Description
“The inspiration for creating Naema was the sumptuous scenery of an Italian theatre with its monumental crystal chandelier hanging from a richly crafted ceiling. And, of course, the drama and grandeur of the Italian opera! Love, passion and faith – all this things you’ll find in a bottle with the scent of Naema!
The composition captures from the first notes! A placer of iris petals in combination with notes of ripe black currant keeps in tension from the first to the last chord. A note of rum (so untypical for oriental fragrance) adds exotics and complicates the sound of the fragrance. Woody notes enhance the perception of oriental nuance in the perfume composition.” – a note from the brand.
Naema was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Alan Alchenberger.

Love at first sniff, bought on the spot!
Naema is the best creation of this house. It feels natural and realistic but not oriental. You must try it if you love mint & natural florals.
I get something different from the note combo and I’ll try to describe it. The opening has the most realistic mint note I’ve ever experienced. It also has jasmine, cassis, ambergis, white musk, faint rose and maybe a little smoky (incense?) white honey and tiny traces of cardamom. The outcome feels quite natural to my nose.
Let me explain to you with an experience. There’s a small bridge were I pass everyday to go to my house. There are many plants there and natural small river. Wild mint, various wild flowers, jasmine, trees, ivy plants, beautiful aromatic sambucus nigra plants big like trees. The smell is almost the same with Naema.. this is why I loved it immediatelly.
The longevity is OK, the projection is limited.
Edit
OK I was wrong. The opening reminds western perfumery. The dry down is pure oriental. This is not an ethereal scent such as Hermes Jardin line. It feels thick but pleasant. And I get clearly the rum and the fruits. But the black currant and the mint are quite strong.
