Sadly noir de noir now is reformulated. I got new batch NdN and juice colour like mineral water

For an older lady maybe, its a dark floral scent, what i envision someone like Joan Collins might smell like.

The tuber note is like in Black Orchid. But this fragrance is less floral and more unisex. It could be Black Orchid for men.

@cristinezorc You have to let fragrances dry down, boo boo.
Noir de Noir turns into a whole ‘notha scent during the dry down. It goes from that almost cloying rose to a box of chocolates.
The blend of patchouli, vanilla and truffle take the cake.
This is perfect for Winter, Fall, Spring (In that order).

Short version : what ibrahiemo below said exactly, this is the one that should be called FUCKING FABULOUS.
Longer version: I discovered TF with Neroli Portofino and was totally underwhelmed, not to mention the outrageous price tag. I tried others as well such as TUSCAN LEATHER, several OUDs and the one “fucking fabulous” which I’d rather call ‘MEH’.
But this one ? Well what can I say ? OUD, ROSE, and a well blended non gourmand vanilla makes this a fantastic masculine dark rose. It’s heav, heady, definitely mysterious, seductive and in fact plain enthralling really, just like a magic philter. For men +30, cold season and please don’t wear this with jeans and tshirts. Very lush and FUCKING FABULOUS INDEED !!! Oh and performance wise : radioactive projection and the sillage of a supernova !

Rose potpourri, dry and herbal. It smells like a room fragrance… Pass…

just an FYI for all NdN lovers-
I just bought the Byredo “rose” hand cream and seriously, it is sooooooooooo gooooooood!the first thing that came to mind was NdN and it’s SO perfect to layer this with for more oomph and lasting power!
put it on wherever you are applying the perfume, and BAM! much more of what we all love…

A juxtaposition of a jammy rose and dried patchouli.
A mèlange of wonderful aoud and a realistic tuber note.
A perfect contradiction of vanilla beans and the forbidden lichen.
Both moist and dessicated. Earthy and floral just like how chypres should be. I believe the chocolate note is an impression of the use of the tuber note in combination with vanilla. I don’t believe it smells seductive although it does smell expensive and luxurious. Feminine, except when you’re a flamboyant man.
When men insist that feminine perfumes are masculine, it’s a sign of a masterpiece.

This is a classic, not overly done. Its smooth and for a mature person for sure. Smells like TF Oud wood, but with less power and strike.

Tom Fords Fragrances are overated in my opinion. But, this is one of the few Tom Fords that lives up to the hype. It will hook you. Its more masculine, how I like it. Smells Perfectly done. Its not cloying, imbalanced, confusing or overly concentrated. Its smooth. This, Tobacco Vanille, and Grey Vetiver stands out the most

As far as I’m concerned, this is probably Tom Ford’s best fragrance.
I use it frequently and do consider this perfume more masculine than feminine although it qualifies as unisex. Well… it’s maybe acceptable.
This is a very well blended floral-spicy-oriental fragrance and very black. I find it a semi-dark to dark perfume. It’s semi-dark because it’s subtle and it’s dark because it has really some gloomy and black notes. That blackiness completely outlines this perfume and its evolution. I already tried to layer it with other dark and non dark scents but with very poor success in my findings so far. It seems to be perfect as it is.
The perfume opens very smoothly, like someone slowly approaching with slippers. It’s quite a soft and intimate saffron starting this scent journey, however a bit leathery and bittersweet. This note does prevail for a while but the global scent evolution surprises us with a powerful rose, a dark persistent rose that sticks around almost all through the perfume life. The rose note gives you nuances of powder and black woods. It’s a dark, dirty and woody accord of a special rose… marvelous!
I am not a rose scent fancier but I really like this composition. Probably due to the heart notes support (flowers and truffles), the dark rose scent is emphasized with a musky, earthy and pungent aroma.
The base notes set a peaceful oud frame with earthy patchouli and lightly sweet vanilla, but the dark gloomy rose persists for quite a while. The agar wood note is not prominent but does have a base role in the fragrance shadowy evolution.
As the time passes, the dry down becomes a bit more sweet and powdery.
The perfume does give a strong impression of class and sophistication, with an above average longevity but with an average projection. Probably it is what’s correct for this upscale fragrance. Excessive projection would be annoying. The scent is not cloying. The darker accords are never to proeminent and offer an excellent near skin performance. I do consider this perfume to be very well designed and perfectly blended. I have a faint heart for this type of obscure scents and I find it very alluring and sexy.
However the world is not perfect and this scent it’s not an universal pleaser. It has probably as many haters as lovers. Many people reject the subtle overlaying obscure shadow present in all the stages of this fragrance. After all “cést un parfum noir de noir” (it’s a black perfume of black).
I love it and consider it a real masterpiece… La crème de la crème de Tom Ford!
There is just one concern…. its price! I can only consider it quite expensive, specially when there is a very well blended similar fragrance – Armaf Club de Nuit Intense for Women – costing 10% to 15% of the Noir de Noir price.
Nevertheless and as far as I’m concerned, this is probably Tom Ford’s best fragrance.

I fell out of love with Noir de Noir for about a year. Recently, I reached for this fragrance to wear on a night out. I’m now back in love with NOIR DE ‘FREAKING’ NOIR. Yes! Contrary to popular opinion, I love wearing this on summer nights. I don’t get complimented but you know what it is when ppl just stand a little too close to you. They may not say anything but trust me, they’re getting their whole life while standing so close to you. I’m gonna need another bottle – Tom please stop reformulating. Thank you!

The initial blast of rose was pretty, but it started to feel a bit too sweet in a boozy way, and then the kiss of death for me: chocolate. I should have ignored the notes and read reviews. Like Flowerbomb for Him.

  15. :

It is a simple rose patchouli oud combo. That is it.
Absolutely not worth the price! If you like rose patchouli oud you will most likely be as happy to own YSL Elle, JoMalones Velvet Rose and Oud or from Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme. The differences in smell i almost null.
So why waste you money on a very common very accessable scent?
    Longevity is medium. Sillage ok.

  16. :

Opens with rose and something almost like peach or candy, definitely sweet, soon dried down to all patchouli, hint of marshmallow vanilla. Unisex. Reminds me of Voleur de Roses for those looking for a more affordable interpretation of rose and patchouli.

I love the juicy full opening, but the drydown loses its depth. Worth trying for oriental and classic rose lovers, but it’s not for me.

Scent – oakmoss, patchouli saffron opening that morphed into vanilla rose & oud.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night.
    Projection – I did get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
    Longevity – I get 24hrs consistently.

I’ve been searching for my perfect rose for a really long time, finally I found this gem and just can’t stop smelling myself. Usually rose scents give me a headache or are too ¨cold¨ and ¨dry¨ for my liking. But Noir de Noir is just pure perfection. It’s warm and inviting and rosy and interesting and sensual and elegant and mysterious, all at the same time. Then it becomes more and more comfortable and cosy through out the day. It’s everything I ever wanted in a rose scent and more…

I agree with the Morticia Addams comparison. One of the few rose scents I can wear. I get dead powdery incense roses, the earthy smell of soil after a storm, and sweet chocolate. The patchouli is present but toned down instead of the slap in the face level some of the goth boys used to wear. I once had an India rose balm perfume that was pretty close to this scent. As much as I love this it seems a bit pricey. I have the mini, and would likely buy the body spray version once the mini runs out.

I do not smell ROSE at all; just all woody scent for me, although I do smell the tuberose in it. A very masculine perfume and it reminds me of my dad’s perfume (my boyfriend says it reminds him of his dad too). It is spicy musky (soft woody)..softer accord than 1Million Prive.

Sometimes it feels like mouth-watering but very strong rose liquor, and sometimes like I am alone in a dry, clean and empty room with rose incense rising somewhere.
To buy 250ml bottle of Noir de Noir without feeling guilty is my eventual dream.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

Beautiful. The initial phase is all rose, but then vanilla, patch and a very light oud come in and that’s where I fell in love. I don’t own a full bottle but it’s on my wishlist.
I don’t mind buying paying a little extra when a perfume is well blended with better than average longevity (6+ hrs)

Rose, patchouly, oakmoss, interesting and fun…incredibly overpriced though!

I had seen a lot of talk about how Noir de Noir was this immensely beautiful and well composed fragrance, so I was naturally to witness the beauty myself.
Much to my upset, Noir de Noir didn’t appear to me with any of the given complexity as stated. Instead, the fragrance just presented me this single, overbearing rose. That was so simple natured—and thus, so unqualified as a suitor of any kind.
Maybe a hint on the Bachelor?
Truly boring—and hopelessly romantic beyond what’s presented. It’s like buying your woman roses and expecting her to love you immensely (without ever putting any foot service in). A $20 dollar fragrance has more character than this. —???
Instead of Black on Black—maybe black top, white bottom? Because you’re not likely to hold any woman’s heart with this kind of trivial package and performance.

There is something old school and classy about noir de noir. Very smooth and calm but it has a character which is distinctive. I get the rose, vanilla and oud the most of all. I tested it in a shop and even after shower it still lingers on my skin. Beautiful fragrance!

  31. :

This is beautiful juice! Very sultry, lovely rose, vanilla, patchouli-only not too much, just right. It’s quite soft and very close to the skin on me. As with most TF that I have had the pleasure to try, this one also stays close to my skin and has very short lasting power. But if you can get a hold of this in a sample (I get mine from Luckyscent) it is so worth it, just to see for yourself how lovely it is. I find it very feminine, but I wouldn’t mind at all smelling this on my hubby. If it were less expensive, I might consider buying a bottle, but the lasting power is too short for me.

Tried so hard to love this .. but the Tuber mixed with Saffron made it too hard for my nose to accept it.
It smelled like mold and fungus united in that Tom Ford bottle.
    Can’t. Just Can’t.

My new favorite Tom Ford. I’ll definitely be purchasing this in the near future, probably just a 30ml, which you can find for around $100 on Scent Split. Very seductive red rose and cocoa powder scent. Definitely unisex, but it actually does feel somewhat masculine on me, thanks to the spices and oud in this. Smells amazing on clothes too. Sex in a bottle.

A sophisticated, slightly heavy rose/woody scent. Nice enough, but guess what: It shares 98% of its DNA with the iconic and (still) wonderful Antaeus; the resemblance is quite striking actually. So if you want the NdN experience for less than half the price, try Chanel.

Anyone interested in buying Noir de Noir? I love it so much unfortunately I get a headache after a while of wearing it. It’s hardly used since I’ve been using my sample. It has its packaging and is in excellent condition as I mention it was hardly taken out of the box. Please send me a msg if interested, thanks.

Noir de Noir smells like blood red rose petals, merlot, dark chocolates filled with liqeur, satin lingerie, bed sheets after sex, and a touch of a man’s cologne and sweat (patchouli/oud) on warm skin. It smells very feminine to me, but I could see how it could be unisex/masculine if your skin amplifies the earthy notes. On me, it smells purely of dark roses, chocolate, fine alcoholic beverages, silk, and sex. So much so, that I could only wear this on date night. It’s too naughty for daytime, and too refined for anything other than an intimate night spent alone with your partner (in other words, not a clubbing/party fragrance). Quite possibly both the sexiest and most sexual fragrance I have ever encountered. Huge compliment getter as well. If I had to describe it in one word-passionate.

The best chocolate and rose scent in the world!!! To my nose anyway. Beautiful dark yet sweet chocolate with the freshness of the rose. My favourite Tom Ford private blend thus far. Initial spray is quite alarming but the dry down is magnificent. I’m always slightly aggrieved to purchase Tom Ford’s as the price is outrageous but this really is a wonderful scent and certainly a luxury treat!

This is my first ever review and I love this scent. I bought Tom Ford Patchouli Absolu and got TF Noir De Noir as a sample bottle. I layered them wearing them to a work night out Christmas party and within 10 minutes had my first compliment from a passing woman who told me I smelled amazing to the consternation of her partner. What was even better is that she was a very classy looking lady with a younger better looking partner than me. I felt like I owned the evening, layering in a little level of conceit and confidence. I became the man in the advert, I was transported outwith myself with this scent; I became the rose and the patchouli, I became the antihero of the evening. Anti hero? yes, as with this scent you are every mans nemesis a threat to his insecurities. I feel that layering it with PA it becomes a little more masculine and adds to the longevity. I was smelling it as a skin scent 16 hours later.

Dec. 2017 – bought my bottle today especially for an upcoming event – a Masquerade Ball! Of all the fragrances I own, 200+, I couldn’t think of a better choice. (Maybe my vintage Must De Cartier or vintage Opium). Event is black tie. Freshly flocked trees all around, mink coats against the cold air. Everyone disguised in our authentic Venetian Colombinas. Champagne bubbling up and wine flowing down our throats. And my Noir de Noir will be wafting through the air as I pass on my way to the dance floor. Rich, dark, mysterious, sexy, bold, flirty, My dress is black, with burgundy roses embroidered on a sheer black bodice. There’s a thigh high slit in the skirt and ruffles line the hem. The dress looks like the fragrance smells. Thank you, Tom Ford, for having the vision to dress ladies in fragrance!!!

I wore this fragrance today. This overpowered tobacco oud and tobacco Vanille, and I had sprayed NdN on my neck hours before I was in Holt Renfrew spraying on TO and TV. I think I’ll stick to Noir De Noir. I find it to be more versatile and just overall a better quality scent.

This hit me with pruned roses in a vase, overly sugared lemonade, then amaretto non-dairy creamer–gorgeous wild things tamed and tempered to be generic. I felt the need to mind my dirty mouth, to check my shirt buttons for too much cleavage.
Then the guy said, “you smell like my mother.”
    She wears Obsession.
    So that’s that.

Yeah, I REALLY like this but not enough to buy a full priced bottle. I did “invest” in a body spray. Again, I really like it. It’s a sweet and powdery rose on my skin. It does manage to be sort of “dark” and it’s sexy for sure! I get a tiny hint of oud – but nothing that I find myself focusing on or that bothers me (I’m not a big fan of oud.)
Edit: I recently bought Club de Nuit Intense Armaf for women and it is a really great dupe for TF Noir de Noir. Save your money and get the Armaf.

    Morticia Addams´ perfume.
    Definitely.
    How could I know it?
Because wearing this perfume is like watching a movie.
Take 1 – Morticia is cutting the buds off of roses, which she discards, keeping only the stems.
Take 2 – Morticia is walking through the family cemetery in the night, the air is humid and smells like wet leaves and soil.
Take 3 – Morticia is preparing some mysterious potion consisting of dried saffron, vanilla seeds & tuber essence.
The potion is as “noir” as it can be, deeply sweet, with a light spicy undertone & balsamic/earthy mist in the background.
This fragrance is… I´d like to use word “enigmatic” /just like Morticia is/.
And I must confess this matter of fact – my Halloween costume was Morticia this year. And yes – I put this perfume on. I think that the illusion was perfect, children were crossing the street when they noticed me. Well done, Noir de Noir, well done.

A fine pick from the private line’s greatest hits collection. Noir de Noir is equal parts sexy and subdued. It doesn’t throw punches at people like some of Tom Ford’s louder scents. It’s an earthy rose infused with cacao and refined patchouli. Warm and buttery, meditative and relaxing. There is definitely a hint of chocolate but it’s far from gourmand. An extremely well balanced, fine scent. But it does seem a little weak, and if I’m going to spend that kind of money I want something with a little more oomph.

This fragrance is truly something else! I purchased this perfume back in August, and I was saving it for a rather special occasion. This Friday, the 21st, will be my 4 year anniversary with my girlfriend, and I feel that NdN is the perfect scent. I have worn this whilst testing it in store, but never a true, full wear. I cannot wait to finally start wearing this masterpiece! A very romantic fragrance, that will certainly set the mood for you and whoever you wish to encounter. Floral, sweet, and at the same time masculine. Sexy, indulgent (just as Tom Ford the man himself describes it). My top Tom Ford Private Blend next to Tobacco Oud.
I had amazing projection and sillage with NdN. Longevity is superb. Very powerful juice! Worth the price tag!
Wear your favorite dress shirt. A pair of slacks, and shine up those dress shoes! Oh, and some Noir De Noir!

Noir de Noir is a beautiful earthy rose. A bit of saffron in the beginning then the rich dark rose blooms in full splendor. Its a gorgeous fragrance, and I highly recommend trying the body spray version for $60. Its also strong and lasts a long time. I can only imagine both layered. Heaven.
    Super buy for winter.

I disagree with the reviewer below me. I received my 10ml decant of Noir de Noir recently, and today while I was running late to run errands, I sprayed a single spray on my chest, and 13 hours later I can still get whiffs of it. Maybe the decant I own was decanted from the vintage/pre-reformulation batch, and as everyone know, this perfume has been reformulated in the past. So far, I am impressed with the performance and projection of this scent. I grew up in the middle east, and I reckon that a majority of the Saudi people I encountered wear NdN. When I first received it, I couldn’t put a single finger on where I had smelled it before but, then I was like YES THATS THE SCENT I KNOW VERY WELL. Middle eastern people are known for their taste in expensive and fine fragrances, and I credit them for evoking and nurturing my admiration for scents that I have today.
Anyway back to the performance of the scent, it smells like a mixture of pat-vanilla-rose, and so far I cannot smell oud or chocolate in any of its phase. My nose is acoustomed to oud, and so far, I detect none. Perhaps I need to compound the number of sprays to get a full effect of this magical potion. This stuff is potent, and I find that one spray can give me a projection of 3-4 feet. I will update once I compound the number of sprays when there is an occasion or reason to do so.

I received this perfume as a gift from my husband, but it has no lasting power AT ALL! My husband bought this perfume at the duty-free in the airport and he told me that, the tester was so strong and long-lasting. In fact that I could smell it for hours on the paper test. My daughter tried too and the same: as soon as you spray it, is gone. Tom Ford should be ashamed asking such a high price for a bottle of water!!!! I advise you to be careful on purchasing this perfume unless you want to throw away your money!

Noir de Noir is part of the Tom Ford Private Blend collection. It might be of interest to those of you who love a layered rose scent. It starts off with an opening that is very much about saffron. Noir de Noir is smoothly blended, so much so that the saffron is mildly detected under the sweet rising heart note of semi-sweet chocolate. There is a bit of an alcohol wave here that is like a candied dark liqueur, warm and smooth. Once the liqueur sensation gives way, Noir de Noir opens up to a brooding, dark rose and truffle scent. The heart notes take their time settling in, and it isn’t until the dry-down that you can appreciate the blending of the vanilla, rose, truffle and chocolate hovering over a slightly earthy patchouli. There was some confusion by Noir de Noir in the beginning by its imposing dark and mysteriously sweet personality. This fragrance walks a fine line as being unisex and is just a tad more feminine that Tom Ford would like you to believe. Sample first, but it might be love at it first sniff.

My favorite private blend – hands down. this fragrance is just stunning!
it is rich, Dense, opulent, gourmand, creamy, sexy, erotic, fun, provocative, sweet, luscious, and every other synonym i can come up with to describe pleasure or something delicious.
This thing starts of as a huge bomb on me of roses/honey (yes even if it’s not listed) and chocolate. Holy hell, it is INTENSE for the first 5-10 mins.
then, the most incredible thing happens, it turns into the most delicious, heady chocolate i have ever out my nose on! I mean, it smells like a delicious chunk of dark chocolate served on a bed of roses….oh my F**** god it is just amazing! one of the most photorealistic scents i have EVER tried!
    10/10 MASTERPIECE!

The rose note really expressed itself on my skin in this mild autumn weather here in the Midwest. It just never evolved into anything deeper or more interesting. Just a straight powdery rose scent. I blame my skin more than the fragrance since it smelled great in the store. I ended up returning it for a bottle of Tobacco Oud.

I dont understand the complaints about Noir De Noir’s longevity.
NDN lasted on my skin 48 hours, & i could still get wafts of it without putting my wrist to my nose. It wasnt a skin scent until after 72 hours.
NDN lasted on my shirt for an entire week. I own the reformulation & i dont have any problems with performance what so ever.

    …Bah..
    Conveniente.
    Il drydown?…BEDTIME STORIES

This is the Tom Ford that should have been named F***ing Fabulous.
It all began approximately a month and a half ago when I finally tried Noir de Noir for the first time, and I owe a thank you to two lovely ladies, osandra and Eyviab.
Noir de Noir was never even on my radar to try with rose being listed as the most prominent note; I like rose, but not ROSE. However, when I was asking for suggestions in the the forum, the amazing osandra mentioned this one; so I finally decided to buy a sample and test it. Admittedly, I was not expecting much, but after that first whiff from the sample, I was in love.
…And down the rabbit hole, I fell.
Over the next month, I wore through over an ounce worth of Noir de Noir decants, wearing it almost everyday FOR A MONTH! Oooooh, it is THAT good. Then Eyviab, being the angel that she is, sold me her bottle. Muah! Considering how often I have been wearing my new treasure, I thought it wise to invest in a back-up as well.
I know that I am a very selective perfumista, and I am perfectly content not having a huge wardrobe, but I have still had my nose on many, MANY different fragrances. Throughout all of my sniffing, Noir de Noir is one of the very few that I consider “Shalimar status”, and if you know how I feel about Shalimar, then you know that is the highest compliment I can give another fragrance.
I agree with others that this is Valentine’s Day in a bottle; it’s so rich, deep, romantic and compelling, and dare I say the best chocolate fragrance.
Sure, there are tons of other rose-patch fragrances, rose-oud perfumes, and rose-patch-oud combinations, but none of them are quite like Noir de Noir.

As @Ascentofman says below, Rose and Truffles, sounds simple but this is ethereal perfume.

Yes it’s unisex, yes it’s gorgeous!
    Simply stunning perfume.
2 notes dominate but they work incredible together; Black Roses & dark chocolate.
Not sweet, cloying or sickly, but literally the smell of roses dipped in the finest dark chocolate.
The fragrance envelopes you with a density I’ve only felt with Black Afgano, wearing this feels almost ethereal.

    Truly delightful and delicious!
When I got this a few years ago, it was described to me as containing oud, black rose and black truffle. I feel they failed to mention that it contained a little black magic too, as I was under its spell the moment I first encountered it.
Love this and will certainly buy another when my existing bottle runs low.

I have no idea why so many think that the patchouli is the second most intensive note in this, to me it is all about the rose and the saffron. Also there is something wild and dewy lingering around this massive rose bouquet.
This smells gothic, juicy, velvety black and just lovely. If Morticia Addams would have a favorite perfume, it would be this one definetly.

Noir de Noir by Tom Ford is truly bewitching! This is one of the few fragrances I own where I can literally smell every note, yet they complement one another so perfectly. A lush rose spiced up with saffron and a sweet hint of vanilla all on a bed of green patchouli leaves with a wisp of oakmoss and the resinous, woody smell of oud and earthy tuber. This is like wearing black velvet and carrying a bouquet of red roses to a cemetery at night, there is something dark and somber about it yet very serene. Absolutely gorgeous fragrance!

Tom Ford Private Blend Collection has struck me in such a way, that I want to own one or two of his fragrances. I am quite familiar with his offerings. I own Black Orchid (the EDP for women) which I absolutely love! Lately I have had quite an interest in Noir De Noir. Josh Donaldson, my favorite baseball player, kind of inspired me to want this fragrance. I have smelt it about a year ago. I love the use of black rose, which does not make it too feminine. The black truffle is also a great earthy tone that pairs well with the vanilla and patchouli. The patchouli gives it a floral vibe which is great. All around, this scent is unique and certainly one that will get you noticed.
So, I went out to Holt Renfrew this afternoon and first sprayed this on myself to help me decide. I gave it some time. I walked around the mall for almost an hour, I came back and I bought it. This fragrance is absolutely astounding! It’s very seductive, floral, sweet (not gourmand) and certainly the secret weapon on almost anyone’s collection. It is certainly unisex, but I feel depending on the wearer, they make it their own. It has great longevity and sillage, certainly is something unlike any other that I own. Tom Ford did an amazing job with Noir De Noir. This marks my first Private Blend purchase. I am now a proud owner of his masterpiece.

This is a great scent. My first thoughts when I smell this is chocolate, deep and dark with a hint of something sweet, sweet meaning like chocolate covered raspberries or cherries. It is a great scent to wear. I see this more in the winter time. I see it more in cold weather and more on date night. I can’t use this too much here in south Florida but I would love to be able to wear this more. I feel it is very elegant and classy. I call this the Valentine’s Day cologne. It is for that moment and anything else you can do relating to that, such as dinner dates, winter, Christmas etc….
    An excellent fragrance.

Tested yesterday, sample from Scent Samples.
    Love at first sniff.
Despite reviews warning to only use a couple of sprays, I used quite a few. Wrists, inner forearms, collarbones, neck, chest and belly. It didn’t open with a huge blast, for me. But oh, oh, ohhhh…how I LOVE the opening. Sweet, so sweet, the rose, but with a luscious dark undertone to it, almost gourmand.
Within the first hour I detected a clearly animalic note. I am a fan of animalic accords, so this is not at all off-putting to me. A hint of fecal, also, but it was very fleeting – the truffle, I suppose. Dirtiness underneath the sweetness of the rose. What a sexy, sexy scen
