AQBA – :
I was lucky enough to get a sample packet of Kelly’s intriguing scents (thank you, Kelly!).
My first impulse was to try every one at once (patience is not one of my virtues), but common sense pravailed. So I decided to try them in the order listed on Fragrantica. Which means I’m now enjoying Notes of Cabernet.
I wish I had the talent othe people have to describe scents. Also, I just dabbed it on. Let me just say that on me it a very ‘soft’ scent (I can’t see a man wearing this, although I understand that tastes have changed). I don’t usually care for this kind of scent because they all turn baby-powder on me. But NoC does not do that at all. The notes are so well blended that I cannot quite tell them apart. Rather, they all play together and create a lovely harmony. I also get a creamy whiff of old-fashioned lipstick. I don’t mind it because I like that smell. So nostalgic. Nice scent for cold weather.
The only problem for me is that it does not last on me. I don’t know whether it is meant to be so as not to mess up the “etiquette of wine tasting,” or it’s due to my skin’s regrettable habit of “eating up ” scents.
