It’s Diesel Zero Plus all over.

I had never even heard of Mandarina Duck before being sent this sample by a generous fellow fragrance traveler, so I googled them and discovered that they are a manufacturer of purses and bags. Okay, so perfume isn’t really their thing, I guess…
Upon application, ROUGE INTENSE reminded me instantly of a hybrid between Burberry BRIT RED and Chôpard MADNESS. Lots of pepper going on here, but also a big sandalwood-vanilla presence very typical of many recent designer floriental launches. However, the wood in this composition seems much more about cedar than sandalwood to my nose, and the good news is that it does not manifest the cheap synthetic sandalwood surrogate tendency to turn sour or stale.
The quality of this perfume seems about appropriate for the price: this is not an example of haute parfumerie. On the other hand, it is wearable, so if you like BRIT RED but think it is too sweet, and you like MADNESS but think that it is too peppery, you might find ROUGE INTENSE to your liking.

Sorry, Fidji is by Guy Laroche not, by Cacharel.

I think that is a spicy fragrance at first, and i like it; but in the end, became in a very innocent floral fragrance; almost a child fragrance and i don’t like that. Remind me at the end to Fidji by Cacharel.
Works good for the office or one day that you feel so girly mood.
Is not a fragrance to remember; is very common.

This reminded me of Arden Beauty. I thought for sure there was rhubarb in the top notes! Possibly I was just misinterpreting the green tea and pepper notes. It dried down to a pleasant, soft floral, but it felt nondescript on me. The base was also soft, and slightly powdery. I could detect a small amount of vanilla and some vague woody notes. But in the end, I was not able to connect with the fragrance emotionally.

I tried it a few times and i just cannot stand it. Not sure which note or combination gives me that feeling but i have to wash it off immediately.

this floral-spicy fragrance is so heating! when I spray it on skin I can almost feel it tingling and getting warm and when I put my nose next to it, the pepper almost makes me sneeze 😉
the pepper is very sharp in this one, tea and cedar are also clean.
i don’t get much of a floral smell from it. usually I’m able to say if there is jasmine, gardenia or lily, but not here.
it’s perfect for a chilly day or an evening if you wanna feel warm and quarrelsome in the same moment 🙂
and, which is very important to me, I have almost 100% guarantee than no one would smell like me 🙂
the more often I use it, the more I love it …
