Description
Mercedes-Benz Intense for Men is a stronger and somewhat darker version of the original perfume. Fresh amber is enriched with dry wood with the aim of sensual, olfactive signature.
The opening of the composition introduces Calabrian bergamot, Italian mandarin, essences of lemon and violet leaves absolute. The heart develops aromas of bourbon pepper, cascalone molecules, galbanum, nutmeg and violet absolute, while the base encompasses ambrox, American cedar, bourbon vetiver, limbanol, Indonesian patchouli and cetalox.
The fragrance is available in flacons of the same shape as the first original edition, with iridescent shades from dark to pale gray towards the bottom. It can be purchased as 75ml EDT and 120ml EDT.
Mercedes Benz Intense was launched in 2013.

As all mentioned, the opening is very close to Dior Fahrenheit. But it have own classy signature. For me it works perfect in office or out in the night, especially in cold days. I’ve got alot of compliments too. Unfortunately, I use it for the last two years, and after every bottle bought, the projection and longevity decreases. After all I don’t regret buying it. For me it’s safe fragrance.

I finally sampled this and I have to say that it’s amazing. It smells like dior fahrenheit only without that gas/mature vibe. Performance is great. I could still smell it strong 8 hours after spraying on my arm that my jacket was also pushing against.
It’s like a Fahrenheit but suitable for younger people too.

I get the comparisons to Fahrenheit, and while it does smell similar(I’m assuming due to the violet leaf) it’s not as daring or bold…but, I feel like it is a little more versatile, and easier to wear

This juice IS close to Fahrenheit Aqua with the Dior perfume being just a little nicer – but only a little. This is a well blended, fresh, floral fragrance with lovely notes of violets, pepper and vetiver. Longevity and projection both very good. The dry down is the best part, it’s gorgeous. This costs a lot less than Fahrenheit too. Benz Intense also reminds me of Gentlemen Only and, maybe, a little Bvlgari Man.. This is a really lovely fresh and floral juice – I love it, and it’s good value. Highly recommended.

Agree with wahaj_rehman. Is a bad copy of Fahrenheit. Powdery in a bad sense. A better “light version” of Fahrenheit is Fahrenheit Cologne.

Wonderful stuff.
This is a brighter, friendlier version of Dior Fahrenheit, minus the leather, plus some vetiver and other supporting notes to “man it up” just enough. It’s also a stupendous value for what’s in this stylish, heavy bottle.
As you can see from the notes, there is no leather in this one, and thus none of that gasoline vibe that comes with it – which can be good or bad, depending on your feelings about it. For me, I love both. Where I wouldn’t wear DF at the office or out and about (too serious IMO), I feel I can wear this one just about anywhere. It’s potent enough that it’ll reach out about arm’s length, and can last several hours if sprayed correctly.
If you’re after a smart, flexible combination covering the gamut of Fahrenheit type scents, all you need is two inexpensive fragrances to pull it off: MB Intense and Ferrari Uomo. Where this one brilliantly conveys the beautiful floral aromatic side of DF, Ferrari Uomo focuses on the petrol leather side. Each is of a quality that simply blows away its modest price tag. Together, they really hit the DF spot, while separately are more than good enough to stand on their own.

A heavy blast of violet, which I’m a big fan of. Vetiver and pepper make it smell plenty masculine. Great combo there.
The fragrance itself is exactly what I’d imagine an “intense” to smell like. It’s somewhat dark, but classy. I like that.
Performance is a little worse than I expected, but I still get 5-6 hours from it with 4 sprays and about an hour and a half of projection. I like it as either a work fragrance or something for a less casual night out.

Guys. I really don’t know where you all are getting the Dior Fahrenheit similarities from but I’m getting more of Atelier’s Vetiver Fatal or Eight & Bob’s Nuit de Megeve. Closer to Eight and Bob however. I really enjoy this scent. Completely office safe and friendly and garners a lot of compliments. Is it groundbreaking, no. However a pretty decent release from a car brand…

Usually reject male floral fragrances. However, this is nicely balanced. It has a prominent violet scent but remains masculine. It is a pleasure to wear and is very addicting, as I find myself wanting to smell it frequently. My wife loves to smell it as well. Sends a vibe of masculine power and calm self-assuredness.

The company gave me a bottle when this launched. Nice fragrance but it gave me a bad head, so I gave it to a friend. Now, every time I go round, I can smell this amazing fragrance on her. But it didn’t suit me at all.

Dear all,
This one is a good imitation of Dior’s masterpiece, in fact I have to admit that, even though I do not normally appreciate the lack of originality, this one is able to have it’s own personality that clearly distinguishes this one from the original.
Of course, I would never buy this over CD F. or CD A.F. but is however a good fragrance with an excellent performance.

I got a little sample of this and I have to say I am really enjoying testing it out. The opening on this juice is amazing! I definitely get the comparison to Fahrenheit on the opening.
The first couple of hours really smell great and project a little scent bubble around you as well. Unfortunately the dry down is very generic in a kind of out dated way. And the longevity is not great either. I get 5 hours max and half of that it is a skin scent.
It is pretty cheap so maybe I will play ck up a bottle in spring and just reapply every couple of hours.

Got one 1.5ml vial from my recent purchase. I like this one, feels refreshing and coldish-sweet at the same time. An elegant scent, if I must say.
The opening is kind of similar to other citrus scents. But wait for it reaches the drydown, you will find the true beauty of this one.
If you want to have a clean, fresh, as well as sweet altogether, go bag this one.

This is a darker and stronger version of the original. Unlike a lot of ‘intense’ flankers that we see in the market which bear little to no resemblance to its original, this is exactly what it is expected to be. Projection and longevity are very good and one has to be very careful not to over spray. This frag is perfect for the evening and is suitable in both formal and casual situations. All in all, a beautiful fragrance highly complimented by both males and females. Top marks also for the flawless presentation.
I have really grown to love this scent. To me, it is very masculine and seductive and it enhances my confidence when I wear it. I must get another bottle before it is being watered down by inevitable future reformulation.

I literally got a ton of compliments on this one. Everyone in the office was asking what I was wearing. One of my friends asked me what I was smelling the other day and I said it was mercedes. He sniffed it and directly pulled out 40 bucks and threw them on the desk and asked to grab him one. Really interesting cologne. There is one draw back. The calone note is overemphasized which results in a smell that seems synthetic.

I like Aqua Fahrenheit but I like this fragrance even more. It clearly use as inspiration the classical Fahrenheit, but with a fresh modern twist.
To my nose the dominant notes are violet, patchouli and the cascalone. The citruses are not strong on my skin. The performances are quite good, 8h of longevity with 2-3h of nice projection.
I used this fragrance in the spring and now in the summer and fits great the hot weather. I will try it in the fall and winter also.
Don’t be afraid to try it!

It is a quite simple fragrance that may be blind bought if found cheap..however..it is not a unique one..I would say instead it is rather ordinary..I found something generic about it that I can also find in hugo boss “just different”, the intense version of it is terribly strong and I am sure no man can stay sniffing it form more than 5 seconds, I want to vomit (not overreacting) each time I have a sniff…….simply not a good intense version…as for the comparison with he wood…NO WAY..he wood is a much much better smelling one!

A year after the launch of the traditional version, in 2012, Mercedes-Benz decided to keep its male line of fragrances and, once again, counted on the genius of Olivier Cresp, creator of several hits for Dior, Kenzo, Givenchy, etc. and, in 2013, launched this Intense version. The background for this creation was the man who, while adopting the traditional version for a few moments of his day, pick the intense version to other goals, other wishes. Or maybe it’s another kind of man: modern and more concerned with fashion trends, that don’t give up on the charm and want to feel safe in order to move forward. It was for these two types of man that, although similar, have their differences, that the company has dedicated this fragrance.
On the contrary to what I’ve read around, the manufacturer does not mention nutmeg or galbanum in this composition. It’s a tip for those looking for new scents, based on existing notes, who often ends up buying blindly and disappointed.
Here, the output notes are bergamot from Calabria, Italian Mandarin and violet leaves absolute. In the heart, Bourbon pepper, violet (the flowers) and Cascalone, which is a molecule that recalls the sensation of freshness, as an aquatic overdose. At the base, Woody notes of Bourbon vetiver, cedar and patchouli from Indonesia, ending with the creaminess of the Cetalox (also known as Ambroxan/Ambrox), which is a synthetic created to reproduce the sensation of ambergris, that helps a lot to increase the durability of the perfume on the skin.
The result is a very rich aroma, with a slightly sweet output by the mandarin and, at the same time, dry and floral, thanks to the absolute of violets. The power of violets continues emerging during the evolution, when the floral aspect is more prominent and slightly spicy. Finally, the base gives the masculine and essential touch, with enticing and dense nuances.
To me, the base of this cologne is almost a vision: a girl walking hand in hand with her parents, where she represents the softness; the father, the virility of Woods and the mother, the aroma that dances between the bitter and the sweet, typical of patchouli. Now, you just have to imagine this scent, in which violet is the big star and the base is the Foundation.
About the bottle, it kept the visual identity, which is solid and elegant, but received a darker and nocturnal touch. I am already waiting to meet the Sport version!

This is actually quite stunning! I bought this blind as I got a pretty good deal on it. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I really didn’t think it would be so uplifting.
The opening is a bit typical of many masculine marketed fragrances with the usual citrus making a strong statement; but the violet is what makes this a bit different. In the heart I don’t really sense any pepper, but the cascalone is prominent (without turning this into an ‘aquatic’).
The base is a sort of mash up of amber and wood, with maybe a touch of grassy vetiver at the end. I couldn’t get a sense of any specific patchouli or cedar per say, but I did enjoy the drydown stage a lot. It somewhat reminds me of both Armani’s ADG Essenza and Dior’s Fahrenheit in that it is deep and rich and fresh all at the same time. It leaves me with an impression of something greater than just another run of the mill masculine EDT. Longevity was as good as I expected for an ‘intense’ EDT lasting about 8 hours maximum. The sillage trail was not massive but still noticeable.
The bottle has a heavy glass base and I love how the frosted dark grey looks together with the quite solid metal plated lid. 4 stars out of 5.

Ok, next thing we’ll have Audi, BMW and few others automobile brand but i understand that involvement of fragrance in automobile world existed since the 80’s and 90’s, such as Maserati, Bugatti, Ferrari, Jaguar so one way to elevate their names. Some are decent too and well made.
