5th Avenue Nights Elizabeth Arden for women of Elizabeth Arden

Share:

Description

5th Avenue Nights is presented to the market in September 2008. It was created in cooperation with perfumer of the house of Givaudan, Marypierre Julien, and it was announced as a modern, floral-oriental edition which is an excellent representative of the rhythm of the big city and woman who receives her strength from magic of New York.

The perfume introduces aromas of bergamot, mandarin, cyclamen, white freesia and white rose. The heart encompasses flowers: calla, jasmine, lily of the valley, heliotrope and pink lily, while the base notes introduce musk, white chocolate, vanilla and woody accords.

The bottle is black, with holographic dots set into a line. The outside package accompanies design of the bottle, it is created in the same style and it presents lights of the big city in the night. The perfume is available as 30ml, 75ml and 125ml edp.

It’s been almost a year since I ordered a 125mil bottle of 5th avenue night with a lot of hope.I LOVE white chocolate as a perfume note.even the amount of white chocolate in fantasy isn’t enough for me.I was hoping for a lot of buttery, yummy milky white chocolate in 5th avenue night and the idea of mixing it with vanilla, musk and all those lovely flowers looked like a dream for me.I was thinking of a Iris ganache with it’s iris being replaced by lily, heliotrope and other flowers present in 5th avenue night’s pyramid.but well,it was a HUGE dissapointment
White chocolate is there but it’s buried beneath tones of cheap white musk,non-sweet powdery vanilla,a non-descript blah, soapy floral accord and a touch of creamy but soulless woody notes.
It opens with a lot of alcohol and chemical white musk, develops to a bland soapy-powdery floral-vanilla-musk and finally dries down to a pleasant but still too simple and too soft creamy clean scent.
I like it’s drydown as it has a touch of warmth and sweetness.it smells nice, easy to wear and clean and I can’t say it’s bad considering it’s price but it’s a soft skinscent in this stage and each time I wear it I feel so sad thinking of how amazing it could be if they amped up white chocolate and sweetness,if florals were better pronounced and if there was less of this cold chemical white musk.
If you’re looking for a gourmand or a real night perfume here it will disappoint you,but if you’re looking for a soft and safe feminine perfume, something clean and smooth with tamed sweetness it can please you.it’s wearable year round,is OK as a daily pick me up,something to wear around home, even for work
I couldn’t write a review for it as I was hoping that someday it might grow on me but now I’m giving up.I like it’s drydown but I don’t think I can use 125mil of it while a lot of more intresting perfumes are waiting for me
For a creamy, yummy white chocolate, vanilla I’d rather go for Britney Spears fantasy Nice remix and for white chocolate-powder-musk combo I prefer Britney Spears fantasy naughty remix.for a right out of shower, skin being washed with a creamy floral liquid soap I prefer Aubade anecdote
By the way it has nothing to do with Guess marciano IMHO.on me they’re exact opposite.Guess M is a sugary, spicy, citrus bomb, this is a soft, white cloud of cleanness

Do I just LOVE to discern the notes that perfumers say are in fragrances! Golly wow! I am getting the same feeling with “5th Avenue Nights.” What a snooze fest!
I came across this flanker of yawn while shopping for another night fragrance. I was immediately excited when I saw 125mL for the insane cost of TT145. However, a sample of this on my skin cancelled the thought that “5th Avenue Nights” is what I was hoping for.
All I could discern was a shy citrus note, coupled with some unobtrusive spice (possibly the freesia) and an uplifting scent which I thought to be white chocolate. The sillage is none-existant after the first few minutes and the longevity is three hours if you want to wear a perfume that only you know is there.
A disappointment from Arden, I think. Possibly this is for winter – let me just admit that. However, I’m not going to come on here and give impressions as if my nose is so ‘ultra-sensitiva’, picking up notes that obviously I don’t get! This perfume boasts 14 notes, where are they?
A Bath and Body Works body spray has more sillage and longevity than this by far! Reminds me of “Green Tea” – another flanker that boasts great things but fails to deliver. Anyway, to those who own and love this, absolute power to you!

Blind Buy, disappointing but not terrible.
So here’s the deal with this one. On my skin it smells exactly like a fresh milky white bar of floral soap. Not a gourmand note in sight. I can almost taste the sharp, bitter, and slightly green flower notes. Only as it softens down does a creamy & musky vanilla come up from the base, but it’s mostly lost beneath the dense “soapy” florals, and still doesn’t give any kind of edible impression. This is very PERFUMEY perfume. In the late dry down when the flowers have faded off is when the white chocolate gets more distinct and the fragrance gets sweeter.
In spite of the lack of sweet cocoa butter and vanilla goodness, this is an overall pleasant scent. Inoffensive, pretty. I think it smells kind of low-budget, but that could be the simple fact of getting over 4 ounces for less than $15 doing something snobby to my brain.
    EDIT:
But what I REALLY said was…
“January 3rd 2018 — It smells “dull” according to (my 8 year old son). To me, it smells like soap and cheap musk. Laundry musk. Flavored with white chocolate freesias and heliotrope. Maybe some rose. Maybe. It’s just…elderly, a little. And not in the thick and spicy awesome vintage way. In the, I no longer sweat much so I don’t need to shower but I still want to smell clean so I’m gonna just spray 14 pumps from this atomizer full of Avon because I don’t have the scent receptors I used to so I don’t know it’s suffocating people.”

While I agree that this is a lovely powdery floral, I don’t get why this 5th Avenue flanker is called Nights when it’s a daytime scent IMO. Sure, it’s pleasant enough and inoffensive, although it gives my nose this slight sting that some kiddie colognes have (maybe due to the bergamot and mandarin orange notes?). Since it carries the name of 5th Avenue I was expecting something as sophisticated as the original one, but I get a scent that a girl in her early teens could wear. Longevity is okay for me, it lasts up to four hours before I need to reapply.

Accidentally left a negative review based on half info had to personally come back and say this is very much my signature now. Just the right powdery effect I love….

You know that soft smell of non descript something that you might get on someone working in an office all day or who is trying not to offend anyone – this is soft like that. its almost skin scenty – powdery cool.
The opening was fine, the rest was a bit plain in some way, can’t distinguish notes. Yeah you’ve smelt his 100 times before.
Good value for size, good if you want a safe easy, it smells better on my friend.
    EDIT
GAVE THIS BOTTLE TO FRIEND. It seems it needed to be used by someone else and be exposed to air and light which seems to make it bloom it’s soft bloom. I do like the scent it’s nit that, but I’ve got others I would wear over this. Lovely soft powdery dusky slightly warm ish but cool scent.

This perfume in my opinion is synthetic all the way but since I bought a 125 ml bottle which is as big as the Empire State Building, I either get used to it or give it away. I had this perfume a few years ago but gave it to my mom who appreciates it. Thought I’ll give it another try, we’ll see.

Initial spray is all sharp, typical cheap smelling alcohol and musk. But the drydown. Oh my goodness.
Its slightly creamy, slightly musky, with a hint of some sort of citrus and floral. So pleasant, soft, and airy. 5th avenue nights is one of those perfumes I spray the back of my hand with to sniff it over and over as I wear it throughout the day.
If I were to pick out a specific floral note here, id venture to go ahead and say arum lily, actually! This is a pleasant and happy little scent I recommend you try if you see.

I blind bought this based on the reviews. It’s a nice, sweet floral with a musky base, but I don’t smell nearly as much white chocolate as I had expected. Despite the name, it’s actually more of an everyday scent than a nighttime scent in my opinion. It doesn’t project much, but the longevity is good. It’s not a dupe of Fantasy Naught Remix, but they have similarities. Although I’m disappointed that this doesn’t have more white chocolate, it’s still a good perfume especially for the price (I got mine for around $10 for 4.2oz).

    lovely, easy to wear
    sweet but not sugary
    loud but not overwhelming
the chocolate scent adds some warm here
    it’s like a more- easy-going hypnotic poison
    perfect for any occasion

This is simply gorgeous! I wasn’t sure about buying it as there are a lot of mixed reviews about it and it confused me a bit but I found a cheap bottle so took the plunge. It’s a beautiful warm floral, musk scent. I’m mainly picking up white musk mixed with sweet florals, it’s very pretty and feminine, nothing offensive about it whatsoever, it’s a cosy scent and suitable for everyday use. Very nice, so glad I bought it. I’m working my way through the 5th Avenue fragrances, this is my 2nd, 5th avenue after 5 was my first which I like but this one is nicer……. Now which do I try next 😉

For the most part this smells just like Obsession for men. Nothing wrong with that… just not what I expected. I didn’t smell any flowers. There was something very sour after about 5 mins but it quickly faded. Becomes a skin scent after a few hours. I can definitely smell white chocolate and vanilla. Bit average. I’ll pass on this one and look forward to Royale.

I expected a gourmand dark dessert. What I get instead is a floral bouquet, lemon tea and loads of white musk ! This doesn’t mean I don’t like it, to the contrary, it’s just very different from what the notes suggested. 🙂
When first sprayed, you get a blast of flowers, all mixed together it’s kinda hard to differentiate them but I would say the freesia, the calla and the cyclamen are the strongest at first. The scent of calla flower, to me, is the smell of pollen you get when you touch the inside of a flower. It’s a yellowish smell, kind of intrusive and a bit sour. Cyclamen to me is a fantasy note, it just represents a green essence and the beauty of this flower (on a side note, my cyclamens keep dying it’s annoying ahah). As the scent develops, I get a very strong lemon note and a very acidic bergamot. The lemon felling is like drinking boiled water with a big slice of lemon in it. The bergamot only adds to the freshness and the greenness previously felt thanks to the cyclamen and freesia note.
We are now at the 2 hours mark and the lily-of-the-valley (that I looove) shyly pops up with the jasmine. Unfortunately heliotrope is non-existent to me (its almond-facet would have been much appreciated) and the peony is very faint, just as the rose that remained surprisingly discreet since the beginning…
After the 3 hours mark, the scent dries down to a very generic white musk that is so common. Hopefully, the vanilla kicks in layered on soft blond woods that fixes the base. I don’t really understand why white chocolate is the most voted note because it’s not huge on me, I couldn’t tell it’s white chocolate if it was not listed. I would have guessed creamy milk with a tiny touch of coconut.
The scent remains noticeable for 5 hours and it is very enveloping for floral lovers like me. The base notes make the scent a bit warmer but I don’t get the name “Nights”… To me, this is not related to nights out or anything like that. I would never chose this one for an evening out or as a night scent. It’s too floral, too green and soft for that.
I like it very much however ! Great for a walk in spring, as a “pick-me-up”, great for office, coffee-break in the city-centre, for a week-end in the countryside, etc. Very versatile indeed. I would like to see how it performs in cold weather, maybe the white chocolate will be more noticeable.
All in all, a nice fragrance and my first one from the house of Elizabeth Arden. Britney Spears fragrances brought me here (Elizabeth Arden manufactures them) and as they are cheap and good quality, it raised my interest in the main brand. This convinces me to explore more of EA fragrances, especially since I see they have lots of florals. 🙂 Give it a try if you can !

I absolutely love the original 5th Avenue and was expecting to love this too..But it does not stay on my skin. Looking at the notes, it should..But I can only smell it about the first half hour and it’s gone all together after.

This is the one bottle in my swap pile that has turned out to be absolutely unswappable. It’s been on my regularly posted swap lists for close to a year – no other fragrance has managed that, the perfume that has been on there the second longest has only been so for like half a year. Why? WHY?! I mean, sure, it ended up in the swap pile in the first place so this obviously means I am not keen on keeping it around myself, but I really try to keep my collection as small as possible and that’s the only reason why this one isn’t staying.
I took it out just now to give it a spray, it’s quite lovely – a little flowery, slightly powdery, musky, clear water splashy, coconutty (I guess that’s the white chocolate, it sort of reads creamy rather than sweet). So why isn’t this fragrance enticing to swappers? Is it that the people that would go for 5th Avenue shy away from anything gourmand? Is it because the gourmand lovers stay away from classic florals like 5th Avenue? I wouldn’t even call this gourmand, it’s more of a musky powdery floral with a dash of something sweetly creamy.
Seriously, if I can’t find anyone that would swap for this within Europe – it’s a cheapie and also a partial bottle in my case, so there really wouldn’t need to be much in return – I’ll just do a giveaway and hope that it will finally get shown some love!

I blind bought this after finding a good deal at Burlington Coat Factory. I scored a 4.2 oz bottle for $14. Was it worth under 20 bucks? Absolutely. Do I love it? Eh. It’s very nice. Much nicer than its price. My husband thinks it smells delicious and a man in the grocery store tonight complimented me as well. I think it’s safe to say men love it… but for me, it’s nothing to write home about. It reminds me of a more sophisticated, powdery, & softer Britney Spears Naughty Remix. I imagine this would be right up your alley if you love that one! It’s sweet but very well balanced. All powdered floral bouquet dipped in white chocolate.
I bought this tonight at about 5pm, unboxed it in the car to give it a try right then and there, continued about my nightly errands, and it’s still going strong close to 10pm! So the staying power is pretty good for it’s price! Overall I do like it so far. It’s only been a few hours so there’s still a chance it could develop into a love… and if not, it’ll go up for swap or find itself a prize in a fragrantica giveaway. If I have any further revelations about the fragrance, I’ll come back and update.
Update: So 5th Avenue Nights did find itself in a giveaway and is in transit to its new owner as we speak! lol I have Naughty Remix and didn’t feel I needed both since they’re very similar.

On me it’s mostly white chocolate. Kind of like cheesecake as someone else has mentioned. Florals are noticeable and beautiful. I am a floral lover so i do not find this too floral for me though others complain of this being too floral. I am not a huge gourmand fragrance fan but consider this to be one of my favorite gourmand perfumes in my collection right now.
White chocolatey cheesecake with fresh florals is a hit in my book. It’s very much comfort territory for me. The florals just make it so beautiful but compared to many florals i own it is not very floral. I get moderate projection with 5 noticable hours before it fades to a skin scent. I picked up a jacket i wore this with a week ago to put on and noticed this beautiful scent was still lingering on it. I felt compelled to spray more 5th Avenue Nights on for the evening. Divine.

A barely detectable fresh floral with a bit of white chocolate somewhere in the background. Pretty. Didn’t last an hour and minimal silage.

Great value if you can make this work for you.
I cant. Its watery floral that reminds me of the vintage panthere legere by cartier. The base of white chocolate (the reason why I bought it) was faint on me. Its a nice beautiful scent…just diddnt work for me. its not a white chocolate dominated scent. Its more floral.

There was no doubt I’d like this, so I bought it blind. It’s a good scent, that’s for sure! I’m really liking it.
I agree with comparisons of Provocative Interlude (only the white chocolate note for me) and Love’s Baby Soft. I can plainly smell both, not for long, and not terribly strong, but they ARE there.
I don’t find this scent to be powerful OR really long lasting like some have mentioned. I don’t doubt that it is long lasting for those who say it is. But for me, sadly, it isn’t.
This scent is very nostalgic for me. I don’t think it’s because of the Love’s Baby Soft. But there is a strong association to that time frame. Maybe it IS?
I would recommend this to anyone that thinks they might like it. Pretty sure you will! I’m so glad to have this one. I hope with time, it might just become stronger? Then again….I’m a bit heavy handed anyway, so it might be best as it is.
This scent doesn’t really seem to be a night time scent. This is a lovely clean little lady, YOUNG lady. This is not “mature”, nor is it TOO young. This would have been a love for me if I didn’t own Provocative Interlude. Even at that, this is worth owning! I hope all who purchase this enjoy it as much as I am!
    Way to go Elizabeth Arden…again!

    Fifth Avenue Nights
Is this supposed to smell like the same gal who went shopping on Fifth Avenue in the day time is now ready to sport the mini dress or cocktail dress she bought at a nightclub?
This is a very youthful girly scent. I was quite surprised by it. I assumed that most Elizabeth Arden fragrances were designed for the mature crowds like me. It’s a very nice perfume though and it’s not too sugary or too sweet, although as far as Arden frags go it’s probably the sweetest. It’s a lightly textured floral, not powdery but a bit on the gourmand side.
The opening notes are floral and the heart is floral so it seems like they wanted to start with flowers in order to put them aside later on. There’s heliotrope, peony, freesia and lilies. I’m familiar with the scent of arum lily and white lilies as well as lily of the valley and this is exactly that. It’s not quite as green as the real thing but it’s delicate as a white floral. Soft dreamy flowers. The heliotrope is a bit powdery and embraces something akin to vanilla. Is vanilla part of this scent? Because I can smell it.
There’s a white chocolate scent here that you have to be quick to smell. It occurs in the dry down stage when it starts to smell creamy like a cappuccino frothy and sweet. There’s also some woodsy notes but they’re almost like cinnamon sprinkles.
    Delicious!
This is a beautiful flanker for 5th Avenue and it’s easy to wear not only to parties but to the office/work as this scent is not a heavy hitter like the original 1st Fifth Avenue which is a heavier floral. This is like it’s kid sister or daughter. She likes to wear pretty expensive designer clothes but she doesn’t wear them to a charity fund raiser. She wears them to dance and drink herself into a cute guy’s Porsche.
Sweet, girly, fun, innocent, delicious, an aroma of flowers vanilla cream and white chocolate.
    Gourmand and tasty.

I got this at TJ Maxx so I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but where is that chocolate everyone is talking about?? Its nowhere to be found. It seems like its very close to 5th Ave original which I am not a fan off. I was expecting more gourmand feel but this is not even close. I kept smelling and smelling and nothing even remotely oriental or sweet was happening.
    Bleh
It’s going back to the store.

This is soft, delicate and very beautiful but it has great silage. I love that white chocolate woodsy vanilla base. Definitely a sweet gourmand, but not synthetic or too young smelling. This is a perfect every day scent for a sophisticated woman with a playful yet sensual side. A new favorite for me.

5th Avenue Night is a lovely sweet gourmand scent with a floral touch. It has essence of white chocolate which is by far it’s most pronounced note. That delicious smell is unbeatable. It has powder notes as well but that’s because the cacao can turn to powder in addition to that heliotrope and rose. There’s floral scents of freesia and lilies. The vanilla is also a dominant accord. It smells sweet, innocent, and can be worn to the office, to school, to any place, really. It’s not assaulting anyone’s noses. It’s just a lovely light scent that one can enjoy. Longevity is good for such an inexpensive fragrance. I can still smell the lingering white chocolate and vanilla. It does tend to smell like Hershey White Chocolate or Almond and chocolate but that’s not a bad thing. This is a delectable scent. It drives my boyfriend wild. It’s not terribly seductive but it’s for women who love to smell like they can be eaten, and then get eaten.

This… reminds me of the original formulation of Crystal Noir, actually. Something about it also makes me think Kenzo Amour, but mostly Crystal Noir. I did not expect that. I like Crystal Noir, but I don’t love it, which is why I swapped away my tester of it. I don’t think I am going to hang on to this one either, even though there is nothing wrong with it. It wasn’t quite as gourmand-y as I had hoped.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I love the scent but its longevity and sillage are disturbing me. I need about 10 spritzes to start smelling it. And then the magic comes…night walk along the fields not far from a lake….it has the same night water vibe as CK Night Obsession but it is much softer and less present…warm creamy subtle scent. White flowers blended with white chocolate. The creaminess comes from the white chocolate- musk- vanilla combi…delicious…haunting but also calming in the drydown….you would want more of it but it is very subtle. I would call it ” White Nights” and its colour is shimmering pale silver. For the lovers of skin scents.
Update: Well, the longevity and sillage are getting better now that it is warm. It is not a January fragrance, it needs warmth to truly show its worth. It is definately much more present, the orchestra of notes coming through,I’ m really enjoying its calming presence.

It is so interesting how perfumes change their notes, projection and smell based on not just who is wearing (that makes huge difference) but also if I tried it on my wrist, or top side of the arm, or neck, or clothes.
This one is a different perfume on every part of my body. So all reviews beneath make sense.
    1. On my wrist this is light white-floral fragrance that has gentle coldness in musk notes. And it is light floral from beginning till end.
    2. On my neck is more gourmand, musky-white chocolate , still refreshing and light (guess musk gives the freshness). So no flowers anymore, and white chocolate in
    3. on my clothes and even more on the upper side of hand/arm this is soft, fluffy, sweet white chocolate, gourmand, delicious fragrance.
In any case excellent value for the (low) price, and excellent for layering or mixing with other fragrances for its freshness, lightness and muskiness 🙂

This strongly reminds me of Vera Wang Princess. It is not at all suitable for a night clubbing in my opinion, it’s a warm, cosy scent to wear in front of a fireplace on a familyweekend. It is soft, sweet, warm – not complicated, but a really good fragrance though. Especially for the price.

Oh, now this is surprisingly lovely. Flowers, wrapped around a vanillary Cadbury’s Milky Bar chocolate bar.
I like this a lot more than I expected, given the sharpness of the original 5th Ave.
I read this was discontinued. I very much hope not, this is rapidly growing on me.

This very much reminds me of Burberry Body, which is enchanting somehow. Funny thing is: both Burberry Body and EA 5th Avenue Night I didn’t really like at first, but after several sniffs it is just love. And the price is really good too! Imo this is just underrated! Happy with the Bargain! (12 € for 75ml)

Interesting perfume that gives me mixed emotions. I bought a 4.2 oz for under $10, so no complaints there, however I expected it to be a little more vanilla and gourmand. For some reason, this smells like a very milky fig fragrance on me, although I know that there is no fig in its composition. It is reminding me of a few others, all with fig: Benefit Lookin’ to Rock Rita, CSP Coco Figue and Demeter Fig Leaf. I do have to say that it is different than most of my collection, and it is definitely growing on me. Those who are lovers of musk will be happy with the longevity and trail.
May I comment on the bottle: I happen to think that it is a beautifully strong glass pillar with a good weight to it, and although a sticker, the label has just enough shimmer and shine. I will say that upon removing the cap, the atomizer sprayer was a big disappointment. It was just a little white plastic top that resembled a perfume sample vial spray, and really kind of cheapened the whole look.

This is a huge cloud of warm, edible vanilla with floral undertones. For the price point it’s amazing value and long-wearing. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy gourmands.

It’s so nice and sweet – mostly I get the white chocolate and musk and some heliothrope. However it can’t replace my beloved 5-th Avenue. Besides the sillage and longevity are worse. It’s like a yonger and gourmand version of the original.

  34. :

Is this the right olfactory group for this perfume?i.e Oriental floral. To my nose this is more a fruity floral gourmand in the same vein as Fantasy etc. The top notes of cyclamen ,fresia and mandarin, etc were too much for me to handle and i mmediately recoiled…..ugh! As it dried down i got the white chocolate and slight vanilla…..it became sweeter and i guess sun tan lotionesque due i suppose to the musk, lilly of the valley, jasmine and heliotrope. From there on it just started to fade to a slightly sweet musky floral giving that clean i just showered vibe……albeit with poor longevity. This was a total blind buy and it just doesn’t work for me. I was totally hooked by it being a suppossed Oriental floral and having so many positive reviews. Total dislike for me! I’m not too impressed with the packaging either…..the liquid shud have been darker to flow with the night theme.

This was a blind buy for me (after checking Fragrantica lol). I thought it would have been stronger with “Nights” in the name but it’s very soft & inoffensive. It’s a light flowery/powdery smell on me that will work in the office or after a shower as it has a very mellow calming feeling about it. It reminds me of something from my childhood, but I can’t figure out what.
LOVES BABY SOFT!! That’s what it reminds me of, from high school many many many years ago lol.

Amazing value….So far this is my favourite from the 5th Avenue line up.
I dont find this to be much like provocative interlude – 5th Avenue Nights is less musky and more floral.
Im liking the sweetness here, there is a freshness somehow – not citrus freshness, its a bit like a shower gel type smell. But in a good way!
Im feeling classy when I wear this, and young. Its a nice way to introduce more florals to a person who perhaps usually goes for those girly candy scents like Britney Spears Fantasy.
The white chocolate gives this a nice creamy sweetness that blends really well with those florals, another great perfume from Elizabeth Arden.

Bought this one as a blind buy online, it was supercheap.
I like this scent and I really get the white chocolate, musk and white flowers.
…But like all the Elizabeth Arden perfumes I have tried ( and I always buy perfume, never Edt) it has a very disappointing longevity. Too bad. 🙁

The first time i bought this perfume, i wasn’t quite interested with its packaging and the label of the bottle, however.. the scent of the fragrance what blews me off. the smell was so addicting, sweet floral and gourmand scent.. however, don’t spray it too much or it’ll give you and the prrson beside you to have nausea, because the smell is quite heavy and depends on the skin type of a person for the longetivtity, mine is long lasting.. so 2-3 sprays is appropriate..

To me this is mostly nice flowers and white chocolate powder. It smells very fresh on my skin. But it doesn’t last, only 15 minutes and I have to put my nose against my skin. Ohhh I’m so disappointed ! I love the smell so much! I have a 125 ml bottle, and over the weekend I already used up quarter of the bottle. It’s more like a body splash… I’ll probably try Magnetism by Escada.

There are some desserts that look gorgeous, sophisticated and expensive, but they actually are quite simple to prepare. This scent reminds me white chocolate lace covered fresh fruits with some mild flower petals for decoration -simple, easy, but so delicious and beautiful. And at the table there’s a lady wearing expensive, long, new leather gloves.
I had quite low expectations, but when I received this, I was surprised in a very good way. It has very little to do with the regular 5th avenue.
The opening is sweet, fresh and flowery (I get a beautiful bunch of lilac, peony and a bit of mild jasmine). Then it turns creamy and delicious, settles down, lies on my skin like a fresh made white chocolate cream with some real vanilla added. I actually dislike the white chocolate as a food, but here it’s beautifully blended with other notes. And the last wonder- the dry down is not only about vanilla and white chocolate, there’s a beautiful, reserved calm , but noticeable leather note added. A mild, charming, sophisticated leather note mixed with that gourmand sweetness! Just beautiful!

I don’t specially like this perfume, i find it pleasant, but most of the time i wear it only at home. It is a warm and cosy scent, i like to wear it when i’m home in the warm room while outside it is chilly or snowy. During the winter i also like to wear it when i go to sleep, with its chocolate odour it smooths my nerves. It very rarely happens that i wear it outside, only when the weather becomes suddenly cold, in a cold, wet day during the summer for example. And to my great surprise whenever i wear it outside my apartment, this is the very perfume that gets the more compliment! People come to me and ask me what i wear and where they could buy it. It is really strange as i have a lot of perfumes and most of them i find better than this one, still, it is the greatest success.
It is true that it is a very pleasant, sophistacated gourmand scent, not offensive, not boring, and it really lasts long on my skin. I like to have it and i will repurchase it when i run out of this bottle, as i like to wear it when i feel cold and it need some warm feeling- but this is definitely not my favourite. Actually i think the original 5th Avenue is more a jolly joker, my only prefume that can be worn in any occasion, it will be good for a theatre or for a conference, for sports or for shopping, for summer or winter, whenever i can’t decide what to wear, 5th Avenue is always a good desicion- while 5th Avenue night is not good when the weather is hot or when i want something really elegant. Anyway, for its price its a great perfume.

This was an excellent blind buy. After reading the reviews here (thank you fragrantica nation;) I just had to get one. I’m in love! I’ve been wearing it since I got it.
When I first sprayed it I thought hmmm I’ve smelled this before … and then I remembered my sisters best friend was using Gucci Premiere. S
