Dry limes with a pine note. Sharp and fresh with slight powdery undertones. I peronally don’t smell any violet and don’t make any connection to Fahrenheit.

At first, this fragrance has a wet and grassy feel to it. I think it was inspired by Fahrenheit, but it does not have that gasoline type note. Clearly violet is present, but otherwise this is mostly a blend. Fortunately, I don’t get strong jasmine, which I really dislike if it’s too strong. Though iris is listed, this is not too powdery. Nor is it particularly sweet or woody. In fact, as it develops, it has a kind of dry quality, with the violet persisting for a long time (though never irritating). This is what the niche companies don’t seem to do well, that is, they appear to have difficulty with blending more than a few notes well, as is the case here. Instead, I’ve found that they are unbalanced, with a note or too being too strong, though apparently many people like this quality. The ingredient quality seems good and there is no “blob” aspect to Olympios, despite the blending. This seems best suited to a nature walk on a spring day.
