Description

After the masculine edition of Gucci Guilty Absolute from the beginning of 2017, Gucci expands its Gucci Guilty perfume collection with the new women’s fragrance Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Femme, which comes out in early 2018. The fragrance was born from the collaboration between creative director of Gucci fashion house Alessandro Michele and perfumer Alberto Morillas.

“I wanted a blackberry note that would make you dream upon smelling it. It’s magical and it’s connected to nature, as well as to emotion. There is romance in this perfume, an aura of pure, free love”, ALESSANDRO MICHELE.

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme is created using a particular blend with a structure that remains unchanged from the first time it is applied to the skin. Goldenwood is complemented with a mysterious note of blackberry, creating a non-traditional chypre fruity fragrance for a contemporary woman. The fragrance’s composition is intensified with patchouli oils and Bulgarian rose.”

The new composition merges berries, flowers and chypre notes to create a more intense and sensual interpretation of Gucci Guilty fragrance from 2010. Like the men’s Absolute edition, Absolute pour Femme blends notes of Goldenwood® with natural extracts of Nootka Cypress. It includes note of aromatic plant with bitter citrusy scent called Monarda didyma.

It is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

Just discovered this one the other day at Ulta. After trying out several new fragrances I left the store and started to notice that the cool breeze around me had such a good scent. I start looking around to see who smells so good but stop and think, I’m the one who just finished testing perfumes. I hadn’t taken any paper testers but, one spritz got to my hand and that was it… It was sweet, refined with a vintage elegance as well as a slight masculinity that kept me sniffing my hand. Just beautiful. I imagine this lady isn’t afraid to make a statement. She doesn’t save the nice lingerie for a special occasion. She likes handwritten love letters, and sitting on the porch after a long day with a glass of wine.

First time wearing anything by Gucci, and I’m pleasantly surprised. This is smooth and refined. A blackberry accord with a strong cypress note is forward. Excellent projection in the first hour. Within an hour it mellows but the blackberry note is still present with an emerged rose, which becomes dominant in the drydown.
I really love this beautiful scent, but I have others that are similar. I’m reminded of my vintage bottle of YSL In Love Again, and also Diptyque’s L’Ombre dans l’Eau, except the berry note in the later is black currant. Still very similar vibe.
If I can pick this up for a good price, and I’m betting I can, then I will buy a 30 or 50 ml. This is a commercial offering with a nich vibe. Love it!

Here is another classy perfume. Unlike his male counterpart (which I find horrible) here we are faced with a truly fabulous creation but we do not exaggerate: Compare it to DIVINE Midnight Poison is pure blasphemy. Persistent and soft. In this case, morillas did the center. Great!

I’m loving this very Chic parfum..hmmmm

I do appreciate the cologne vibe that mixes with what would otherwise be a generic fruity floral crowd pleaser. If you don’t like patchouli, don’t bother, since it’s prominent. Guilty Absolute pour Femme is very woody and almost animalistic, but the sweet fruitiness and a touch of rose ensure it’s safe enough for the big audience.
A pleasant surprise among new designer perfumes that often seem to lack personality. Not exactly my cup of tea though. I get what Gucci is going for with the “modern chypre”. There is an earthy vibe that makes me think of a forest. On the other hand Guilty Absolute pour Femme is a legit rich bitch perfume you would ideally wear for a night out. I think there might be a bit of an identity crisis going on here: To be mainstream or not to be mainstream? That is the question.

Wow! Love it❤️Nice change from sweets, and think I’ve found a new genre I’ve not had many of! Fruity Chypre. Classy, slightly bitter, but by no means sharp! Love the blackberry too. Full bottle soon! Exudes confidence and class! I feel like this one is going to be a classic that many seek after in yrs to come.Happy to own it now! Another plus is that it’s good for any climate and situation!
Edit,,,I have Si intense and LOVE it too,,,so I guess I’m a Chypre fruity lover after all!
    LOVE the cypress❤️❤️

MsMelanieL: have you tried layering it with the matching body lotion? That should help the scent linger longer, but don’t forget that we often go noseblind to our own scent rather quickly and sometimes when you think a fragrance is gone, other people can still smell you, particularly those of us who are hypersensitive to fragrance.

I absolutely love this fragrance! I’ve tried wearing it several times now with the same problem, performance is very poor. I keep hearing reviews where they say it’s so strong and last a long time, well not on me. I’m bummed cause I really love it and get many compliments for the 1 hour it last. Any recommendations on how to help it last longer or is it just my body chemistry?

The opening is very similar to L’Ombre dans L’eau by Diptyque, which consists of cassis, and here with blackberry. After roughly 30 mins, this has given me the same impression of Montale Aoud Rose Petals/ Damascus/Queen Roses samples I got from a decade ago. Those were fun and addictive, but I didn’t buy them. It later turns out to be masculine roses with green woodiness.
Longevity is fairly impressive, 6 hr+, and lingers after shower. I love and enjoy perfumes that give good drydowns, so this is for me!
    Really quite beautiful!

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme is a refreshing departure and nice complement to the fittingly more masculine leather-and-patchouli Pour Homme released last year. Femme involves a blend of blackberry, rose, woods, and patchouli primarily, the blackberry starting off strong and heady but remaining a part of the mix throughout the life of the fragrance, blending excellently with the heart of rose and eventually a more relaxed base of patchouli, leather, and goldenwood. I don’t get much of the leather, or the vetiver in the heart, for that matter, as it’s mainly the blackberry and rose that are doing the heavy lifting, at least on my skin.
Certainly marketed for women with the floral/fruity dominance, I nevertheless regard it as unisex, especially for men like me that are fans of rose.
Its performance is great, well above average, and Femme, like Homme, is widely available on the secondary market, despite having scaled-up pricing from Homme (Guilty Oud’s pricing is higher still), and Femme can generally be found in the $50-$80 range for its standard 90ml size (the largest, unlike Homme, which comes in 150ml as well).
Definitely a recommended try for men and women alike, not to be blind bought but certainly to be backed up if loved as I love it.

This is a combination of a berry scratch-and-sniff sticker, a christmas tree, and a little bug spray. Though I can’t say I hate it – I’m still undecided. It does not smell like high-quality ingredients, it smells very synthetic – which is not necessarily bad. But not necessarily good either…

  12. :

    5 out of 5

Oooh, I really like this! I tested this only once and knew I had to buy it. This opens with tart blackberries followed by rose and cypress. The cypress gives it a Christmas vibe and I really enjoy that aspect of the fragrance. It’s a perfect wintertime chypre. Gucci has been hitting it out of the park in recent years. Bloom, Bamboo, and Guilty Absolute Pour Femme are all new favorites of mine.

  13. :

    5 out of 5

Didn’t expect much from it, but I was pleasantly surprised by this chypre berry scent!
The beginning is all about the non-sweet berry. The rose is very subtle here.
Amber, patchouli and cypress make a great mix for a drydown that’s not your typical “vanilla, tonka bean, musk, sandalwoold, whatever”- base.
The drydown also has a bit of a “mossy” side to my nose reminding me of oak moss (but maybe that’s just me).
So, if you like sweet and warm scents, this is not for you.
Also, this is not a scent for girls. This is a scent for women. It smells very grown up and makes me think of elegant and strong adult females who know who they are.
Btw. I don’t think this is similar to Lalique Amethyst at all. Amethyst stays super sour on my skin, has no interesting development, stays rather “flat” on me.

  14. :

    5 out of 5

On first spray, I smell berries, but the dry down is straight Christmas Tree. Slightly masculine even. Not a fan of this one.

  15. :

Today I tried this for the first time and I like it a lot. It has good sillage and longevity. It also made me think of another scent, but I couldn’t think of what it was. Then I saw amethyst by lalique between the reminds me of perfumes and then I knew it was tresor midnight rose it made me think of. Very lovely perfume in my opinion.

  16. :

    3 out of 5

This is an intoxicating blackberry dominated scent that smells of elegancy. The longevity is phenomenal. I picture someone who wears this scent is the kind of person to always be socializing at huge parties in an elegant dress. If this scent fell into a season, I’d say perhaps colder weather but it goes with almost any weather. It is safe for a blind buy, I’m really impressed with it.

I was on vacation in the Dominican Republic w/ my family. My sister wore this one evening … I smelled it on her the next morning at breakfast. I said “ sis omg I still smell that Gucci on you “. She was shocked that I could still smell it, to the point that I was impelled to comment. She couldn’t smell on herself but I could. It’s a beautiful fragrance!

  18. :

Together with Knot Absolue from BV, this is one of the best releases of the past 5 years. The longevity could be better, but it is a very special unique scent

  19. :

I only tried it once and i coudn’t resist the temptation to get back and spray more of it all over me.
The black berry note is the dominant one and it makes the perfume so addictive <3
but looking at the expensive price, i don’t think i’ll purchace this fragrance before i test its longevity and sillage even more.
Somehow it reminds me of the little black dress by Guerlain

I owned both Guilty and Guilty Intense in past. To be honest I kinda expected something more different, but this one carries too similar Guilty DNA to previous versions.
Still a nice and pleasant juice. I mean if you are into fruity yet still somehow provocative and daring (which I find hard to find such combination when it gets to fruit perfumes), think it’s a good choice.
I get very nice blackberry and as someone mentioned, it’s a bit tart, which I appreciate. I guess it could be because of lime too. There’s a lovely rose note which somehow softens the cypress and tartness of previously mentioned notes.
I would say fall to early spring suitable.
    To me 7/10

First put on the hands of potestit, horrified, expressed her opinion to the consultant – “what kind of cat smells this fragrance,” in general, it seemed disgusting, 10 minutes later he opened and I fell in love with him, bought the next day and wear it with pleasure, even I can not understand why it seemed to me terrible. His firmness with him, from morning till evening he is with me, others around him hear everything differently, one woman said – “you have spirits such? Herbace trees smell, pleasant” … I do not feel the fir-trees, the first notes are blackberry and then very gentle and pleasant aroma.

  22. :

There is a crispness, a bit of a sour touch (in a good way, not in a rotting fruit way) that makes it wearable even in the hot days of summer. Maybe it’s the blackberry – what I’m sensing is a bit of black currant actually. And it really reminds me of Louis Vuitton’s Matiere Noire. I’m loving it!
Edit: tarte is the word I was looking for! It has a tartness that compliments the heavy woodiness

  23. :

    Very nice ! I’m a man and I would wear this !
    Ingredients smell very natural.
This could be from “Juliette Has A Gun”.

I adore the authenticity of the blackberry note,it’s juicy, bitter,a little green and a little woody. Its a satisfying fragrance to wear and the colour of the bottle is beautiful, can you sense a but? Well you’d be right to, unfortunately I get terrible longevity from this.As of yet I have only wore this around the house and either this has really bad performance or my nose gets used to it super quick. Fingers crossed an outside wear may bring up different results!

This is the first Gucci Guilty fragrance that Ive ever smelled. I don’t usually fall in love with women’s fragrances but this one has stolen a brothas heart. Wow this is such a beautiful fragrance! From the opening to the dry down.; From facet to facet, I just LOVE it! I would so appreciate this scent on a woman. The fruitiness of the blackberry makes it’s mildly effervescent but there are other accords happening which gives it this deep and sultry vibe.
FYI: I read a comment which stated this came off very festive, like Christmas time! Initially, I did not get that but after hearing the comparison, I understand what the person’s nose was picking up BUT OVERALL, I have to disagree with the festive comparison… GGA Pour Femme is so much more than that. This is hands down beautifuL.

Intensive, beautiful, sweet and fresh and spicy and woody, all in a perfect composition, with a little bit of masculine twist in the dry-down, which I like. Many Alberto Morillas perfumes agree perfectly with my skin, so this one as well. I love it! It reminded me on Elle – Yves Saint Laurent. Many reviewers already described this scent perfectly, so nothing to add.

How could I not have fallen in love with spicy berries, fruit, woods and patchouli amber as a base?! I was trying this on at the store and my daughter came and smelled it on me and said “You smell like Christmas!” Well, that was a done deal for me then. Bottle bought right then and there.
The sillage is medium and the longevity is 4-5 hours on me. It feels sparkly and festive to me. A happy perfume.

After my slightly difficult time with the opening of pour homme, I decided to approach pour femme and I am glad that I did. The berry atop is quite opaque, not natural (otherwise it would hardly be identifiable) and ever so slightly jammy due to the rose I would imagine. The berry note is present throughout but becomes lighter and a bit more natural smelling in the mid and base, mixed with the woods and cypress.
The vibe is very similar to Opus X though they are not same. There’s a ‘ polish’ like undertone in between there somewhere which could be the combination of the dusty patchouli and blackberry cordial/concentrate. It reminds me of the varnish note effect in Opus X. I personally love it because it gives this fragrance a slight gloomy feeling in the mid and relieves it of it’s opacity due to the berry concentrate.
There’s something ‘green’ and ‘crisp’ in the later stages and it somehow smells more natural in the dry down as a whole. The composition is very solid and doesn’t fall apart or smell unstable at any time. I am very impressed and excited because I have not experienced this in mainstream perfumery in such a long time!!
The pour femme is the perfect counterpart to pour homme. These are sombre juices and might be a bit too advanced for people who have just started out on their fragrance journeys and may be of particular appeal to a more mature audience. I personally love it and am looking for a back up bottle already because I fear this line isn’t getting enough love and could face sudden extinction without even taking off properly.
The new Gucci Guilty Absolute line is like a saviour when I have abandoned all hope for perfume to satisfy my urges and curiosities. I have sold most of my stuff and hold onto very little which also makes me very sad. My inclination has mainly been niche but then Gucci Guilty Absolute has come to change all of that. Who needs niche and ‘private lines’ when we can have these gorgeous fragrances from Gucci. I am also glad that after a long time I am actually happy to buy something from the mainstream market. Thank you Alberto Morillas!

5 minutes after sparying its a butifull lichi fruit…then after 2 hours it is a soapy gradnma but for some reason i liked it very much and i still think i want it
And it is unisex mor female but still unisex…….i need to test it more..

It’s a little bit heavy to wear, you have to pay attention and spray just a little bit. I think it’s a good scent though.

  32. :

I think you have to have a certain kind of personality for this frag. It is heavy, a tad masculine, loud patchouli. I’ll pass.

At first try I felt Guilty Absolute pour Femme is a disappointing fruity fragrance. “Another tart blackberry for women” I thought.
but wait for the dry down, people.
    It evolved to something unique.
IMO, This one contains quality and vibe of Gucci Guilty Absolute for men which is adore by most perfume lover, but I find GGA for men too strong and mind me, dull. Like being hit in the face with timber. Then, cover the corpse with a leather jacket and gasoline.
On the other hand, Guilty Absolute pour Femme is a good combination of sweetness and fresh while woody vibe from GGA for men in here push this perfume to unisex, classy and mysterious side. It is like a plot twist added version of GGA for men in my mind.

This is not a safe blind buy. Don’t make the mistake that I did. I tried this, but don’t care for it at all. Returned it right away. Shrieky berries atop a masculine smelling woody fragrance. Had no redeeming qualities except the bottle, imo. To my nose, it’s a less well done Mon Paris. I actually like Mon Paris, though.

Was not sure how this one would smell. It had been on my want list, and when I spotted a rollerball version on the Macy’s website, I figured why not..so it was click, bam!, it’s here..!
I do like this, this puts me in mind of a cooler weather fragrance. Sort of along the lines of CK Euphoria, or one of the CD Poison’s or a Mugler fragrance (I can’t remember which Poison or Mugler right now though, brain fog!!) So, it is not earth-shattering unique scent (and clearly not dupes of any of those, more along the lines of “if you like that, you might like this” situation). Has a slight sexy vibe to it, I could see this as almost leaning a little unisex or perhaps even masculine to some noses. Definitely not an overly frilly girly perfume nor an overload candy bomb. I only wish I had gotten this in the cooler months. I think this will be perfect for November, December, January. Heading into the middle of Spring and into Summer, I can’t see me wearing this often, perhaps on a date night in the Summer.
I do agree with the review beneath mine, saying this smells like spicy blackberry juice, and I also agree with Tiwalii’s review, that this is “On my skin it smells like raspberry hard candy, black currant jam, a walk through the woods and dark, leathery patchouli softened by a hint of vanilla”. A couple other reviews mention this smelling like a boozy fruit juice, and I can see that, as well.
Not anything special or particularly unique, it definitely reminds me of a few fragrances from my past (hence, I agree with a couple reviews saying this smells like a fragrance from the 80’s or 90’s)…But this is nice enough and I will enjoy my rollerball version of this, especially when the colder months are back!!! Kind of a safe, crowd-pleasing fragrance. But I think those with large fragrance collections or those who have been in the fragrance ‘world’ for years or even decades, will likely be bored with this. Nice enough..just nothing unique.
UPDATE: As this dries further down, this unfortunately becomes very synthetic and cloying and borderline headache-inducing to me. That is how fragrance works, can’t win them all, all the time!!….But I do see this as being fairly ‘safe’ for the masses. Having said that (and after all, CD Poison and CK Euphoria both were and remain very popular, and those are often ‘too much’ for my nose), I don’t think this is office-friendly. As always, YMMV. Have a great day! 🙂

Spicy blackcurrant juice. Very strong with excellent silage. Gorgeous worn on a cold, frosty day like a boozy Christmas cocktail. I get hints of coco Noir in the dry down as well.

LIKE THIS !! Got it today.
It smells like Eon’s Bond 007 for women. Not a “dupe/clone” but close enough to my nose and IMO.
First spritz,I thought…NO…then it relaxed and “did it’s thing” on my skin..and voila…a big LIKE for me so far. Must be tested on skin for sure.
I am not “into” the bottle design…nothing special here. I also tried the men’s version, which is really nice too.

In the cold weather, this smelled of a lot of wood, cypress, pepper and patchouli, with something flowery beneath. Bitter and strong – really wonderful and very longlasting! Now, in the 25 degrees, it smells exactly like Amethyst by Lalique: nothing else but blackberries and berries. I’m wearing one on each wrist, and the resemblance is stunning. Both are Horrible… Either that, or i’m getting anosmic to some scents….
To cover it, i sprayed its male Gucci Guilty Absolute, all leather and woods, and together they are wonderful!!!

I love everything about this fragrance, right down to the bottle. I have picked the bottle up several times at Nordstrom, gave it a quick sniff, and set it back down. A wonderful SA told me to try it because it has sold like crazy and they were having to reorder. First spray and I was hooked!! I pick up blackberry, rose and pine. It dries down to a unisex scent, but I get whiffs throughout the day and it is such a sexy, unique scent. I can’t figure out why it is a flanker for the Gucci Guilty line because this is SO much better and so less mainstream. It deserves a name of it’s own. I am truly smitten and am looking so forward to my bottle arriving today!!

At first it smells like its own perfume but with an undertone of some kind of armani lei^she dna but then it quicky drys down to smelling ecactly like elie saab. Which i already own so didnt buy it. Nice perfume but way too much like elie saab

I absolutely love the original Guilty and it is one of my favourites. As others have noted, Guilty Absolute is a totally different fragrance.
I liked it upon the first spray – it smelled very promising: fruity, woody and complex. But the drydown was not for me, unfortunately. After it settled, it turned very woody (which normally is not a bad thing for me), aromatic and cool. It got this very distinct cold vibe. A little powdery as well. Instead of becoming “my” scent, it became “alien”, if that makes sence. It didnt smell unpleasant in any way, but it was so cold i couldn’t wait for it to wear off so i could put smth more warm and comforting on.
Though i can imagine someone totally loving it. I do think it pairs well with the male version

I don’t know how anyone can NOT like this.I tried it at Dillards, on the blotter, and immediately fell in love. Came home, went on eBay, lost 4 auctions, then got extremely angry and just bought it for a higher price, because i had to have it.
On the day i got it, i let the bottle sit and rest from the shipping ( i do this with all my perfumes, as i found shipping really affects the performance, and therefore the first impressions). I took second shower that day, to wash all the Mugler off of me, and sprayed this. I started giggling like a little girl in a cupcake shop!
There is something strangely familiar in Absolute to me, maybe not the berries so much, it could be cypress, but i can’t be sure. When it settles on the skin, it goes powdery, and sweet, and warm, and all kind of ways…i am just lost for words. It’s sultry and sexy, and seductive, and i could honestly fall in love with myself. My husband says that “this is how a woman is supposed to smell like”.
I found Absolute pour Femme to be a perfect compliment to a male version of Guilty Absolute, so now we can enjoy them together, without overpowering each other. For those who wonder, male version is absolutely stunning, niche quality, and affordable. I am impressed with this dynamic duo from Gucci.

Love the berry smell and think could pass as unisex frag imo.

I love the original and don’t like this one. There’s nothing similar about them, don’t know why they named it Guilty.
It is woody, reminds me of oud. NO berries, rose or pink pepper.
    So nothing I would like.
    Definitely won’t try it again.

Loved the sniff in the bottle, some spice which I love. I sprayed on me and it turned. About 20 minutes later, I smelled Sen-Sen cool minty licorice breath mint. It’s odd that a spice could smell cool instead of warm. I read the reviews just now but no hint of berry here. Just smells rather potently chemical. If you’ve ever had a perm and they drizzle a chemical on your rollers, you have smelled Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Femme. (PS if you have ever smelled a cold shot of vodka, where it has a peppery alcohol scent, that is also the cool spice I smelled.) Sorry this didn’t work out. I loved the sniff of spice in the air before I put it on me.

I actually quite like this one. Lightly sweet and floral. Very easy to wear as a daytime fragrance and the bottle is simplistic in design but also sophisticated. Would recommend it.

I’ve read all the mediocre reviews on this so I had zero expectations when I tried this. Im happy to say I really like this. This is brisk, fresh-floral with a fruity zing that strikes the perfect balance between bitter and sweet. The bitter/sour note in this is what sets this apart and makes this unisex IMO. It smells like a tempting cocktail or a sweet fruity dark red wine. As a guy I sprayed this liberally on and didn’t for one minute feel it was too flowery or feminine for me. . Worth a try for sure. Big thumbs up here for this one.

When I tell you this perfume radiates! I tell you it has such projection, I spent a good hour yesterday pure bliss, just spraying and testing perfumes.
And this is one that smelt great on paper and even better on skin.
This is simply beautiful but you have to be a perfume connoisseur to appreciate it, as you can either love the intensity or hate it!
Bergamot and Blackberry is so intense, pure bliss you can smell over and over again, do not blind buy as it’s either one of these (love or hate) perfumes.
But too me I can appreciate the intensity and the well developed perfume, beautiful!!

I haven’t tried this perfume yet so this is not properly a review. But I have something to say about the bottle: UGLY! Why put such a great perfume in such an ugly, cheap-looking bottle? Where’s your design team, Gucci? It looks like a tester!

I am so grateful, I have been looking for sth to kick me off my feet, and therefore, as a sacrifice, I decided to gift away my favorite angels and demons tender… and today I stumble upon this one… you know, you are just leaving winter and the first signs of sun and chill are starting to show, as of tomorrow this is mine. Thank you, perfume gods of Earth

This one is a true beauty. A strong woody note softened by a blend of fresh florals. Reminds me of an early Springtime walk in the woods where the flowers are just awakening. A sense of fresh green meadows just beyond. Excellent longevity. Lasted all day without a touch-up.

It matches the male counterpart and fits into Gucci’s esthetics…I find it a tad bit too dull though. Understated berries with some sombre cypress & woodsy notes. It smells decadent and suitable for a rainy day.

Boozy-ish berry and patchouli. Smells nice enough. Unisex. Reminds me very much of DKNY Be Delicious Night. Compared to most of Gucci’s lineup this is good.

I agree with others that it does smell like some fragrances of the past. It has that familiar feeling but it’s also reminiscent of the more recent one, Armani Si. I get the same blackcurrant-patch combo. It’s more woody though, the kind of green woodiness I smell in pine. It brings memories of Christmas. I was hoping for more rose and berries but it’s very soft on me.
All in all, nothing new here but rather pleasant, kind of nostalgic scent for me.

So is this what berries are like in the mid notes??…
First spray I felt was earthy and perhaps unisex, then it went sweet fruit tarty not unlike Si, and I thought “oh I’ve got enough scents like this”, this went away and I must be in the drydiwn phase, I get a wonderful muted rounded berry.
I agree with the accords listed although I can’t pick out each smell.
The wood, aromatics are balancing out the fruits and sweetness and make this muted, eraser like, calm, deep.

I do agree with Epicurean that Guilty Absolute has an eighties vibe, it is like boozy raspberries, plus a hefty dose of musky rose..it gives it an earthy vibe that isn’t my type….it stays pretty much the same, pretty linear scent..it has a bit of a unisex vibe too..I don’t know, I don’t think it is bad,if you like musky rose scents, it is definitely an option.. just not my taste!?..I don’t think it is one for me..
it reminds me of Givenchy Live intense, which was a musky rose scent, better constructed I believe.
very much a Morillas creation, kind of nice, but never outstanding.

Unfortunately Guilty Absolute did not impress me as the original Guilty, which I really love and have been wearing, and definitely not as much as Bloom, which I enjoy wearing a lot. But I guess the flanker has its appeal as well. It has the heart of a fruity grapey rose, very mainstream right now (Miss Dior 2017, Rose Extase, Si Rose Signature), backed up by woodsy notes. It is sweet, like jelly candies with a mentholic top note and thin in texture, not heavy at all, making it appropriate for spring and summer. If Tresor Midnight Rose, another juicy woodsy sweet rose, is too heavy for you, then Guilty Absolute is the proper alternative. Creates a bubble around you and stays on for a good six hours.
It’s a nice scent, nothing more nothing less.

Gosh my first thought was an over sweet tropical fruit drink. I would never have guessed there was blackberry present until after at least an hour. Once that jammy sweetness eases off then I can see why people see the similarity with a certain vagabond Prince scent that I own. I prefer my VP to be honest.
The patch and cypress finally start to surface. You get the rose and Amber as a backdrop. You now start to get some fresh blackberry coming through. I admit I really like this stage but am I willing to wait and wade through all the sweetness to arrive in an autumn woodland glade?
This is definitely a cool weather only scent. Average sillage and longevity.

This smells straight up like the 1980s version of blackcurrant Tunes cough sweets.
If you don’t have that olfactory memory, I can see how this perfume would be popular, given the fashion for fruity, sweet scents with a woody base. But this medicated cocktail won’t help me breathe more easily, as the Tunes advert went.

I just bought this from my local department store and I love it! It’s unique and captivating in a semi-niche way that totally differentiate it from the other mainstream releases. It’s evocative and beautiful and mysterious, and reminds me of something hidden in my childhood memories… summer forests, warm, juicy blackberries straight from the bushes, the smell of dry pine needles… and that sense of utter freedom… I find it to be truly magical, with a dreamy, mesmerizing quality to it and I really can’t understand the low score… For me is one of the best new releases and a true masterpiece in its own way.

Not a fan of the original gucci guilty- found it boring and bland. Tested this the other day and I really enjoy it. It’s deep fruity sweet and woody. Very mature smelling, sultry and sensuous. I really like this scent, I would wear it for evening only, not during the day. It is a sexy night time scent, suitable for all year round. The only negative is the price £95 for a large bottle really is up there, and as nice as it is, it doesn’t last longer than 2 hours on my skin
