OMG Issey Miayke PURE!!, this is what it smells like.
I was sitting down thinking,”I know this perfume from somewhere?” Issey Miyake Pure!! Omg, I smelt this today in John Lewis. And this perfume has been discontinued years ago!
This was my favourite perfume back in the day when I did not have much money.
I would spray this like it was water! it made me feel good cheered me up!
It was uplifting!, It was cheap too!
Buy Issey Miyake Pure, it’s more expensive but such a clone!
I love this perfume shame they discontinued it!! The notes are different but god it smells so identical!

I had this as a teenager, the first perfume I bought for myself. I’d forgotten about it till smelling l’Eau d Issey this morning, it reminded me of something but it took me ages to put my finger on what. It was this, Monsoon. I can’t remember exactly what it smelt like, but there’s definitely a link between the two, somewhere in that creamy green-ness.

I’ve still got 2 very old bottles of this. I’m making it last…it’s one I always loved and another of the perfumes I’m gutted to see discontinued. Why do they do this to all the best perfumes? Black Cashmere, Amaranthine, Monsoon, Le Dix, Un Amour de Patou…I could go on. It’s really upsetting. Anyway, I loved this when I was a teenager and I still do.

Oh,my!!!Went to pharmacy today to buy a pack of tissues…you know those little forgotten pharmacies in the middle of nowhere…Behind some classics I caught a glance of an old blue box❤. £17 well spent.I’m so happy

I think anyone who was a teen in the mid-late nineties probably owned a bottle of this and ‘ocean dream’. A classic fruity floral musk with an aquatic top note which just doesn’t belong there. I remember the bottle vividly.

There is one listed on Ebay monsoon wild lagoon 🙂

This was one if my absolute favs when I was younger. I was so disappointed when it was discontinued and think they should bring it back! I haven’t found any thing similar so far and I’m open to suggestions.

Hello sisters :-), if you are still trying to find this fragrance, have a look at ebay no. 166214004523

People older than I am seem to love this one but for me it’s just too creamy.
l–g.ru – :
This frag was so lovely! Green, fresh but creamy and powdery too.
I seem to recall the Body Shop having a similar frag for a while, but the name escapes me. It was in a slender bottle of deep blue frosted glass…. Which of course is discontinued also. :/ Both were beautiful.

I loved this perfume & I long for some more but sadly it’s been discontinued in the UK 🙁 it’s really punchy & robust with a citrus floral type smell.

In the UK I use to buy this perfume in the shop called MONSOON. I am not sure if it has been discontinued. Luckily I have found today 2 bottles tucked away in my wardrobe. I have now rediscovered this lovely perfume.

im crazily looking for this perfume0please tell me where to get it?
Лёха0489 – :
Wasn’t this called Wild Lagoon? The bottle looks exactly the same.
OK, found the answer online. Monsoon was sold in Europe under the name “Wild Lagoon” by Coty.

I am searching for Monsoon from 1996 year, I had one, and can’t find it till now :((((
TundImminna – :
I loved it when it came out and would like to get some more, but it wasn’t to be. 🙁
I wear Sunflowers but it’s not the same.
Escape by Clavin Klein is said to be similar to Mosoon, but I haven’t tried it.
vitbuc – :
Can anyone tell me the name of fragrance that comes close to original Monsoon?
Tomik34 – :
where can i find a bottle!!! 🙁 lol i want more! smelt awsome!
lexx2010 – :
Loved the smell, loved the bottle – perfect when I was in my 20’s.
abercrombiedeutoov – :
beautiful bottle, hideous stench.
Olenaer – :
This stuff really reminds me of my 20’s. I think I had a bottle at the time. It’s not an indispensible fragrance although done by Maurice Roucel. In fact I smelled this vintage at a car boot sale only last week and it didn’t come home with me! It has a slightly generic watery scent which was so popular at the time and smells dated now. The budget probably wasn’t up to much either.
