond really, Not sweet. Not an experience of biting into a cherry which would involve a sugary note( vanilla, amber, tonka)
However, its just still not a 320.00 scent(again …girl bye!) It’s as if the stronger notes have been tone down . If there was more spice going on(clove, cinnamon) or sweeter …or even if it went more citrus , or floral(rose, peony) … then this would be more dimensional.
It is a very young scent, which contradict that price point. Just not a very luxurious ( taking into consideration Tom Ford other fragrances). It not in Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire league. To each his own, however. Good Luck, Tom Ford Lost Cherry.

A dear friend kindly sent to me a decant vial from her freshly acquired bottle of this.
Although I am forever grateful for her kindness, I am less than thrilled about the fragrance.
Oh, it’s not bad by any means, in fact it reminds me a little of cherry marzipan candies I used to eat by the lot during my youth in Germany. So it’s actually kind of nostalgic to me.
But…after that bit of nostalgia passes, it’s really just a very uninteresting scent to my nose.
I agree with the many reviewers below me, it can be likened to a cherry soda or waxy cherry chapstick. Again, not bad, but I guess I expected more. Bright fresh cherry, a swig of cherry liquor, some sweet nuttiness of almonds, a kiss of vanilla… Maybe all those notes are there initially but they are painfully fleeting! If you’re willing to gamble at this price point, go for it. But it’s not for me.
    Scent 8/10
    Sillage 5/10
    Longevity 7/10

I had a barbed comment about people who spend hundreds of dollars to blind buy fragrances based off Youtube reviewers and then complain about it, but I’m just gonna Sophia Loren side eye and keep it moving. #samplesdoexist

Most people here will do a break down of the notes and an evaluation of the projection and longevity a lot better than I can. So I’m just gonna get straight to the point and say this smells incredibly juicy. Like biting into a fresh ripe cherry. Made me want to bite into my arm and savor it. So if your physique also fits the category of “juicy”, people will enjoy smelling this on you 😉

I purchased my bottle of Lost Cherry after watching a review by Brooklyn Fragrance Lover on YouTube assuring everyone Lost Cherry is NOT feminine. What a waste of money, as obviously the majority of us agree Lost Cherry is too fem.
    Consider the source.

Had this on for about 30 minutes now and I really wanted to like this stuff because I love Cherry BUT this is so feminine. I love unisex fragrances and even wear some women’s fragrances because I can get away with them I.e Balck Orchid, White Suede and Aventus for her. This one is just straight up fruity female gourmand on my skin and I can’t see any guy pulling this off. That being said, it is a beautiful fragrance for a woman and I will be giving the sample to my girlfriend but there are better options especially considering the price of this one. Vanille Fatale is very similar to my nose but better and less linear.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

The opening is pure tart black cherry mixed with sweet cherry liqueur. There is no medicinal note, nothing that smells like cough syrup here, just pure intoxicating cherry goodness. That blast only lasts about 10 minutes, sadly, before it moves into the next phase of delightfulness. The tonka and almond blend together to give it a nutty, slightly powdery aroma —still with a hint of very juicy cherry. The drydown gives the impression of cherry pipe tobacco, a very close cousin to tobacco vanille but with a cherry twist. I believe the balsam, vetiver, sandalwood combo is what is giving the pipe tobacco feel, but it’s so well done that you can’t pull out individual notes at this point. This is very longlasting, but not a loud fragrance–it does sit close to the body, but I find when I wear it I can’t stop sniffing myself. This was a blind buy for me, and well worth every penny. Again, Tom Ford has not disappointed.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

I am adding another review, since the more I wear this, the more I LOVE it! The initial blast really is of macerated black cherries. After this dies/wears down, one is left with a magical and long lasting (but gentle projecting) incredible scent of tonka, dry vanilla, bitter almond and hint of powder. This fragrance is truly unisex. Some facets are more traditionally masculine and some feminine!
On my skin, Lost Cherry lasts 4-5 hours, but on clothing….24 hours!!
I currently own several Tom Ford fragrances….Tobacco Vanille, Patchouli Absolu, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir and Fougere d’Argent, and Lost Cherry is quickly becoming a favourite!

just like somebody said – smells like cherry soda. on paper it was also very spicy, on my skin : first that cherry sodas scent, which transformed into dirty powdery skin scent. It’s not too bad but I’ll skip this and go for something more captivating

This is the smell of sour cherries picked from the cherry tree, pitted, mixed with sugar, and ready to pour in the pie shell to be cooked. It’s a very nostalgic smell I grew up with. I didn’t catch the dry down because the SA put such a small amount on paper for me.

This is cherry goodness! I know the comparisons to medicine and cherry Dr.Pepper have been made. I love Dr. Pepper and certainly don’t mind smelling like it lol. Lost Cherry is sexy, alluring and sensual. Tom Ford delivers♡

I’m not here to bash Lost Cherry since I haven’t tried it yet but it makes me kind of sad that some people might think that this is such a revolutionary the first of its kind cherry fragrance when the fact is that this is just very well advertised and that’s not bad thing it just could make people jump to misinformed conclusions sometimes. I guess what I’m trying to say is before you say that this is the best cherry scent ever sample more fragrances in that genre to form a better opinion of course Lost Cherry could still be your favorite but at least it would earn it lol. Lastly, a cherry fragrance that I highly recommend you get your nose on (before you run out and buy Lost Cherry) is Una Tira l Altra by Hilde Soliani.

Just got a sample from Neiman Marcus and tried it on for a couple hours. Has a very cocktail cherry / medicinal scent initially. Then it dries down into Tom Ford Vanille Fatale. It’s pretty much exactly the same to my nose as VF.
The longevity isn’t bad at all but the sillage isn’t too great from what I get.
I say it’s more of a skin scent after an hour or two. Which isn’t a bad thing considering who wants to smell like cocktail cherries all day.
I have been using TF private line fragrances for almost a decade now and this definitely has a TF signature smell to it but I am certain that this isn’t worth the MSRP. It just doesn’t smell expensive. Maybe its because I know what true masterpieces TF is really capable of producing, such as Tuscan Leather and Tobacco Vanille.
It has a young girl vibe to it, which makes it difficult for me to wear. Maybe it’s because I am a 27 year old male but I do enjoy mostly unisex scents.
I’d say if you’re a relatively young female and can afford it, give this a try. You might like it. But this is definitely not a blind buy. Try it out first! Especially if you’re familiar with other TF private lines.
If I had to choose between this or F**king Fabulous, I’d definitely choose FF.
    Overall, I give it a 6/10.

Just received my bottle today and could not wait to open it. I had so much expectations for this. I wanted so badly to believe it could smell sweet if just a little. Opening was fantastic, a full on cherry blast but quickly disappears. It is quite boozy with a smokey dry down. The Tonka bean, Peru balsam and bitter almond all come out to play as the scents finale. I am racking my brain trying to figure out what this smells like. I have smelled this before and Aurora_1983 you hit the nail on the head. This reminds me of the captain black pipe tobacco my grandfather used and yes, wax lips!!!! The two perfumes that immediately come to mind when smelling this is a combination of People of the Labyrinths Luctor Et Emergo with 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco. Very nice perfume but it is definitely not worth the price.

not a fan. sprayed it on at Neiman’s, got a 3ml sample to bring home but honestly, i’m not impressed. it reminds me heavily of Guerlain L’homme Ideal EDP, Pure Havane, JOOP! & Paco Rabanne’s 1 million Prive…but not as nice or interesting as any of them and certainly not worthy of the price tag IMHO. In my opinion it leans feminine and it’s not something i would ever wear, and i have fem frags in my arsenal, one of my faves being Chanel No. 19. The other bad news is longevity; 2-3 hours max. Sample first, for me it’s a no. Other things it reminds me of: those cherry wax lips you get around Halloween time, cherry pipe tobacco, the filling in Burger King cherry pie’s.

After finally purchasing another fragrance and over doing sample at Neiman Marcus, this was on display and I was eager to see the substance behind the hype.
There wasn’t much …substance that is.
I was anticipating a dark, gourmand cherry a-la Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. I was expecting this to be a cherry induce Black Orchid. I was expecting the tonka bean, the almond, and especially the balsam to compete with the cherry.
    My expectation was too much
THIS IS JUST A STRAIGHT CHERRY SCENT -to my nose. -FOR 250.00( Excuse me Tom Ford site say 320.00 for a 1.7….Girl, bye!)
It was so straight cherry that I got to questioning my own bottle of Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. But no need— Guerlain La Petite… is truly a gourmand black cherry( for 95.00 for 1.7 fl.oz at sephora online) . However, when I first experience La Petite, I didn’t like it because I thought it was too dominant of cherries. Yet, I kept gravitating to it because I could at least faintly pick up the darkness, which became less faint (more Shalimar ) on my skin – especially on the die down.
I just can’t, even in faintness, get anything else but Lost Cherries. I’ll be fair— the next time I’m around it I will keep the blotter card and let it develop, or try it on my skin and see if those stronger note take present. It the same fairness I gave to La Petite, which I now love.
But now, Tom Ford Lost Cherry is all hype. Beautiful bottle though!

Tried this today and its a huge no for me. Take a jar of cherries and it smells exactly the same to me. I didn’t try it on skin just the card in store. Definitely feminine. Smells like teeny boppers would be all over this stuff. Cloying and annoyingly sweet. NEXT.

The Lost Cherry came home Saturday, express delivered by Neiman Marcus. I called my PS there to thank her for advancing the order through and she stated that they were selling fifteen bottles an hour last night online.
My initial impression was that of (no surprise) a prominent note of black cherry or Griotte syrup, a kind of European bitters of ripe, macerated cherries. This reminded me of the candied cherries on a Black Forest cake. The velvety peaks of fleshy sweetness were playing off something slightly sour, possibly morello cherry, and that seemed to spare it from becoming overly mawkish or juvenile. Just when I thought I was headed for a decadent gourmand experience the aroma expanded into the Middle East with floral components of Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, and bitter almond. That is when I began to notice the subtle wisps of vanilla, benzoin, and cinnamon of Peru balsam resin burning through all of this, just quietly releasing its aroma in the background like a pillar of incense. Finally, the masculine side of this wayward cherry tethered the more ethereal elements with a roasted tonka bean that was mild, an unobtrusive vetiver that added an earthy layer to the cherry notes, and dry sandalwood that appeared to complement the florals. A noticeable thread of cedar completed the composition.
Despite the name, I don’t think this fragrance is particularly youthful but rather intended for a more adult audience. Tom Ford could have called it Cherry Ombre or Cherry Absolut and done just as well, but maybe that would not have created as much clamor. My overarching impression of Lost Cherry is that of a “roundlet” containing many components often found in Tom Ford fragrances, but supercharged with a very authentic cherry motif and arranged in a playful, erotic way. It is almost like a revamp of F’ing Fabulous, but with a lot more fabulous.
On balance, this cherry bonbon may be worth the price for a Tom Ford collector like me. As Betty Grable once said to a more famous “lost cherry”, Marilyn Monroe, “I got mine, now you go get yours!”

  46. :

    3 out of 5

The initial spray is fabulous. I detect a pure sweet-cherry blast which last all of 10 seconds. Then it turns into an overly sweet, feminine, powdery “perfumey” rose with creamy vanilla-almond undertones.
I can see how some who like to push the unisex boundaries may enjoy this very sweet gourmand, especially in the colder winter season; however, it’s too feminine and too “perfumey” syrupy sweet-rose for my liking.
I get sweet cherry, very sweet jammy rose, tonka, jasmine, and bitter almond. All the notes work in harmony. I don’t detect any dirty notes or hard-to-digest notes. It’s “clean”, soft silage, and last moderately.
It reminds me of the high quality Oud Satin Mood Extrait de parfum by Maison Francis Kurkdjian; however, without the Oud note. Extremely well blended, smooth, and refined. High quality.
I wish that beautiful initial cherry note in Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry lasted as long as the persistent underlying “perfumey” sweet rose.
I don’t get any liqueur notes at all.
I pre-ordered my bottle from Neiman Marcus with 10% off thru eBates, plus 1.5% off with my Capital One credit card, plus Neiman included free leather bag and beauty goodies. The total with tax was around $340 excluding discounts.

    Got this today!
I like it, more to come for full thoughts. Sweet to start, gives me a Feve vibe, but more like Tonka Imperial. Huge amount of Almond/Tonka, and later has a bit of a smoky incense vibe reminiscent of Plum Japonais, but this is much more juicy. Kind of like an old soda shop, where you could request a shot of vanilla or cherry added to your cola, this brings me to a childhood cherry, but it’s more sophisticated than all that! Fun!
    Edit:
    About 5-6 hours in.
The incense vibe has to be the Peru balsam. The drydown is beautiful with this and cedar, but I’m still getting whiffs of Black Cherry, Tonka, and Almond,

I smelled this today for the first time and put it on skin. The initial blast is beautiful and very gourmand. I get a lot of cherry and almond at first, both of which vanished a bit after 30 minutes. Now, I get heavy Tonka, with a bit of sweet cherry, and musk. This fragrance reminds me of Feve Delicious by Christian Dior, but is much more expensive per ML and is less unique. With that being said, Lost Cherry is much more wearable than its Dior counterpart.
Overall, I like the fragrance, but not enough to spend the $320. It is wearable in winter months exclusively or for a special, night time occasion. It leans a bit more feminine than masculine, but it is certainly unisex. It loses projection after an hour but remains on the skin forever.
Two people noticed it, one loved it (a woman) the other hated it (a man).

SMELLED today and L O V E. Our Tom Ford Specialist at our local Nordstrom (Topanga Canyon, Woodland Hills) had it with him today. He put 2 sprays on me, and I am in HEAVEN.
Prominent Black Cherries, Tonka Bean, Bitter Almond and a hint of Jasmine, very tiny…almost not there!
Long lasting, soft sillage and I am pre-ordering on Sunday 10/7, when Lost Cherry pre-sales begin!
Ordered TODAY 10-7-18. Nordstrom had 100 bottles available nationwide in the early a.m., and by Noon….20 bottles left. Mine arrives in 3-5 days. LOVE Lost Cherry!!!

    **SPOILER ALERT**
I AM the one person you know that will walk into Bath & Body, and sniff EVERYTHING. Every candle and room spray at Bed/Bath/Beyond gets shoved under my nose. I can’t help it. I can’t stand celeb/COTY/Avon, and yet still smell them. I. Cannot. Help. It.
So I broke down and whiffed a wuff of Lost Cherry. …………
I just want to say that I wish I’d have never read the previous review that said it smelled like cherry Dr Pepper, because – yeah.
But it was Cherry Dr Pepper in a McD’s cup – the one coated with wax to keep it from leaking – annnnd you smell the waxy cardboardiness of the cup and drink all right there under your nose.
I’m not saying I hated it or even disliked it. I don’t know if I could purposefully spritz myself to smell like that though……
Or think SONIC – they’ll mix the cherry into your Dr P, but the cup smell isn’t the same.
    Sorry. :/
    #”@$%#**!!!

From Lost Cherry I get Cherry Liqueur with spices. Some people are saying Cherry Dr. Pepper but i dont really get that. I get more of a boozy cherry in the opening. Almost a hint of apple. Reminds me of a Amaretto Sour in the opening with the cherry, then the Almond and spices kicks in and the Jasmine to smooth everything out. The dry down is woody. Maybe sandalwood because it stays smooth but you can definitely detect the cherry and the woods in the dry down. Very unisex. Perfectly balanced as Thanos would say lol.

How similar will this be I wonder to Prada Candy Gloss, with similar notes, and other cherry-almonds like Amouage Blossom Love.
