Description

Dior is introducing a new and charming girl, Miss Dior Cherie. Face of the perfume is Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s oldest granddaughter, and the bottle resembles the one of Miss Dior of 1947. This fragrance, although it features the same basic components like its famous predecessor, is not at all a remake of Miss Dior. Sweet and gourmand notes of pop corns in the heart, so unusual, make this perfume appealing to youngsters. Miss Dior Cherie is young and romantic, she possesses good taste and style, she looks smart, but youth is youth, and this young lady looks pretty with a pop corn bag in hands. The top notes are wild strawberry leaves and green tangerine. The heart features caramel pop corns surrounded by violets, wild strawberry, so strong and seductive and pink jasmine. The base is created of fresh patchouli leaves and crystalline musk.

Miss Dior Cherie was launched in 2005. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel.

I weep for never getting the chance to try this one. The idea of toning down the sweet gourmand with popcorn note sounds ingenious. Plus, a strawberry note? Why in the world do so few perfumes have a strawberry note? It’s probably the most beautiful fruit scent in the world.
I’d totally risk a blind buy with this one. If you have any advice on how to get my hands on this discontinued version, please do let me know! 🙂

Many women are mourning the discontinuation of the popcorn version. Eden perfumes Brighton (out of the UK) makes a vegan version of the original that smells absolutely beautiful!

Fizzy strawberries in champagne slowly turning into caramel popcorn and sweet, warm caresses of patchouli. A modern sparkling fruity chypre as they called it, even though the drydown has much more musk and amber than whatever fougères there was supposed to be. Lasting power is way over 8h, this is a scent that started me off on my gourmand journey. Christine Nagel remains my favorite artist thanks to this baby right here. Years of love and care later, I still luckily have 75% of my original bottle. If I have some left in it when I die, I’d like to be cremated with it. True, sickly, love.

I bought it back in 2005, Loved it in the bottle but not on me, this one gaves me the worst migraine ever but its final notes are ok, Guess it is the mixture of pineapple, popcorn and strawberries… tried absolutely blooming and fell in love!!!!

I would give my left pinky toe for this version to come back on the market. It was the very first perfume I ever bought, and I can’t get over my good taste back then 😀 the perfect mix of fruity and sweet, without either of the two tones being overpowering. It was young, elegant, fresh and a little flirty. I miss this scent!
I went through my collection and am lucky enough to have gathered some tiny collector’s edition bottles from the airport, I will treasure those. They are a joy to look at almost just as much as they are to smell.

One of my favourite scents — Miss Dior Cherie, 2005 version.
    Top Notes: Green Mandarin
Middle Notes: Caramel Popcorn and Wild Strawberry Sorbet
Base Notes: Fresh Patchoulli and Crystalline Musks
This is a well crafted masterpiece. Everything about this is perfect. From the girly, classy and gorgeous bottle with the well crafted silver bow to the delicate shiny cursive etching.
She is beautiful and charming and mischievous, as it opens with a whimsical daydream of strawberries and cherries, the juicy aroma of citrus and pineapples, radiating sweetness and a bubbly character. As if the taste of sweetness isn’t enough, you immediately get to the best part, the rich gourmand blend of buttery caramel popcorn delight. Oh so divine, this is where you’ll crave for this mouthwatering goodness. Splendidly breathtaking. Absolutely lovely.
As it continues to linger your neurons are firing impulses to your limbic system triggering emotions and memories reaching to an olfactory overdrive. At this point you’ve already reached your orgasm with your eyes rolling upward in true orgasmic bliss.
The patchoulli and musk is the perfect note to catch your breath on the dry down, bringing you back to Earth from the Heavens as you emit that after bliss glow. It’s addictive and you’ll surely crave for more.
It has the perfect blend of being fun, girly and innocent yet flirty and sexy. But still being overall sophisticated and classy as each notes are complex with the added depth. Beautifully blended as it lingers on. Magic and love in a bottle.

As mentioned before I found an unsealed 1.7oz bottle of miss dior Cherie produced in November,2005,for a bargain and immediately bought it.back then I found it pretty, still I was disappointed maybe because I was looking for a very dominant caramel and popcorn but I couldn’t detect them At all;or maybe because so many raving reviews grew up my expectations to a level that I was waiting for something beyond any other perfume.back then I preferred miss dior absolutely blooming a ten times to this one
Now I still love MDAB but I also love miss dior cherie.now I can understand all positive reviews.yes it’s not a foody gourmand.still it’s deliciously sweet with a touch of fruitytartness that I find it month-watering.strawberry is the first dominant note my skin and I’m happy to have a strawberry perfume that doesn’t spray like cheap child strawberry body mists;on the contrary it’s classy, feminine and smells expensive.second strong note is cherry for me and I’m excited to see it without being followed by almond or licorice(though I like that type too).now I can also feel caramel’s syrupy sweetness,a hint of something unique which I interpret it as popcorn,a subtle,non-disturbing patchouli and delicate clean florals, which reads to me as a light musky-rose-Jasmine
I’m glad to see it’s delicious notes never completely faind away.I can smell syrupy sweet strawberry strongly for hours while patchouli and that light touch of clean floral powder are mingling through, balancing it and adding it whatever makes this girly, youthful, happy, delightful, playful and lively scent, also a classy, feminine, romantic, smart perfume that it is.longevity and sillage are real good and it’s a truely lovely fragrance
Trying to understand who is in charge in Dior for reformulating and discontinuing a lot of it’s amazing and popular juices(miss dior cherie, midnight poison, hypnotic poison sensuel, tender poison,Dior addict, homme intense and recently less amazing miss dior edp)is an impossible effort for me.
If you’re looking for a somehow similar perfume I also suggest trying Yves saint Laurent Mon Paris.don’t expect an exact dupe for miss dior cherie because it’s not.but there are some obvious similarities.mon Paris is more floral and fresh IMO and lacks some gourmand facets of MDC.but they share sweet fruity, strawberry opening.subtle patchouli and clean florals

i cautiously unwrap cherie from its confinement and sniff the spray nozzle and its not positive. so i gotta test it out being a blind buy i should know better..
upon first spray i start sneezing continuously, violently about a dozen or so times to the point where i started to feel nauseous so it had to come off but of course they never come fully off.
anyway, miss dior cherie is a very common, (cloying to me) scent. dozens of women wear this everyday and float past and now i recognise their forever faithfuls. smells somewhat like an old ladies fragrance.
its a big no for me. not a safe blind buy.

If you really WANT THIS ONE its hard to get so i have a best advice for you. I already bought alternative version to this fragrance by J Fenzi – Miss Jill Fenzi. Its the same scent with same notes. It smells with popcorn and strawberry i love it. You can buy it actually on ebay and price is really funny about 15 USD. Justr try it and you will see. highly recommend i have lot of alternatives from J Fenzi and they are very good at copying fragrances its not just a alcohol water but it lasts long and smells exactly the same. Try it and then let me know if it i was right 🙂

This version of Miss Dior Cherie must be one of the most grieved discontinuations here on Fragrantica, and now that I’ve finally tested it for myself, I have to say I believe the hype! Luckily, I personally don’t love it quite so much that I can’t live without it and have to start hunting for a bottle, but I can easily understand why someone would; it’s a very good candidate for a signature.
For one thing, it’s pretty light and inoffensive, the kind of perfume that will fit any mood and time of year without ever becoming either overwhelming or boring.
For another, it really smells gorgeous. The strawberry note that dominates the opening is to die for, and that’s a hard one to get right. Later on it’s joined by the popcorn and caramel, and that combination is delicious as well. And although it doesn’t sound especially sophisticated, there’s nothing juvenile about it either. It’s just really well done, very balanced. Lasts all day, too, although I do need four or five sprays instead of my usual two or three for this to fully come into its own.
So like many others before me, I have to wonder why this was ever discontinued. If it wasn’t, I’m sure there’d be a full bottle of it somewhere in my future. As it is, I’ll treasure what’s left of my decant before saying goodbye to this little gem of a scent.

Now that I’ve successfully acquired my 3 bottles I can comfortably make this review without fear of a reader becoming so curious and persuaded that they went and bought all the bottles I had my eye on from eBay LMAO. Call it what you want but this discontinued-perfume-hunt-game is real lmao. Bc once it’s gone, it’s GONE! Now all that remains on eBay are $200 listings and I’ll be damned! Lol.
Anywho, lol, this is my number 1, my holy grail, 90 years old in the nursing home and all I want is this, my FAVORITE PERFUME OF LIFE! Where do I start with this? It’s such a perfect scent for me. It’s strong, but pleasantly strong. I mostly smell strawberry and pineapple at the top, and then popcornnnn, and caramellllll! It’s so intoxicating! I can’t stop sniffing and smelling it. The sillage and longevity are really good. My 22 year old niece kept smelling me and wouldn’t stop lol. She detected the popcorn but couldn’t name it. Then finally she came running back to me yelling, “I SMELL THE POPCORN!” Lol. This scent is also very elegant. I just…can’t put into words how marvelous and magical this perfume is! MDC (2005) is the bees knees. I pray I never run out! BUT if I do, luckily I have a bottle of Elode Bliss which smells ALMOST identical but MDC is more of a smoother smell and not as tart.
    This perfume is:
1,000,000/1,000,000 (Yes that’s one million out of one million lmao)
    BOMB
    AMAZING
    INTOXICATING
    ADDICTING
    AROUSING
and a damn aphrodisiac for me.
I’ll stop now before I write an essay. But this is amazing. I’m not gonna lie…o actually WOULD pay $200 for this. It’s worth it.
    Oh, P. S.
I don’t get any references to this. Not the COCO Mademoiselle, not anything. This thing here stands ALONE, in a lane all by herself. The Alpha Omega. The Queen Supreme. Any comparisons at this point are just merely, cute.

I now have my 2005 bottle of Miss Dior Cherie and am wearing it today. I am torn. It does smell as described…but there’s something missing. I think I actually like my mixture of Coco with Poison Girl better. MDC smells like buttery popcorn, but my Coco/PG alchemy smells like caramel popcorn. Much better. There’s also that dang Coco Mademoiselle thing to contend with. I used to LOVE to smell CM on others, but by the time I dropped coin on a bottle I couldn’t stand it on myself. This MDC 2005 reminds me of CM, which shouldn’t be a bad thing since I did love it once, but there was just something in CM that was added that was too, too much. Another frag that smells super similar to both of these is Camelia by L’Erbolario. I actually smelled it on someone else and begged her to tell me what it was and I ordered a bottle straight away. But there went that Coco Mademoiselle smell again once I put it on. Seriously, what is wrong with me? Why do I love/hate so much??? I think I am going to add Poison Girl on top of the MDC to see if it turns more caramel on me. Maybe that will solve it??? To be continued…
EDIT: I have two bottles of this now, one EDP from 2005 (batch code 5801) and another from April 2009 (batch code 9R02). At first when I got the second one I thought I might be getting a 2011 version based on the packaging, but it smells exactly like the 2005. So be aware that the bottle/label/box of MDC changed to the more modern version before the juice inside did!

Just absolutely beautiful hands down I would say probably one of the best women’s fragrances. Miss Cherie is a Chicago downtown girl who whisps past you smelling like soft raspberries, makeup compacts and lipsticks. I can’t explain I just remember this filling the air downtown Chicago in 2005. Regular Miss Dior just doesn’t do it for me I gotta have my Cherie. The only perfume I came across that has similar vibes is YSL Mon Paris but not the same but same vibe

  14. :

Miss Dior Cherie is extremely lovely and unusual. The popcorn note is definitely there, lending a salty/buttery tone to the bubbly/sweet backdrop. Cherries and strawberries float in the mix giving it a sweet home-grown vibe. Visions of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor with swivel stools. Comforting and nostalgic. The essence of summer ending, drive-ins closing, and warm days turning into autumn.

I FINALLY TESTED IT! I’m wearing it now actually, and it’s (by no surprise) amazing.
Wonderfully crafted and just the right balance of sweetness and sophistication.
The popcorn and strawberry are such unique and playful notes. The caramel is there ,but it’s not really edible…no doubt a bit gourmand-ish, but definitely a chypre. A well blended perfume with notes that dance together in harmony. The patchouli is earthy and smooth. The rose is delicate. (I don’t smell cherry or pineapple, it’s more floral than fruity to my nose.) The mandarin is fresh.
This is truly the Miss Dior- stunningly sophisticated and seductively sweet.
It smells a bit like the 2011 version, (my first perfume love) but more youthful and sweet. It’s a classic of our time. God only knows why they reformulated it a million times.
Dang it, Dior, BRING THIS BACK.

This is the first gift my boyfriend gave me when we started dating. This fragrance is one of my favorite. It is a sweet, young and very classy scent.

  18. :

On miss Dior Cherie I only feel a salty popcorn smell that lasts for 8 hours or more with heavy sillage and that is so offputting that I can’t even see salty popcorn now. No caramel, no patch only salty popcorn for a long time, no matter which version I try. This is evidence there should be no blind buys, on paper I should love Miss Dior Cherie.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

My relationship with Miss Dior Cherie has been so bizarre. But I guess it’s only telling there is no other like it!
This was a successful blind buy though I was disappointed at first; back then it smelled like Miss Dior (2012) to me, got disappointed and set it aside.
Later I gave it another try- and fell in love. I got the impression of gourmand but chic perfume many have already described so aptly here.
However at some point, after wearing it a lot, I started to detect a strange nuance in between all the beauty. Beer! It was really off-putting and disgusting; I started to think it has gone bad (due to age) and stopped wearing it again.
I was utterly disappointed with it. I tried to sell it and swap it several times, but it sat stubbornly on my shelve- like saying I’m here to stay, I’m not going anywhere.
I don’t know what the strange beer smell was but as time went on, I gave it another chance ( I stopped counting how many chances I gave to it..) and it was this autumn. The beauty was back in it’s glory; maybe it was due to temperature, season, I don’t know.
After these years I appreciate Miss Dior Cherie for being very unique, lovely and versatile scent; it’s youthful but it has the classy, grown-up side and this altogether makes it ageless. I love the mix of gourmand and classic lady-like perfume notes!

I describe this one as ‘Strawberry caramel popcorn’ with the slightly vibe of Miss Dior original from 1947.
I can smell strong juicy strawberry mix with popcorn at first then it dries down to sweet caramel with some floral. Really good blend.
It also has great longevity and sillage. It makes me feel so good all day just by smelling myself.

I recently obtained a mini .17 ounce blind bought online. I wasn’t prepared for this masterpiece of a scent. I had this scent on my want list for a long time, for about 6 years.
It opens up with sweet and tart because of the strawberry and fruit. It dries down to a sharp, sophisticated, classy scent. I will definitely need to find a larger bottle of this beauty. This is one of the best scents I have came across in a long time.
    Warm, inviting, intoxicating, addicting.
    Good job Dior 10/10

Such a beautiful perfume that I swear I have smelled before. Anyway it took me forever to buy a bottle of this and now that I have it I rarely ever wear it, I guess I don’t want to waste it! It has the same vibe as The 2012 Miss Dior but the notes make it a different experience. The patchouli keeps it interesting and mature and the strawberry keeps it fresh and young. I hate to say this but this fragrance has an expensive feel to it.
I typically don’t like saying that because it is such a vague word to use for fragrances but I am at a loss of word on how to describe it…

Oh how I miss you miss dior cherie! I’m a 26 year old female and this takes me back to my late teens. I’m sticking to the 2012 miss dior now (the reformulation), but I really do miss this sweeter fragrance. I’m hoping the 2017 reformulation (coming out in September 2017) will be a little closer to cherie. I’ve recently purchased chanel madamoiselle which I use interchangeably for a little bit of sweetness.

My all time classic. Been using it for years, repurchasing every time it finishes.
Beautiful, soft, tender and just so feminine. For me ultimate womanity and sexuality, in a gentle and beautiful way, not loud or aggressive.
Sweet and soft, warm and inviting. I have no right words to describe this beauty.

This perfume caused me the most wonderful, sharp burst of memory and emotion. The minute the scent hit my nose I recalled, vaguely, a dear friend I once had. I realized that she must have worn this scent, and I never knew til this moment. It was like a secret had been unlocked.
With that delightful opening aside, the cherry / violet combo began to cause a cloying cloud around me– to me, it smelled “cold.” And perhaps a tad medicinal. Miss Cherie is put-together, feminine, even playful, but she is not inviting, warm, or sensual. She is Blair Waldorf, not Serena Van der Woodsen.
Thankfully, the drydown became more fresh and citrusy, with less of that patchouli blast of the beginning.
I haven’t decided if I truly love it or if I am simply fascinated by it, but there’s no doubt this perfume is extremely special.

  28. :

Firstly, I will agree with the reviewer below who compared this with Mon Paris because it reminded me of Miss Dior Cherie so much that I just acquired a new bottle on eBay, so looking forward to wearing it again after all these years. Give Mon Paris by YSL a try if you can’t get a hold of MDC, or else La Perla Ruby Perlage if it is still available somewhere.

Oh my, this is SO tart on me, and yet I’m kind of obsessed. In fact, it’s so tart that it almost makes me mouth water, but it falls just short of being uncomfortable. The sweet qualities mellow it out enough that it remains pleasant to my nose.
I tend to have a lot of issues with jasmine (I’m finding,) however the jasmine in this doesn’t give me a headache unless I sniff way, way too deeply. The regular sillage/trail it produces is perfectly lovely and doesn’t cause me any problems.
I think for me personally, I mostly smell fruit (citrus? Pineapple? Cherry? Definitely the strawberry,) with a little silky sweetness and just a bit of patchouli to ground it, but not enough to immediately recognize it as patchouli. I’ve been searching and searching for the fabled buttered popcorn note, but I personally haven’t been able to find it. It’s a shame, because that was the note that I was most intrigued by, but I still enjoy it for what it is.
On me it also seems to be quite long lasting. I ACTUALLY kept smelling it for hours after I applied it, which is basically unheard of for me. It’s an incredibly persistent perfume, and the two sprays I applied were almost too much. Spray responsibly! In my opinion, it’s intense enough to make those around you completely miserable if over applied. That tart strawberry note could be weaponized if misused.
Overall I’ll probably stick to my deeper, incense/amber based offerings, but for me this was a fantastic addition to my wardrobe when I just want something sweet and flirty. Bright and fresh without being too flat or boring, and with great lasting power. Definitely a dark wash skinny jeans, cute top, and colorful pumps sort of perfume. And there do come days where I want to venture out in something other than my combat boots!

I recently got a sample of YSL Mon Paris and was pleased with the scent because it comes very close to Dior’s Cherie. I have been looking high and low for a dupe and this has come closest. Anyone else think they are similar?

  31. :

    3 out of 5

Very youthful, happy, fruity and innofensive scent. To my nose, it’s more of a fruity scent than floral. It’s a bit sweet because of the caramel but more fruity. I feel the strawberry, cherry and pineapple. I can’t detect the patchouli and popcorn. Very nice and unique scent for daytime and work all year round especially for spring time.Just a pity that it has been discontinued. Dior, we want it back!

  32. :

    4 out of 5

I just bought a bottle of this and I cant smell much of a difference from the current Miss Dior. I know it is original so maybe the perfume has changed after so many years?

  33. :

    5 out of 5

WHY is this discontinued? It’s absolutely ridiculous to me that something so beloved by so many people would be swapped out for a less nuanced and less loved version. Was there an ingredient that is now banned or something?
Anyway, I now have the task of having to track this down online and making sure I’m not looking at a picture of Miss Dior Cherie 2005 but purchasing Miss Dior EDP 2017. It’s so frustrating.
If you do manage to get your hands on it (I got a sample vial through theperfumedcourt.com) it’s a very pretty, pale pink girly scent, BUT it’s sophisticated and clever at the same time. No blushing innocent naivete here. This little princess knows exactly what she’s doing!
My main verbal impression of this would be ‘strawberry soap’ (but not in a bad way, unless you hate strawberry soap) and the element of caramel popcorn patchouli is there in a slightly gourmand but moreso decorative way, by which I mean it plays back-up to the fruity-floral-soapy elements. The cherry is present but the strawberry, enhanced possibly by pineapple, feels like the main fruit to me.
All in all this is a scent you can imagine through description maybe 75-80% of the way, but there are some indescribable elements to it that you just have to experience for yourself because I can’t find words for it and I haven’t seen anyone below mine really be able to verbalize it either. I’m not saying it’s “OMG as hard to describe as ambergris or oud” but there IS a piece of it that’s hard to put across because there’s no other perfume to compare it to.
It’s Miss Dior and Absolute/Blooming Bouquet’s sassy older sister who kissed all the cute boys and went to all the cool parties and had all the fun in the world all before turning 16 and her younger sisters are older than her now but still trying to catch up. It has that ‘this smells expensive’ feeling as well as a deliberately, calculatingly, cunningly sweetness to it, like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
But try a sample first if you worry the soapiness may be an issue, or the strawberry might be too literal for you. Like I said, it was my first impression and it didn’t fade much so you don’t want to plunk your money down on something so in demand when it turns out you hate it and someone else could have bought it.

After owning and loving miss dior absolutely blooming I became interested in only member of miss dior family that I could love:miss dior cherie 2005.
I tried miss dior cherie 2007,2011 also miss dior edp and they never became more than a simple like but I had higher hopes for this one with notes such as strawberry, cherry, caramel and popcorn so when I found it for an unbelievably affordable price for a discontinued dior I didn’t hesitate
My first impression was strawberry+a hint of more sweetness+new miss dior edp=miss dior cherie 2005.but I know I never can rely on my first impressions.
I like this one more than miss dior edp but absolutely blooming still remains my favorite one.this one isn’t as sweet as absolutely blooming and doesn’t have that adorable elegant powdery undertone yet it has other charms
It’s delicately sweet and enough fruity to make it youthful, lively and girly but there’s nothing childish here. It’s still a classy, ladylike scent thanks to it’s dior quality. Unfortunately I don’t detect any caramel here which I was eagerly looking forward to.I also can’t detect much of popcorn note.but there’s a healthy dose of strawberry and cherry here blended with miss dior’s patchouli.I find patchouli in both of them to be well mannered and tamed.nothing dirty or hippie-ish here and it’s not sharp by any means.not as patchouli and fruits tend to be usually.it has a creamy vibe.it stays like this nice well done and well blended fruitchouli for more than half an hour after that it becomes more floral and more beautiful.I can’t pickup specific floral notes yet(except guessing rose)but I can feel a Musky floral beauty wafting through strawberry/cherrychouli
Actually I expected it to be a real gourmand.sweeter.caramelly.so I’m a little dissapointed but on the other hand I like how it smells on me and I think it can be very versatile and easy to wear.so all in all I’m happy to own it and I’m pretty sure that I can grow to like it more, maybe even love it
Gonna edit this after couple of wearings

I had this in 2007, my first year at college. My boyfriend at the time bought it for me along with the lotion in a gift set for my birthday.
Nice top note of wild strawberry with a pitch of cream which transforms into rosé champagne-y florals.

I wish they would bring this back, I dunno why companies come out with something good then either reformulate it or just get rid of it and make floppy flankers. I have a bottle of this and wow I love the fresh strawberries, a hint of salty popcorn and a creamy caramel background it’s so gorgeous on me. I wanna keep my bottle forever, I wish they would refill themselves.

Please please bring back the 2005 version of miss Dior Cherie it was just perfect and I have so many good memories of it. It was so rich, sophisticated, classy, elegant, girly, feminine and had an unique charm. Nothing will ever compare. I was so in love with it!!!

This was my signature scent from 2005 to 2011, from age 22 to 28 so, basically, this is what my 20s smelled like. after wearing Romance as a teenager, I think I wanted something a little more fun and wild. There is something very mischievous, silly and feminine here. This perfume is a flirt. It is Amy March. Now I would never even think of wearing something so feminine although I believe there is a very strong statement hiding behind the sweet notes: the fakeness of the strawberry scent is, to me, a statement in itself; it’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing; it’s playing games. Acting sweet and innocent while hiding the brains of that wildchild.

I was given a full bottle of this as a gift, by a very kind and lovely person, emotional and bubbly and sweet, who would have worn this to perfection if she’d been some 30-40 years younger. Alas, she gifted it to me, and while I love the fact that she gave me a perfume, I do not think this is for me at all. It possesses a sugary-yet-fresh quality that applies well to carefree and ultra confident young people, but there is also something missing, some accord that doesn’twork, some harmony that should happen but doesn’t. I don’t know, I don’t understand this perfume. It kinda makes me cringe. Might be good on somebody else: it’s fruity and slightly flowery, sweet.

    2005:
Back in early 2006 I simply could not wait to get this. I was so impressed by a review I had read on a magazine (Fragrantica didn’t exist back then) I thought it should be a must try, so I got a full bottle for myself without giving it much thought.
The sweet, girly, gourmand hype was rather something new then as it went for designers. Strawberry, popcorn?, oh that’s the dream of every girl! Upon application, it proved nothing like I expected though… I found it way too complicated (like a mesh of many sweet things) and thanks to the patchouli note, dirty. It gave me a headache, so I couldn’t use it and gave it to my mum. She didn’t have much success with it either, and years later, I rediscovered it one of her drawers. I am glad for that day…
Despite it’s never been my signature or anything, I adore the sillage of Miss Dior Cherie. I am talking about the scent not you directly smell off your skin, but the very trail you catch you leave behind. Delicious and clean, I don’t know of another sweet scent which leaves such a wonderful aura behind. I wish it hadn’t smelled rather cloying in close distance.
I guess this would be ideal for a mist application. I don’t have it in that large quantities though. And the quality of the juice… Zero change despite 10 years from the purchase. Says a lot about the history of perfumery and where we are now…

On me this is an average meh scent, the popcorn is salty and the most prominent note, annoying, and the rest is sub par for a Dior house, the caramel/cherry is mediocre on my skin . of course it is on my skin and people do seem to love it and I tried all the yearly versions, but none agreed with me. The salty popcorn is especially irritating, but the caramel and cherry notes , which I generally love, seem very uninspired on me.

One of the main reasons i avoid blind buying based off reviews. This is nothing special…….. It smells like every other fruity patch with gourmand notes. Yes the popcorn note is there but its not the center of the scent. Meh….

    Gorgeous fragrance!!!
I had this back when it was first launched back in 2005 and finally found a bottle on ebay from a reliable seller.
All I can say is why did Dior discontinue this lovely composition of a fragrance? Caramel, popcorn and patchouli(done right) with floral and citrus notes are to die fo!! It’s sweet but not overly sweet can be worn all year long but imo it’s best worn during spring/fall/winter as the hot/humid weather would cause the juice to disappear into thin air. I love it and will purchase another bottle when I run out. Glad to have this back in my collection.

Should never have challenged the feminine power of this perfume. XD
The thing that draw me to this one is “Popocorn” (Look it up. this web really told me that.) lol and yeah, I can smell the buttery popcorn. Yum!
But, strawberry and cherry made it extra girly so… to my mom you go.
It’s clean, yet, can be buttery juicy gourmand at the same time.
It’s every women’s friendly perfume! (Burn this one if you are gothic) lol

Like a bright smile on a sunny day! This is a cute smelling perfume for a woman of any age – someone who is fun, sophisticated, worldly, and retains an innocence and sweetness through it all. I love love love most Dior frags – have not run into one yet I am not fond of, but this one is a definite must-add to my collection 🙂

I came across an empty of this that still had about 5ml left for 4 euros in a car boot sale and I was just hooked on it. To my dismay I learned that the formula ha
