This body mist smells so good, and lasts quite a while to be a body mist, especially when you layer it with the matching lotion. This smells like straight up fresh and clean flowers, and kind of reminds of the Bath and Body Works shower gel called Freesia.

I’m thinking about picking up a bottle of this for the summer as I used to wear it a lot when I was in the Navy 2001-2003. Its a great clean, fresh, floral aquatic. Non offensive and long lasting for a body spray. I always got compliments and it is non offensive.

Some of my friends say I have a fragrance addiction and I own a lot of expensive perfumes. With that being said, this body spray has amazing projection and longevity to pass Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works. I normally HATE florals and I love this scent! I think it is ageless as I began using it when I was 18 years old and my grandmother wore it and smelled lovely. To me, it almost smells like Febreeze but in a good way. It smells fresh, floral and clean. It reminds me of walking outside on a dewy morning and smelling the flowers after a rain. I don’t pick up any fruity notes just a very watery fresh floral that smells like you just took a shower. It is green, powdery, and girly. This is one of my all time favourites. It belongs in the same aquatic family as scents like Cool Water Woman without the fruit. It is innocent and simple. Even if florals aren’t for you if you love fresh scents give this one a try.

Last year, I saw MORNING GLORY on various lists of best cheap scents, but until then I’m not sure I’d even noticed it in drugstores. I have to say, it’s a great find and nobody would guess what it is.
For the first few minutes, MORNING GLORY smells somewhat astringent and reminds me of men’s aftershave, but once the alcohol evaporates, MORNING GLORY becomes smoother and sweeter, but in a very fresh and crisp way. It’s not overly floral or fruity and there are no notes of vanilla. There is similarity to LIGHT BLUE, although MORNING GLORY is a bit sweeter and has less citrus. Sillage is moderate for two or three hours and then steps down to a skin-scent for a few more. (I have the “Intense” version. There is also a body mist that I haven’t tried.)

DISCLAIMER: I have never smelled the EDP, only the body mist.
I used to use the body mist when I smoked to try to cover up the smoke smell a bit at work (although I probably just smelled like cigarettes + body mist, oh well). I was about 22-23 then, and I do think this is a scent that would appeal to younger people. It is fresh, neutral, and clean smelling, and the aquatic notes balance the floral notes keeping this from being overly flowery. It reminds me of a nice smelling shampoo or other hair product. My tastes have since changed, but I wouldn’t mind sitting next to someone who is wearing the body spray.

I remember wearing this in middle school and thinking it smelled very much like the ocean, very watery. I loved it. Its perfect for putting on after a shower, totally inoffensive and fresh. Great for young teens or people who dont like strong scents but still want to smell good.

I prefer the scent of the body mist a bit more than the edp intense version. The edp intense is fruitier and less floral. The blood orange and apple are prominent from start to finish. It lasts only 4 hours which isn’t much longer than the body spray.
I’ve had plenty of compliments with the body spray but never the perfume. I would rather layer the 2 to try for better longevity and bring out those florals. If only i could just remember to buy a body spray next time i leave the house.
Remembering when Calgon came out with a string of these in 1998 were some fond memories for me. There was Spring Rain,Water Lillies (my all time fave),Hawaiian Ginger,Grassy Plains, etc. I preferred these body sprays for daily use in spring & summer over any edt and edp i that i owned. It was because of this line of body sprays that made me realize how much i love aquatic fragrances. I still do to this day.

A nice first-date fragrance, I’ve always thought. Fresh, pleasant, complex enough to be interesting, but not trying too hard. 🙂

BODY MIST: Never seen this as a perfume, but I have been using the body mist since the 90’s. This was one of the first fragrances I ever owned and I still love it to this day! I’m not a body mist girl but I will gladly continue to purchase this as long as it is available from Calgon. Very FRESH and pretty out of the shower scent. I reach for this EVERY spring and summer. A must have in my collection at all times. It has good longevity and decent sillage for a body mist. Love it. I will have to keep my eye open for the perfume version! 🙂
Side Note: Now if only Calgon would bring back the “water lilies” scent! It has long been discontinued but it was a close 2nd place to “morning glory” for me back in the day. 🙂

Fresh blue aquatic with a clean shower vibe. I think I get a little apple but it’s not sweet, just crisp. This has a laundry vibe like a milder version of Jil Sander Style Pastels Green. Low sillage but reasonable longevity for a lower cost scent. It’s good in the hot and humid weather as it has a cool feel to it without any citrus notes.

This fragrance makes me feel so fresh. It’s like a breath of fresh air. The best out of the shower fragrance.

This is an impressive fragrance!!! For the price, the lasting power is phenomenal. It lasts all day long. It’s so clean, as others have said – a lovely just out of the shower fresh smell. This is one drugstore find that is well worth the money, one that I will buy over and over again. It’s my favorite of all the Calgon line and is better than many name brand perfumes I own.

    [body spray]
    Shower fresh, jasmine-apple.
I’m tempted to gift this for a friend with BO…

I have the body spray of this one, and like others have already said, it does smell clean and soapy like you are shower fresh. It’s a perfect casual fragrance, especially in hot weather.
For an $8 body spray I am pretty darn impressed with this. It smells better than a lot of more costly perfumes and it lasts all day long, especially when sprayed on clothing.

Wow, there are a lot of notes listed here for a simple floral aquatic. I am getting the jasmine, orchid and apple the most. Water doesn’t really have a smell, but this falls into the aquatic category for me. This smells soapy and clean, but not necessarily perfumey. Its as if you just stepped out of the shower. A very fresh scent.

I wore this body spray for many many years in my 20s! (I actually had no idea there was a perfume version until just now). Absolutely adored it, and it’s SO cheap for a bottle. People would always say I smelled like I just stepped out of the shower. Wonderful summer fragrance! Very light. Kept me feeling fresh in the intense heat where I live. I could spray it all over my body and it would never be overwhelming, and works really well in 100+ degree temps. In fact, I’m wondering why I don’t use this stuff anymore as I’m writing this. 🙂

This body spray is just the thing for busy days, when you don’t have time to shower before going somewhere, just spritz it on your pits and you’re good to go. It smells clean and nice, reminds me of Moonlight Path by Bath and Body Works.

I think I had this when I was a young teenager as a body mist. I find this scent refreshing, captivating, and uplifting.

I first smelled this when it was just a body splash but this really is a very fresh scent. It is inexpensive and whenever I would wear it I always received compliments.

This item is well worth the money! Reminds me of the perfumes from Clean! Smells clean and “out of the shower”-fresh!

Cool, heady geranium and rose awash in blue water. Very floral and very clean. Also just a tiny bit powdery – for me, perfect on a snowy winter’s morning.
It projects well and lasts a long time on my skin.

EDIT – August 3, 2015 – Sad news: I sprayed this on today and I think it’s turned. Silver lining: it now smells like a blue Sweet Tart.
