“Meili 9 recalls the smell of hot terracotta, that of the ocher sculptures of the Emperor’s soldiers. A powerful spicy woody fragrance with tobacco notes and a rose heart, dressed in oud wood. The designs adorning the bottles are inspired by the Chinese pottery offered to members of powerful dynasties. The traditional materials used to make pottery are the very essence of these ten perfumes, set in mother-of-pearl and black enamel. The perfumers’ inspiration was built around the color of the materials used and the different textures of ceramics.” – a note from the brand.
