As opposed to the impression of perfume oil, the sillage is weak, kind of like a skin scent.
When first applied, I can smell powdery aldehyde musk and hint of violet.
After a while, the aldehydic musk dissapears and reveals a lovely rose smell (similiar to Rose 4 Reines from L`Occitane) mixed with wood. The smell remained for another 2 hours, grew weaker and vanished.
Surprising light for a arabic oil scent. Or was it made to be layered it with other oils?
Update: I wore it on my body, the rose lasted more than 5 hours, good lasting power.

I have to agree with Bigsly, quite violety. But I must add that the dry down is extremely creamy. I love the dry down in this oil, however, it does not project very well. And the longevity is just average.
But that being said, its a nice safe scent. It is very likeable, and wearable. Good as a gift, if you are unsure on what perfume to buy someone.

From a dab sampling I got the violet but very little else. I’ll have to do a regular wearing and report back, though I think you’ll be disappointed if you want a powerful oriental/oud base here.
