Apples and cinnamon, dry leaves and hot apples pies remind us of the first days of autumn. Demeter Fragrance is launching a fragrant duo which offers autumn in a bottle with its sensual, gourmand and warm compositions.
Mulled Cider brings us sweet apples combined with accords of cinnamon and spices. Cider is an alcohol beverage made by apple juice fermentation. Even though cider can be made of any sort of apples, there are specific cultivated sorts named cider apples. Cider was made in England even before Christian era. This beverage was very popular in the whole population, even among children.
All three autumn fragrances are available as 15ml cologne purse spray, 15ml cologne splash, 30ml cologne spray, 125ml cologne spray, 125ml atmosphere spray, 125ml Calming body lotion, 125ml foaming bath and shower gel, 90ml tender bath oils and 200ml olive oil infused soap.
Mulled Cider was launched in 2009.

Each time I wear Mulled Cider it feels like Christmas. Apple cider dominated by cinnamon. It radiates Cinnamon like crazy, just pure brilliance in a bottle. This smells fantastic on my skin and my wife has a love for cinnamon, so its a win win for me. You can not go wrong with this & I intend to never be without this wonderful fragrance. The only drawback is that it only lasts for 3 to 4 hours and then you need to respray. I do have a couple other fragrances by this company and I am going to get some more to try out.

OMG. OMG. Oh. My. God. Like…this is kind of what my brain was like when I sprayed this on this morning. My brain actually turned INTO mulled apple cider and I lost all ability to think and could just SMELL. It’s like I was in a steamy tub of mulled apple cider and there were little cinnamon sticks floating around. Words cannot describe the sensations that were running through my mind. Apple/cinnamon is a power-couple perfume set (others include passion fruit/coconut and tonka bean/musk). It’s so perfectly spicy, and sweet. It’s fall, and comfort…like being wrapped in a fleece snuggie. I cannot say this emphatically enough…I LOVE THIS PERFUME. I’m going to buy this again and again and try out some of the other Demeter fragrances.

SPOT ON. This does smell exactly like mulled cider. Big juicy red apple at first spray – I get golden visions of apple juice as a child – then the cinnamon-dominant spice swells. It’s very much a potpourri, candle, craft store pinecone fragrance. Nuances of vanilla. Warm, spicy, juicy, a little bit gourmand. As it settles the apple gets sweeter and the spice gets softer, almost a tiny bit floral. Sillage on me is about 6 inches and longevity is a few hours. Warm, optimistic, cozy, nostalgic. It’s going up to 90 degrees with high humidity today and I’m not feeling this, but I can’t wait for a cool fall day to bask in it.

At first, this smells like the real homemade red apple juice! Not like store bought apple juice. You can almost taste the grit at the bottom the glass. The spices enhance the apple essence just perfectly. I smell mostly cinnamon and maybe a hint of clove. At first the apple is quite strong but then it is joined by the spices, and settles really nicely. Very slightly sweetened though also crisp with a hint of tartness. Very very autumnal and pleasant. It does kind of end up smelling like a dried apple and cinnamon stick potpourri – but in the most pleasant way possible. A coworker said (with a smile, mind you) that I smelled like a Yankee Candle! I will be wearing it this fall. It is pretty uplifting!
This is a review for the cologne splash. This one has very decent projection and lasting power if you apply liberally. It was still detectable for me after 5 hours.

This smells like a Christmas candle, in a good way. I don’t know if I would wear this on a regular basis, but I can see it being perfect for the holidays 🙂

An exact replica of mulled cider. Dry, spicy apples wiht a warm sense. Very nicely done.
