Description
“Our intoxicating black brandy accord starts with a rich extract of brandy aged in French Oak barrels. At more than $19,000 per kilogram, this is one of the most expensive materials available to us and when combined with creamy notes of sandalwood, forms the identity of this enticing fragrance.
To add a sensual and comforting warmth to the fragrance, we recreated the sophisticated scent of a walk-in humidor by blending notes of sweet Cuban tobacco, smoked Spanish cedar and fresh tonka beans.
Our sultry salted caramel accord brings the addictive allure of contrasting salty and sweet notes using a foundation of warm caramel and fleur de sel, further deepened by hints of vintage Colheita port and a touch of orange flower absolute.” – a note from the brand.
No. 19 by The Fragrance Design Studio is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. No. 19 was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Cecile Hua. The fragrance features brandy, sandalwood, tobacco, cedar, tonka bean, caramel, salt and orange blossom.

Hard to improve the opening ; it does not smell anything at all to alcohol, from the beginning a smooth tobacco, similar to Avant Garde (obviously clearing the quality distances) or Volutes or Fumerie, is clearly visible.
it is said that the Brandy chord that uses part of an absolute that is worth $ 19,000 per kilo … I do not know , for me with the alcoholic notes it always happens to me the same, I do not smell alcohol, I guess they give texture, background, character but I do not smell Brandy to be honest .
The perfume seems to me rather linear , also like almost all tobbacos it has sweet nuances (it is not a very obvious candy or a very obvious tonka since the protagonist is tobacco and the two mentioned ingredients make an accompaniment function, perhaps the brandy also favor that soft sweetness.
And well, it may have traces of woods and orange blossom but in much less intensity. Now in the deep drying maybe I also dare to say that it is less sweet and it may be that mildy salty .
With two sprays I smell it well for about 7 hours it has even given me two compliments, one newly put and another at 45 minutes approx.
I do not usually aceept or join these prices and there are similar things out there, but I must admit that the perfume is very good.

Strong but balanced- I get tobacco and sweet liquor primarily, with woody and caramel nuances. It is sweet but not girly-sweet or saccharine, and despite the masculine woods it is totally unisex, unlike the sweeter, lighter, and more masculine Jazz Club (MMM). I do not smell any floral tones at all; No 19 is much more a 1920’s speakeasy atmospheric aroma.
