Yes it’s rose but it’s a rose that has been plugged in and become dazzled care of the blossom note. They are very much as strong as each other in this gorgeous creation. The sambac jasmine is definitely present and acts as a support to the main players.
I did get some zesty kick from the bergamot on the opening.
If you normally steer clear of the rose note then this is definitely one to try and be pleasantly surprised by.
I think on balance it’s the blossom that is Queen here. She is the last to leave the stage.
