Description
To form the composition of Nuances the following notes were selected: bergamot, cinnamon, iris root, heliotrope, benzoin, vetiver and sandalwood. Iris, as the main ingredient in all three editions of the Armani Prive Les Editions Couture, plays the leading role and offers a sophisticated powdery cloud supported by the sensual warmth coming from other ingredients. Nacre fragrance provides the powdery strength of iris surrounded with a musky veil; Blue is a powdery iris warmed by vanilla and cocoa, while the latest edition, Nuances, is enhanced with elegant woody notes and gently sweetened with cinnamon.
Armani Prive Les Editions Couture Nuances is available in 1000 pieces as 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Each of the 1000 bottles is signed and numbered, and crowned with a stopper resembling dark and smoky marble.
Nuances was launched in 2013.

Nuances is aptly named for its’ subtle shifts from iris and heliotrope softness and almondy-sweet powderiness to its’ woody vetiver and sandalwood drydown with hints of cinnamon and bergamot zest. The soft sweet powder remains throughout its’ entire 6 hour lifespan (although it is a quiet skin scent for most of that). Nuances could also be called “Ambivalence” because it falls into that category of perfume I call “no regrets”. No regrets if you happened to splurge for this agreeable scent and no regrets if you missed the boat and never get to own it. I wouldn’t rush out to buy it even if it was $90 USD a bottle and yet, if someone gifted it to me, I would be pleased with it and probably wear it frequently. In other words, it’s pretty and safe and certainly in good taste but it’s also uninspiring and forgettable. Difficult to write a review about something like this.

I thought this was nothing special compared to Nacre (I’m talking about the relaunch set).. A bit on the fresh spicy side, but come on! $600 for this??

Absolutely one of a kind!
This is such a different take on iris that it almost doesn’t ‘feel’ like an iris fragrance. At first I detect a very non-sweet cinnamon and vetiver combination that just rocks my world! This early stage is so divine that I just want it to last forever.
The next stage of Nuances’ development on my skin is a striking iris and sandalwood combination that is very comforting and dries down to a nice gentle benzoin/caramel/vanilla; but never too sweet. This is a dry and dusty benzoin.
As far as value for money goes, despite its outrageous price tag, this is worth every single cent. It projects just the right amount and lasts almost 12 hours on my skin. On clothes it lasts days! I have received a compliment nearly every single time I have worn this.
I find this combination of notes and the way in which they play out on my skin very original and unique. I can honestly say that of the over 330 frag’s I own nothing smells like Nuances. 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up!
Темный_Лес – :
Very musky at the beginning, after come the powdery effect of roots of vetiver and iris increase by ionones

smelt this today,
a soft powdery fragrance with a hint of soft freshness and smooth sweetness…not very unique. Does not last long and fades within hours of applying.
But special due to the rarity.

Very powdery and musky with a sharper touch of vetiver.
