What a weird and perplexing fragrance. It’s nothing like the original Mambo for Woman and the pinkish packaging is very deceptive. A lot of folks probably purchased this thinking they were going to get something similar to Mambo– a pink lemonade cocktail smell perhaps. Nope. Mambo Mix basically smells like your grandmother opened her spice cabinet and seasoned you for Thanksgiving dinner.
It’s just spicy, spicy, spicy. Like overdose spicy. It’s quite off-putting and strange. After a loooong while it settles down into faint baby soft kind of sweet. But so what?
On the plus side the quality (longevity and throw) are terrific. And it’s dirt cheap enough to justify buying blindly. If you like a ridiculous amount of overpowering spice, try it. You might like it.

I sampled this yesterday and really liked it so I bought a bottle.It has a lighter scent than the original mambo and it smells so good.It has a nice blend of floral mixed with spiciness and it is a tad bit sweet.It lasts and is quickly becoming a favorite.I like all of Liz Claiborne fragrances,they are inexpensive and good quality!
