This can be worn day or not. Due to its refined scent, it will not be offensive to others, and certainly not the wearer.
I tend to like fragrances with a history. The maker of this fragrance has personal rapport with her clients which makes the scent even more wearable and memorable to me.

Surprised this line doesn’t have more reviews. I had the chance to sample several recently and they deserve more attention here.
Civet Chypre barely registers as a floral to me – the flowers give a darkish, rich quality but that’s all. Add to this a green edge at the top, a touch of powder in the middle, and a wonderful warm furry quality to the mid and base. The sillage is slightly lacking but otherwise recommended!
