After two excellent perfume collection by Officina delle Essenze created and launched by talented perfumer Maurizio Lembo, at the end of 2013 brand new line of perfumes was introduced – Bottega Profumiera which encompasses 6 fragrances. In my conversation with Maurizio I found out that he worked for a long time on this collection, even at the time of launch of previous collections, because he wanted to single it out in particular way and to make sure that all compositions will convey ideas and feelings he has been cherishing for years.
The aim was to create fragrances that convey particular feelings, thoughts, images and parts from his life and embody them perfectly in the new compositions in which we can feel the unique signature of the creator.
Known for a collection of room fragrances and extraordinary collections which are available as pure perfume Puro (collection of 5 fragrances) and I Caldi (collection of 3 fragrances dedicated to wood) Maurizio offers new emotions poured into truly top quality perfumes. The new collection by Bottega Profumiera provides compositions for everyone’s taste. They are delicate, emotional and special. Names of the fragrances of the new collection are as follows: Shardana, Rose Poudre, Galantuomo, Mon Jardin, Polianthes and Gourmand and Maurizio’s story of each fragrance separately awakes the wish to test them and explore the compositions.
Mon Jardin is fragrance dedicated to beautiful place near Rome – The Gardens of Ninfa. After the centenary of destruction, malaria and wetlands, the Gardens of Ninfa were restored in old glory and splendor in the 20th century. This is one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in the world and a key to success lies in its specific geographical location. The entire territory of the garden is a natural green that allows many plants to grow and develop even three times more than in ordinary conditions. The plants in this garden and reach three times the size compared to other places in the world. Light drizzle falling almost every afternoon, creates perfect conditions around the Ninfa, unique in the world.
Maurizio described the fragrant gardens with notes of tangerine, bergamot, neroli, orange blossom, jasmine, fig leaves, iris, musk and sandalwood. Mon Jardin is a slightly aquatic fragrance, refreshing and with elegant floral, relaxing notes, which distinctly speak about the unbreakable bond between water and life.

Mon Gardin – because of this beautiful name i tried a blind buy here. It’s more a green than a floral scent, more kitchen garden than flower garden. It’s smells in the drydown strongly like lovage which is not listed. Unisex – suits both genders.
Simple grey but beautiful packaging with extra purse bottle to be filled by the consumer.

Very beautiful, creamy from the fig, which to me smells a bit more than just leaves, flitting about within a slightly green context. Warm, slightly powdery Iris, and milky soft sandalwood create a comforting base combined with a very mild musk. This sneaks to me of a comfort scent, high quality, and tasteful. The Jasmine never goes wild, nor the citrus was too bright, all of the players here are well mannered and well balanced. It really is a wonderful scent for a gloomy day, or blushing spring!

I like this. Very nice smell. Well blended but too light really. I get citrus and creamy jasmine topped by orange blossom. A woody note in the dry down.

I got samples of the entire Bottega Profumiera line and I’m in love with Mon Jardin and Galantuomo!
Does anyone know where this perfume line can be purchased in Europe? I cannot find any information… 🙁
