This fragrance is very soft and fresh. Definitely soft enough for office wear. The bottle design is nice and I believe the smell is also unique. For safe and new comer to fragrance world, I think this Mauboussin Pour Lui Time out is a good choice.

You know that shelf at Walmart down near the floor where they keep Brut et al?
That is where this scent belongs. It smells pretty darn good, but in a generic and barely noticeable kind of way. It would be the best among them, yet still bottom shelf.
It is definitely a daytime, wear to work scent, and yet I see my self wearing it to bed so that the girl I am trying to attract at least gets a chance to enjoy it.
I would wear this to a job if said job prohibited the use of colognes and perfumes… that’s the best way I can sum this one up. And like they say in SharkTank:
…for that reason – I’m out.

While the scent opens beautifully with a very prominent black currant note, backed by an aquatic presence, it quickly fades. You’re left with the aquatic backdrop, which doesn’t project as much. However, it’s a good total package. A bit of a stretch, but also quite accurate in an abstract kind of way: imagine a combination of Opium PH and Aqua de Gio. For the prize, it’s something you could definitely try if you’re looking for a comforting, but not provoking, scent.

Just gotten this. Going to take a little time to see how long it will last. But as of right now very beautiful lemony smell with lavender I get out of it. Nice for the spring and summer! I believe this is underrated company and fragrance. You can go wrong with Time out! Wonderful blend of notes I can say.

I’ve had a sample of this from a local perfume and cosmetics store, although its a men’s perfume but it smells so comforting for women. I smell the citrus and blackcurrant at the opening and they are not sour, then the smell of ocean start pouring in. I guess the comforting feeling comes from the lavender. I haven’t got the time to wait for the base notes though, i purchased a full bottle for my husband
