So part of my original interest in these perfumes (the gold editions in the series) came from the bottles. The bottles are crafted from ceramic, and the details are stated to be hand painted, the finer details rendered in gold. The bottles really are beautiful and juice aside will make lovely pieces on my dresser. I do love decorative perfume bottles!
The fragrance itself is lovely, a gorgeous chypre floral, it opens fairly heavily with bright, zesty, citruses that yield rather quickly to the heart notes which are the dominant notes here. A creamy jasmin, balanced with a clean, crisp but heady narcissus, its a pure clean, bright floral thats fairly linear. Super soft patchouli in the base, amber is also listed on the company site as a basenote, though its not listed here. The base is really barely noticeable, supporting accords only, the heartnotes dominate this fragrance almost from the start. Sillage is low, though longevity is outstanding, and as I’ve worn this I continue to get interchanging wafts of narcissus and jasmin that have not faded throughout the duration. Its a really lovely floral.
Pricepoint may be contentious for some, at $99AU for 35ml it puts these up there with niche pricing. I had actually been searching for these for quite some time, the arrival of online company SCPerfume has made these far more accessible for a anyone interested.
